I've suggested a few times now in these /aco/EGS threads that my personal prediction is that Pandora will reset at some point in the story, IF Dan lives long enough to tell it all. I think this installment might be the beginning of her becoming sane enough to let go of her grief. Likely, she'll want to fix a few things she made a mess of, and there are some pretty evil critters running loose that she may even hero out to save the world ... and, incidentally, her family.

Sarah's just the sweetie who might be able to handle an immortal's breakdown. At least, well enough not to end up dead.

Raven would have been spawning kids he wasn't keeping track of for centuries, scattered throughout the world. First guess would be that a tiny bit of immortal blood is how wizards work, but since magic can awaken in people I don't think that's the case, and it certainly wouldn't be worth freaking out over.

Calling it now: the descendants of half-immortals are where abberations come from. Aka, vampires and the like. That's why they say that abberations are people who end up twisting themselves into something else for power. Unless you connect the dots on their ancestry, you don't know they are not just normal people, and them twisting themselves into inhuman forms is just a tiny fragment of immortal shapeshifting magic.

Its how abberations occupy the same 'behind the scenes' astral plane realm that immortals hang out in.

Keep in mind the context of this conversation: No matter what Raven personally believed or suspected, his go-to most-trusted source was Pandora. If she sincerely believed it was impossible for Raven to father children, she'd be a pretty convincing source on that info, especially if it was also believed by most other people & immortals.

If this turn out to be cannon in EGS: Over centuries of relationships, Raven may well have encouraged his wives/partners to get pregnant by other men (by deceptive magic, also) so that they would have the joy of raising their own children. He's just used to the idea of his women having other men's children at this point & expects that to be his situation; he raises them as his own, never expecting to experience fatherhood but still enjoying having a family.


We've never seen Susan's father, and she has no clear memory of him. We only have her childhood perception of her father "cheating" on her mother. What if it was Raven, and he wasn't actually cheating, but had other important reasons for meeting her and needing it to be secret?

As I recall, cannon (as explained way back near the beginning of the comic) indicates that sex change negates pregnancy if it is done very early on. So, Elliot could boink Ashly, she could use a TF gun or ring to become male within a few hours or perhaps within a few days, and then morph back into a girl and have no worries.

It is possible for a male who is transformed into a female to become pregnant, and be stuck as a female until after the baby is born. There is some threshold fairly early on past which the life of the child cannot be compromised by transformation. Details are still unrevealed in cannon. Technically, I suspect/speculate that a fertilized egg by itself would not be enough, but once it embeds itself in the uterus lining there is probably a very rapid hormonal chemistry change that prevents a morph out of female form.

STDs would be a different concern. But, not one I think Elliot would be exposed to in cannon due to his attitude toward relationships, and thus anyone he was in a relationship with. In that various fanfic alt-universes, of course the massive cum-swapping orgies the entire cast is involved in would be a different story.

Out of general fastidiousness & honor, Elliot probably would use a condom often (or, at least offer to), but he's well-aware he doesn't need to so long as he is careful to follow other protocols available in the EGS universe.

So, today's comic claims that the ability to 'shrug off' any enchantment is one of a Seer's powers.

Dos that mean that Tedd used that to undo his 'permanent sex change' magic mark ability? The one he didn't know if he could undo?

Because if so, that's a bit worrying. That means that if he uses it on anyone else, that person is stuck. His Magic Def++ only applies to himself, presumably. He won't be able to break that spell on other people.

Tedd has a spell to sex-swap other people forever with no real way back, and he won't know he can do it until he uses it on someone other than himself.

In EGS an "Enchantment" just means a non-permanent magical effect. All enchantments will eventually just go away on their own, and coincidentally MOST (but not all) transformation effects are enchantment based.

Tedd's spell is more unusual in that it can create a permanent effect, but it's not unique, and honestly I doubt that his ability to return to normal has anything to do with his being a Seer. It's probably just a Magic Spell that can cause a permanent sex change, and realizing that it wasn't an enchantment briefly freaked him out.

He makes it up as he goes along. The callbacks to things "hinting at the future" were not real hints, they were just callbacks. He's constantly changing what he wants the comic to be about over the years and can't even stick to a single genre.

I don't take the story seriously and just read it for tg and other fetish stuff, and sometimes fun characters because he does that 'ok' sometimes.

I've felt he needed to just start a new webcomic now that he's gotten good at it, but make a solid and consistent story with a definite and not long away end.

You want fantasy now Dan? Make a fun scifi fantasy webcomic with a new universe and characters. Hell, you could even have an alternate universe Ted if you wanted. Then go all out and keep up including the TF and TG stuff as plot elements for funsies.

I'm not complaining about his comic, its just not something you can take the story for seriously but it acts like it wants you to.

I kind of feel like an outlier because I really don't care for the furry or BE stuff (or size changing) and yet that seems to be what most of the community is and wants going by what always wins the Patreon pinup polls.
