Take a little rice, take a little beans.
>This is the 3rd time that the Joubin posters made a thread before bump limit
>One Joubin posters thinks this is "quality" even though it's an artisitc choice by Araki.
Araki is my mom and he told me what the ending themes are gonna be for the next parts.
Part 5: Everybody Wants To Rule The World
Part 6: Ocean Man
Part 7: House Of The Rising Sun/Landslide (for the d4c arc)
Part 8: September (Final ending song will be Like A Friend by Pulp, only playing on the final episode, closing the jjba series)
>Not including this as final ED of Part 6
Should be included somewhere in part 6.
>Jojo fans will defend any and all bad writing, forgotten plot points and inconsistencies by using their shitty headcanon explanations
I'm tired of this meme, Araki isn't some master planner that thinks ahead of everything. He just simply forgets most of the time.
Go ahead, for starters explain how Annasui changed genders, how Giorno lost his reflection abilities, how Polpo "ate" his fingers, DIO's coffin, how Pucci moved his eyes in stopped time and dodged the spear.
Touch any vital part of your body. Increase in temperature will denature essential enzymes making them unable to work and combine molecules together. Decrease in enzyme efficency will fuck your body up hard
>The change in temperature is thought to be just a few degrees Celsius.
>Even the Higashikata Family members do not know the ability's true nature.
Speed King has got to have some sort of vibration-related power. It explains how he raises the temperature of something he touches, and also allows him to be a massively powerful final villain.
nigger some of these were already explained fairly.
Jotaro didnt have timepowers fully yet and he could move his eyes.
C-moons gravity made the spear.
Araki didnt want anasui as a woman anymore
Giorno's reflecto didnt satisfy so he gave GE life granting
Polpo's fingers was just a weird thing
And yes, araki forgets shit sometimes but he does plan some things.
>Erina floats off in DIO's coffin at the end of Part 1
>we are supposed to believe that DIO somehow hid in the "secret compartment" of the coffin or that DIO had a second coffin hidden somewhere that he got into at the last second
Basically reverse Sky High but without rods gimmick. Like previous anon said, temperature differences in body can fuck you up pretty good. Yeah, its not that CUH REY ZEH like time stop or alternative timelines, so i guess he will get another power up.
All i eat is
There is no plot holes in jojo, that much I, Mojo Jojo, can say is true, for the truth is that jojo's bizarre adventure has no plot holes that I, Mojo Jojo, can find, as all I can find in the way of plot holes is none, not even one plot hole is there to be found in the series Jojo's bizarre adventure or else it would have been found by me, Mojo Jojo.
Rykiel is cutest
Its necessary for him, because he have trouble keep his head straight, like newborne child.
I dunno, I didn't read Over Heaven so there could have been something about it in there too
But in Jorge it went like DIO kept Erina alive out of respect for Jonathan, while also sucking her blood regularly in order to survive himself
DIO would catch fish and shit for her too keep her fed, too
Erina was too scared to kill him, and also knew that she couldn't survive at sea without DIO helping so she obliged
That's about as far as I remember, it's been a while
Oh thanks for linking this thread to the older one guys
>But in Jorge it went like DIO kept Erina alive out of respect for Jonathan, while also sucking her blood regularly in order to survive himself
>DIO would catch fish and shit for her too keep her fed, too
>Erina was too scared to kill him, and also knew that she couldn't survive at sea without DIO helping so she obliged
>That's about as far as I remember, it's been a while
Yup that is Jorge
In Over heaven iirc it just said he remembers someone similar to his mother pulling him in after the boat esploded
And how the fuck was DIO supposed to survive if she opened up the coffin and the sunlight poured in.
And how the fuck were Erina (pregnant, btw) and a baby supposed to survive without sustenance?
Anyway, I think Jorge also says something about the ocean water being enough to keep DIO safe from the sun, and if she opened the coffin he could easily escape
She got rescued TWO days later, why the fuck would she need DIO to help her survive for two days without food, people have survived for much longer.
This is dumb.
Thirty years have passed and this is still the best ending in Jojo, what gives?
That translation seems garbage
>His ancestors will hear of it
Because it was totally unexpected, while every other ending in the series fits the tone of the Part
I would say Part 7 comes close though since it feels like a real conclusion
>When people are pointing out the inconsistencies in your manga that's been running for 30 years
I like 5's better tbqh, 7 comes after tho.
Honorable mention to 4.
Here's the latest chapter.
>inb4 they cut away from the action
Nah, Araki just forgot.
As I said, all of the endings fit the tone of the Part while Phantom Blood's is a hard, strong shocker that hits like I am your father. It's still pretty unheard of to kill the MC of your work so thoughtlessly
Part 5's fits the tone of its Part pretty well I feel.
As in it pissed me off
It gave us this so I can forgive Araki.
I'm counting the whole ending anon, Sleeping Slaves is the last arc, I don't know why it wouldn't.
There is a difference between attempting to justify any and all shortcomings from a series and author, and simply accepting them for what they are and not being a turbo autist bitching about "muh plot holes" to try and sound smart.
Get over yourself. No one reads JoJo for a consistent plot.
Abbachio existed to complain, Narancia is a joke character with no personality or conclusion unlike Polnareff or Okuyasu and Fugo isn't even a character
So that leaves Bruno and Mista, since Bruno already got so much goddamn development and is Araki's favorite character from Part 5, Mista needed what was left because he's the only relevant character alive at the end
Sleeping Slaves was proof Part 5 was never about Giorno
There is a little bit of Fugo and Bucci in it, not to mention it concludes Mista's arc greatly.
Do us all a favour and test it with your own and bleed out trying to prove an inconsistency that isn't there. Blood can't go through any decent pair of sneakers.
Took 'em off before they fully seeped through.
>But Over Heaven said...
Anything that comes out of that pile of trash (and Jorge Joestar as well) is to be ignored for it is not-canon and a disgrace to the series.
You can't seriously be this retarded.
>Jojo is the only shonuen I read
Shonuen as a whole is pretty crappy desu.
You just read crappy shonen.
I love Sleeping Slaves, it's a great follow up to the anti climax and enjoyable on it's own.
It starts in a very familiar environment, that is the gang having a meal and talking about crap, then we get the whole mission thing, making it feel like it's another regular day.
It's great that it doesn't spill the beans right away, and keeps you in the darkness for some time, Rolling Stone is extremely intriguing, and that is greatly utilized.
Why are we seeing this random mission? What is up with this rock? And it unfolds very naturally.
I don't know why people dislike it so much.
I mean, maybe? It doesn't really give us specifics on his shoes, so we can't really tell unless we base it off how they look, and most sneakers look alike. Plus the only colors we see are black & white.
>Araki drew a panel that could beat this
>is the manga better
Of course it yes, why do you even ask ?
Anime is good, sure, but nothing compares to the manga.
I want to buy one of his kicks.
I feel like Sleeping Slaves would be better if we got more arcs like it. We don't get to know Fugo long enough and it would be a good breather from all the Giorno dicksucking literally every fucking arc has
The gang was never allowed to really interact after Bruno fought King Crimson
>published at Weekly Shonen Jump
Shonen is not a genre, it's a demographic. Just because most people assume shonen to be only The Big 3 and Dragon Ball doesn't mean that is all shonen has to offer.
Not him but what are some good shonen you guys read?
Sumire 16-sai, Angel Densetsu and Kyou kara Ore wa are pretty good. Shonen has changed, I'm not really reading any new shonen recently.
2,5, and 6 are objectively the best. Araki really hit his peak with his writing and characterisation, being animated won't do them justice.
What is Rohan's best outfit and why is it pic related?
90's baggy pants tucked in shirt Rohan is a close second but this is best.
Good taste, I wonder why David fucked it up so bad.
Rohan's outfits are all great tho.
>mfw the anime ver of this outfit
I wasn't a fan of every single one of Rohan's outfits being white in the color manga and I really like how most of his clothes were different colors in the anime but this one should've stayed white
There's only, like, 2 or 3 people working on it right now, so it's taking some time. It hasn't been finished before now in all these years because the bad scans scared so many people away/made so many people hate it that no one wanted to take up that job.
But, the JJCA has a tendency to hoard the scans for a bit, then dump a ton of them, so we might get a bunch soon-ish, if what I saw one of them post in a discord channel I'm in is right.
>was running around screaming and crying
>suddenly grows some balls and mans the fuck up for no reason
>also for no reason, inherits the murderous intent from a gay priest's brother
Can we talk about the amazing healing factors the Jojo characters have?
>Gyro gets his ear blown off
>it magically heals back to normal the next chapter
>Josuke takes a bomb blast at point blank and has wooden poles lodged in his upper body and legs
>he just walks it off
>no bandages or anything later on and even his clothes just regenerate back to normal
>Jotaro gets stabbed in his stomach
>doesn't even feel it a few minutes later
>Johnny gets shot in the head and is somehow still alive
>Mista/Trish gets punched through his/her chest
>he/she doesn't die from it, Mista is only slightly bleeding at most
>a bunch of sewing needles popped out of Doppio's face
>literally a page later his face is fine
>the razor blades that cut up his throat seemed to barely affect him as well
>even ripping a scissor out of his throat had little effect on him
>Emporio, a child, gets shot right after getting electrocuted several times
>is A-OK a few chapters later
Post potential stand names
>John Wesley Harding
>Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
When's Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan coming?
why did they adapt the worst one instead of OYSTERS?
What the fuck is wrong with you?
>thicc muscular upper body
reimi is prettiest anime character i have ever seen, not even joking
Not liking traps makes you gayer than liking traps
What? You're going to kinkshame me?
This is Speed King he rides the stand short bus
Say something nice about him
I'm going to kill myself tonight.
Before I used to look forward to things like new Jojo or new games but now those aren't even working.
I'm just glad I got to see 2 of my favorite parts get animated. It was fun sperging out with you faggots.
Josuke loves you anon, don't do it. Live to see the end of JJL at least.
>not staying alive just to watch the final season of Samurai Jack
That's what I'm doing
I asked something similar in the last thread, but I'm still kinda confused. Does the series get better after the second volume? I was told that as soon as Jojo got out of America it'd be better, but he's in Mexico and it's still pretty bad. The fight scenes and poses are so exaggerated that I can't tell what the fuck is happening, and Jojo is still a little shit but now he's a nearly omnipotent little shit (how the fuck did he tie like, 18 grenades, to some guy's cloak in less than a second? Why the fuck was he carrying around a shot glass in case of eye lazers?). I've heard that the third volume is really great, is it worth it to keep moving on?
>it gets better at Stardust Crusaders
It literally doesn't. The first half of it sucks and the battles are boring.. In fact, a lot the battles in Part 3 fucking suck, especially most of the Jotaro battles. It's just Jotaro pulling some bullshit or punching harder than the opponent.
The World was probably drawn like that to show how much of a threat he was, a common way for an artist to emphasize that something is a Fucking Problem is to make it bigger than it realistically is
>inb4 "nuh uh Araki is a shit artist" fags
I've been away for a while so I only just read the chapter now. Fucking Araki had to ruin speed king, isn't he
I think it's a great looking panel. In fact I think most of part 7 is great looking
Holy shit, gorgeous desu
I like the art but why must he only draw one facial expression
I've gotten used to Araki's 'sameface' (everyone looks different once you actually look at it) but this cover as nuce as it is really shows how intense it got lol.
JJL's done a good job of getting out of it.
Araki is a genuinely good artist. He's always been a genuinely good artist, which is why it's so nice to see him get better. I hate it when people who take a required art class in high school think that they have a high horse to get up on and say stupid bait shit like "x art sucks" when they can't even draw a straight line with a fucking ruler
Rereading it brings me the greatest joy.
>boring fights (Gappy running around for 100 pages yawn)
>villains are forgettable
>the stands are mediocre at best
>story sucks and the mystery aspect is weak
To be fair, it's very hard to communicate varying facial features in manga because they have to draw the same characters over and over and if they have something very particular about their face you run the risk of making them a characture of themselves. American comics do it too.
As for the open mouth thing, blame the fashion poses he uses. Slightly parted lips are a standard supermodel face
I think Araki is a good artist but I hate this kind of shitty logic.
>how DARE YOU say Fairy Tale is bad, come back when you get your Masters in fine art, nerd
>you aren't even a chef, how DARE YOU say this meal is shit
Being a mangaka, especially for a weekly shonen is suffering. It's surprising as is that Araki came out of it a better artist instead of degrading to shit like Kubo and Kishimoto
The motherfucker went over 10 years with only a couple hours/days of free time and somehow got better drawing that much, never even burning out until Part 5
I don't wanna be that guy but I'm getting aroung to making a pixiv account so I'm gonna need sauce.
I don't really mean it like that, but I do see your point. You don't need to be a artist to understand aesthetics, that is true.
I just can't stand people who think they can give prentitious rants about certain artstyles sucking while not putting in five minutes of effort to actually research what their scoffing about. I honest to god prefer someone saying "pt 3's artstyle sucks because I don't like it" than someone saying the same thing but like they're somehow smarter than you because they vaguely remember things in their art class in middle school.
>steel ball run colored was good
Maybe the last quarter.
Yeah, I know colored scans are a meme but honestly I can't tell what the fuck is going on half the time in black and white. I find myself much more involved reading the colored versions, I guess I'm just
you guys are making me excited for part 8, figuring out what the fuck is supposed to be going on in any given panel of jojo has been a constant struggle for me at times often flipping back and forth between pages numerous times
Remember the time the Dino Diego slammed into a wall
>not wanting to have the best experience possible when being engrossed in a series
>thinking those scans are acceptable at all past jokes
I want 25 (you)s with attached cutes on my desk by tomorrow morning!
Only Duwang is unintentionally funny and that one is actually the most accurate to the source material
It's probably fully possible to experience Part 4 with Duwang, though still recommended you read a serious translation
or watch the anime
I'd go as far as to say fuck the Part 1/2 manga and leave it for a reread and start with the adaptation instead. Earlier parts desperately need more life to them to enjoy than later parts. Once you get to 3/4 you can choose either though I still think the SC anime has an edge.
Shinobu is best
What I need is more than 36 (You)s that who have sinned, because those who have sinned harbor a strong power within.
That's when Heaven will come.
Anyone else feel like this ended in a cop out? Gappy was put into a no win situation and the villain just loses because zombie Gappy was followed off-screen. Villain didn't even really lose. Basically pure luck.
If I didn't see the spoilers, I would have lost my shit once I saw Gappy get possessed.
Is Diavolo the original Isekai protagonist?
most JoJo fights have some logic to a last minute reversal. Even though she knew something was happening, she didn't know what it was and no real action was taken to get her back to Gappy. It just happens. Maybe I need to reread it.
Who the fuck would go out in public with this lazily designed bag?
could diavlo beat dio
he could just tear off dio's head from his body
>Had a completely useless stand in combat (all he got from it was an old computer he was able to take from the prison)
>Watched the only friends he ever had, all of whom had incredibly powerful stands, die instantly
>It's unreasonable that he be scared
>It's also unreasonable that in spite of his fear, he has the resolve to try a final desperate act where he's able to be the instrument of Weather and Jolyne's will
What's your problem
Jojo anime merch is pretty bad all around.
>gang backstorys are information that Polnareff digging on them, cos he interested if they worthy the arrow or not
Fuck, based Polnareff
