I know it doesn't, but Dragon Box is digital format which has digitized audio at whooping fucking bitrate of 96 so it sounds like crap.

That's why I want broadcast audio for everything so we won't be stuck with the Dragon Box shit.

Dragon Boxes are also still the best as far as visual quality goes for DB and GT since they were never remastered like Kai, they just need color correction to be done to offset the yellow-green tint from faded film.

Heck, Boo Saga Kai was remastered inhouse by Toei and their remastering was lazier and cheaper than the outsourced one that was done for first season of Kai. As such Toei's Boo Saga Kai actually still had the green tint.
But this group called Baaro which did most of the episodes were color correcting each episode to remove the tint and the colors looked extremely good in their releases. So the Dragon Box footage is definitely salvageable as far as colors go.

Past a certain point no matter how strong you are you will still have to face the limitations of your own world.
No matter how fast you can become, you'll never travel faster than light, that's why Goku's tele is still OP.
Your punches still won't hit past a certain strength for that same reason, your ki blasts will only get bigger and not denser unless you want to create black holes.
At this point power levels are really just like health bars and the real factor is technique and experience, or whatever gimmick you happen to posses.

Same logic would be needed to apply to DB and DBZ but obviously it's something that has to be done per-episode and you can't just use universal setting for all of them since older eps (DB especially) aged worse and need more correction.

I can handle the plot holes.
I can handle the story being made up as it goes along.
I can handle the lazy writing and pointless retcons.
I can handle the overall poor animation and stylistic choices.
But I would really prefer it if they would slow it down a notch. Memes aside, a large part of what made of what DB great for me are the long, quiet pauses between lines during something like the showdown with Cell. It's ridiculous how in Super (and a lot of recent anime) the makers really feel the need to fill every single second with either dialogue or ill-fitted background music.

Watch the Trunks vs Frieza episode. Even disregarding the context it's one of the coolest and most badass 20 minutes of anime ever. Most of it is dialogue, and the BGM makes up for a total around 2 and a half minutes of the episode, but it's more memorable than anything Super put out.

Shit is basically like a western. They know what they were pushing for because they had a bit of film culture, unlike most of today's people in the anime industry. DBZ had to pan the manga so it could catch up, but they did so in the most tasteful and consistent way, and the pacing almost never disappoints.
