So yeah, lotta people saying Trunks killing Zamasu is BS by the power scaling. Here's why it's not.

1: Zamasu was not Immortal anymore. Because he fused with Black, his immortality tanked and became high speed regeneration with a limit. Zamasu had just been on the wrong end of a Vegito style Ass Whuppin. This would have pushed his healing factor to it's limit, or near it, as well as using up a lot of his power.

2: Zamasu had Hulked out. We know from the Cell Saga that this is a bad idea and slows you down significantly. Vegito even comments on this. Hulked out Zamasu would be much easier to avoid hits from, and he had his power drained significantly after Vegito was done with him.

3: He had the power from the entire world. But more importantly, from Goku and Vegeta. Just like the Kid Buu killing Spirit Bomb, 99% of the power came from Vegeta and Goku/han.

4: Ki Blades of all kinds are pretty crazy. Krillin's Destructo Disk is able to cut through opponents far stronger than him. Trunks' Sword at this point was a basically a Lightsaber at this point, and Lightsabers can cut through squishy Zamasu. Or block other Lightsabers.

So this leaves Zamasu as a weakened and slow enemy without his trademark immortality, facing a speedy and relatively uninjured Trunks, powered by the entire world plus Goku and Vegeta, with a lightsaber.

BT3 was a third game in a series, Tenkaichi 1 has much smaller roster and considerably more clunky mechanics than Tenkaichi 3.

This does exactly what I see a lot of things do lately; make the combat seem faster and more fluid by just speeding up the action in ways that aren't consistent with the rest of the battles. It always bothers me to see a cartoon or anime alike to just suddenly speed everything up awkwardly.

The reason the CGI shader isn't used ingame is because CGI wasn't made by Dimps, check the credits. It was outsourced to some CG company.

Vegetto ended up being a letdown but Trunks ended up saving it. It's nice to have someone other than Goku defeating the villain and having all the ningen putting their hopes and spirit into Trunks was a nice contrast to Zamasu's self-serving nature. Episode looked great too.

It's just a damn shame they didn't keep Vegetto fused for a few comedic slice of life episodes - we could have had one where Vegetto is stressed to spend time with both Bulma and Chi Chi, an episode where Vegetto and Gotenks train together, etc. So many missed opportunities for a stupid retcon
