Which Bankai did you like the most and why? Also should we have a Incarnate dump on thursday as there's a break?
criminal how it was "le stolen" then never even utilized though, fucking kubo
out of all the bankai (besides yoruichi'e psuedo bankai cat girl form and ichibei's) it felt like there was a connection behind it that linked to what was suppuse to he the purpose of an hell realm.
i'm thinking of it like the soul king was, in kubo's makeshift rendition, the christian god of bleach while bach was his son(jesus) and the shinigami were like fallen angels that sealed him and torn apart his body, though that adds a bit of greek mythos to it(the olympians sealing up kronos) with weapons crafted by the crafter among them(the 0 squad captain) it's sort of hard to explain unless you know the stories yourself but i feel like bleach is a combination of these things, though purposely vague
This sums up the essence of Bleach.
It looks really cool, achieves nothing and goes nowhere.
How the fuck did Isshin know how to do this? Did he ever lose his powers before meeting Masaki and if yes how did he get them back? Why didn't he go that mode against Aizen or use his fucking bankai? Why didn't Urahara use his bankai and Yoruichi her cat form? What the hell man
Reminder that everything is according to plan, and not hack writing
It' ok to admit that Kubo's writing is too intellectual for you
Doesn't change the fact that he wanted to see himself as the new tyrant though.
Still makes no sense that Isshin is the only Shinigami who can do this besides Ichigo.
Eh, knowing=/=having, there's nothing to show that Isshin had that kind of power. I personaly believe that Final Getsuga form was Ichigo's Letzt Stil. I mean, he even regains his powers just like Ishida did after losing his.
It pisses me off that we didn't get to see Shinji's and Shuuheis bankais. Shinji is my favourite character and Shuuhei's bankai was hyped by Kubo way before the ending was announced.
I actually liked the joke of not showing shuhei's after hyping it so much, but Shinji would have deserved to take a Quincy down with his bankai.
I'm actually really furious. He's the ultimate jobber, and when Urahara said that Hollows are poison to Quincies, I thought it was finally time for my boy and the Vizards to shine. Boy was I wrong, not only did Kubo not delve deeper into the Quincy/Hollow relationship, the Vizards did not even get a chance to use their masks and hollow powers. Shinji deserved to at least take down one of the top tier Sternritters, FUCK KUBO.
Keep your shippingshit to the other thread
To showcase the change in how SS operates with Shunsui taking TWO vice captains.
It also makes Shunsui represent both old and new with his choice.
>>What's the point of these guys existing?
have any of you guys realized that almost all of the relevant characters deaths/losses of SS were due to their own actions instead of the quincies?
>ukitake died because he released the right hand
>unohana died to kenpachi
>komamura turned himself into a dog
the only exception here being yamamoto, which could also somewhat be attributed to his own fault of not letting his arm be healed.
sasakibe is barely a character so he doesnt count
meanwhile, the quincies have never really killed off any of them despite everything
Worst part is that Rose and Kensei actually did die. Gremmy murdered them.
Giselle brought them back as zombies. Did Mayuri find some way to bring zombies back to life? And wasn't it established that dead zombies were weaker than living zombies?
I'm not sure Kira actually died like Rose and Kensei. Mayuri turned him into a cyborg somehow.
No, Mask mortally wounded them, but Isane managed to save them. Gremmy killed them while they were in a coma.
why aren't there more figures of bleach waifus?
I like the fact it actually has drawbacks and the concept of going from an assassination tool to a genocide weapon of mass destruction.
her shikai could heal her enemies so she could have fun with them for not dying to fast
to add some more to my point, look at what the quincies have actually done to themselves
>pepe attacked and controlled the other sternritter
>pepe in turn got eaten by liltoto
>nanana was killed off by bazz
>gremmy effectively killed himself
>bambietta got zombified by gissele
>cang-du,BG9 and bazz were killed by hashbrown
>ishida and hashbrown fought each other
>liltoto, gissele, N guy, gerard and hashbrown got done in by ywach
12 guys, which is almost half of the entire group, effectively killed themselves. of course, not counting the others ambiguous fate
>was lile killed by kira or ywach
>did the power and lightning girls die to liltoto and byakuya respectively, or by ywach
if those counted, then more than half done themselves in.
The only connection that's certain is that they're homophones, which would be fucking silly. But maybe the Bankai lets her do creepy biological-warfare type shit related to the creature the Shikai summons? It wouldn't be any sillier than Ashisogi Jizo's only real connection being poison, just in reverse.
The precise mechanism could be damn near anything.
Kensei and Rose were 100% dead. The only way they could possibly be alive again is Orihime related bullshit, which is the single worst thing about her as a character.
Once she became the healbot most fights lost any sense of consequence.
guys directly killed by SS:
>quilge by grimmjow
>roar, question, yourself by kenpachi
>overkill(and yourself) by yama
>superstar by renji
>fear by rukia
>wind by shutara
>left hand by mayuri
>askin by grimmjow
The announcement better fucking be the anime returning
Bleach's adaption had alot of problems but the voice effects for hollows, reitsu visual effects, and soundtrack were all fucking great and made it worth it. Last season had some good animation as well and since its over and they can properly pace this shit it good actually be pretty god damn good aside from the problems that the manga had with fights being generally shit
A nice big databook with new art would be real good too
and a fucking video game
I remember early Bleach, Rukia and Gin had a lot of doujins.
I would say Kami shini no yari, because I thought it was a spear sword that grow and shrink 500 times the speed of sound and was it 3 or 5km long? But Kubo trolled and it's just a fucking Aizen poison. So Hisagi's unseen gem takes the cake.
Rukia's, it looks the coolest.
Hers is most likely way stronger than theirs, what with the whole absolute zero thing. Also, I doubt either of them have mastered their bankai, that's probably why Iba feels like a captain in name only, and Isane has always been a weakling, she only needs to be able to heal.
She'll feel fine since she's getting the shit fucked out of her by Renji.
>3 Ice based Zanpaktou if Itegumo is one going by it's name
>multiple members who probably don't even have bankai
>No Yama or Aizen to kick that measuring stick way the fuck up.
I'd say so
I'm guessing her Bankai is the reverse of her Shikai. You go into the belly of her Shikai and it heals you, but the bankai is a corrosive acid. It seems to act like Riders reality marble as it draws both opponent and user into it. It'll also explain why Aizen never fucked with her. What tripped me out was that it seemed to harm to her as well?
Am I crazy for thinking Vizards > Captains? The only (original)captains that outmach them would be Byakuya because plot, Kenpachi, Shunsui, and Yamamoto. I don't play the power levels game often, but this is how it always came off to me. If you wish to count Gin as a captain, then he's probably stronger than all of them too.
Byakuya's bankai will always be there best and the most beautiful to me and to everyone on the planet.
Gin's bankai was also a favourite of mine even though it was amplified shikai.
The absolute worst bankai in bleach is easily Soi Fon's. A fucking missile for a stealth specialist that also sucked.
>Gin's bankai was also a favourite of mine even though it was amplified shikai.
It wasn't. Its true ability is completely unique and can basically fuck everyone up as long as the sword pierces you.
Do Shinigami even cum? Why would they have the ability to create life when they are fucking dead?? Was it ever confirmed that they fuck or have babies in Soul Society?
>it's just an Aizen poison
>3 or 5 km long
>shrinks and grows at 500 times the speed of sound
Try 13km speedreader kun. Even if that was a lie, anything over a km is broken as hell. Also 500 times the speed of sound, do you know how fucking ridiculous that is? If you did you'd know that it being even 400 times or 5 times would be amazingly broken if for nothing else the kinetic energy of it. Kinetic energy is 1/2m(v^2). Even at just 100 times the speed of sound (34,000 m/s), the sword extending is at least 160 times more kinetic energy than a .50BMG round shot out of a Barrett M82 (853 m/s muzzle velocity), and that's only assuming the bullet's 42g mass isn't less than the mass than the part of the sword hitting you, which it doesn't. It also effectively instantaneously accelerates to that speed, so you can only imagine what it'd do at point blank..
But your problem is that the Bankai can leave a poison that is strong enough to disintegrate a transcendent being? Not only can it wreck whatever it hits, but it's almost guaranteed to kill them if it hits center of mass, and he's got the control to make that shard of poison happen at the center of your body in a slash.
He for all intensive purposes was strong enough to kill Aizen if he didn't have the Hyougoku at that level, and no one else was at the time.
Then again, we're on /a/ and you probably will try to call bullshit on a simple equation for kinetic energy which is basic midlle school,
And before you ask: It only took me 10 minutes to do this
all while eating a burger. Murican education for the win. Suck it third world swine
So what? it shrinks and grows
>A fucking missile for a stealth specialist that also sucked
She was matched against someone who could AGE MAGIC for starters, and the missile is a logical Two Hit Kill to One Hit Kill progression. The wasp theme is continued, and I think Western audiences have always overemphasized the "Stealth" aspect when that was always more of a figurative translation than a literal one. The characters actually mean something more like "Secret Maneuvers". They do assassinations and policework in a secretive manner, not necessarily in a stealthy one.
Soi Fon's Bankai works pretty well for me, but your proverbial mileage may vary.
a have a million things i either dont understand or dont remember about the shinigami. when their soul comes from earth, do they remember who they are? do they just start off at the age they were when they died? what happens to the shinigami when they die?
There are multiple libling characters, implying the same parents, but the only people we know of with kids are:
-Isshin, who fucked a human.
-Iba's mom, who we never see, but it was stated she was a captain.
Also, biological siblings implying parents
-Omaeda and his sister
-Yoruichi and Yushiro
-Ganju and Kuukaku
-Kiyone and Isane
-The two kids at the beginning of the last arc whose names I literally can't remember; Yuki something and his sister.
Oh, shit, I forgot, Byakuya has a father, too.
They can fuck, they can have babies.
Shinigami, or Soul Society residents in general, are not exclusively dead people, but also newborn souls (that's how you get Royal Houses etc.).
Same goes for Living World people - some of them are reincarnated souls from Soul Society, not always brand new, freshly made souls.
It's all a cycle.
The old lady yelling at Rose is Iba's mom, she was his vice captain.
The badass dude with glasses is father of Sentarou, one of Ukitake's third seats.
Behind Byakuya's grandpa is Byakuya's dad.
Unohana's vice captain is Hanataro's older brother.
I really enjoyed Renjis normal and upgraded bankai's
They had a good theme and even those his upgraded didn't have much spot light i think it could of lead to some cool fights.
Are you fucking serious.
I also forgot, Yoruichis' vice capatain is Omaeda's dad. We've also seen somewhere the entire family, including mom and three more siblings to Omaeda, all ugly except youngest sister.
It took a war to allow Vaizards back and the fact that they didn't want to kill Gotei (and vice versa) helped.
Can't say that about Hollows.
Vizards were Shinigami first and foremost. Arrancars are hollows. It would be contradictory for their sworn enemies to become part of them. I'm not actually against the idea but the Gotei is too far up their own ass to allow something like this.
>even though it was amplified shikai
Nothing wrong with that.
You'd think they would've let them back into Soul Society after the whole Aizen thing was over, maybe tell 'em they're sorry for wrongfully banishing them at least. Then again I could see Urahara preferring to live in the human world.
Hiyori did use hers but it's probably just her saying "fuck that" to the rules established. Can't blame her, preserving pride over getting fucked up is stupid, although she did get fucked up nonetheless.
Well even then, there's not any incentive to working with SS.
From what's seen, most of them just want to fight, in which they can do so in Hueco Mundo themselves.
Also, isn't the Gotei 13 main role is to protect/combat hollows? Quincies are just a unique enemy that are also theirs, but otherwise the arrancars don't have a reason to kill other hollows(and if they do/want, they can do so in Hueco Mundo as I said).
They ARE part-shinigami, same as vizards are part-shinigami, part something else. In the grand scheme what the fuck does it matter so long as they do their job?
To the Central 46 and most "normal" shinigami though, it'd be absolutely not okay.
Not, they are in no capacity anything else than Hollows.
Arrancar are just "awakened" Hollows. They just mimic Shinigami (or rather Shinigami mimicked Arrancars by creating Zanpaktou).
Vaizards were forcibly merged with Hollow aspect.
If you think about it, Gin's bankai is really one of a kind in the Bleach universe. As far as I know, every bankai is a logical evolution from their shikai, except for Gin which goes from a sword that extends to being poison-based. Is there no correlation or am I missing something?
Ichirukifags,give me your best fanfiction
I will credit Kubo for giving us the histrionics on how all zanpakuto are forged and created that part actually worked and made sense and was interesting. He could have just left it as it's magic bro
>8 days until Ichiruki confirmed
It will be glorious, I can't wait to see you Ichihime and Renruki fags eat shit.
Please anon, we all know Rukia is going to end up with Orihime.
In the end Ishida "bankai" could take any Shinigami bankai anytime.
>Kiyone and Isane
They most likely aren't blood related. They are probably one of the many makeshift families in the Rukongai.
>The two kids at the beginning of the last arc whose names I literally can't remember; Yuki something and his sister.
They aren't siblings. But Yuki is the younger brother of Renji's fanboy.
>I kill you now
>nope, Antithesis, now the damage is returned to you
>nope, Balance, the misfortune is handed to you
>nope, Antithesis, the misfortune is redirected to you
>nope, Balance, the misfortune is redirected to you
How wer they not trapped in a loop by the point Yhwach called on Auswahlen?
I bet the special announcement is that the anime is returning, but Pierrot and Jump had the special condition of Kubo promising to make Ichiruki canon.
>Orikasa: "I want to yell 'Bankai!' (laughs) When Rukia finally got a Bankai in the manga, Nii-sama (Kuchiki Byakuya)'s VA Okiayu Ryuutarou texted me 'Congratulations'. So I definitely want to shout 'Bankai' in the anime."
Haschwalth's damage cap was much higher than Uryuu's and he can double the amount first. Haschwalth was about to kill Uryuu, when Yhwach struck him.
Though I wonder why Haschwalth didn't turn into a skeleton. Maybe the theory that he actually slipped into a coma like Katagiri is true.
To show how much better the original sword was.
The ending is utter shit.
Bleach most likely got axed.
I mean second last chapter begins with a ten year time skip when we were not 100% sure Yhwach was dead and at the end of the prior chapter.
Also the big announcement will be the continuation of the show and the Bleach GX manga after that.
Eh his new swords sucked. His best was his original bankai sword but shikai zangetsu was better than the new ones anyway. I understood why Kubo destroyed his new bankai sword immediately
Why would they axe it then make a new name that is literally just bleach again. It may be the anime's return. Then again it could be the announcement of another fucking musical. The current musical ended its run on Friday.
I wish there was actually a cool fight between Ichigo, Aizen, and Yhwach. Kubo spent more time on giant guy and owl man than the final fight.
There's no denying it at this point.
The only reason they're claiming it's ending is so Kubo can save face as a mangaka and hopefully get a job somewhere else after this shitfest. Jump canned his ass so fucking hard.
Since when were you under the impression that the Aizen ride ever ended?
That depends what Yhwach means by "see", if it's seeing with his actual eyes or thinking. Zaraki was still capable of thinking while under the effect of Tousen's bankai. It's probably the latter since Yhwach mistook an actual vision for a dream. Then again, since his eyes do that weird thing maybe privating him of his sight works nonetheless.
Just because japan has shit taste doesn't mean that every cancelled mango is a masterpiece. Things can be both shit and cancelled. Those two qualities are not mutually exclusive.
Now that the dust is finally going to settle, can we all agree that the Quincies have a god tier fashion sense(especially Hashbrowns)
It's a pity that Ishida never commented on the uniforms. He always talked aabout how he wanted to modernize them.
More importantly, he always had an irrational hatred of buttons, so it would have been funny if after he showed his true colors he ripped off all the buttons from his uniform or something.
Everyone was reading the last couple of chapters all wrong. Ywach is actually Ichigo, Ichigo is actually Aizen, Aizen is actually Ywach. It's just that everyone, icluding the reader, is under Aizen's illusions.
>Captains and shinigamis are not aging.
>they will look pretty young hundred of years
>Ichigo is still aging
>will die in human form
>in the end, his sould will go to soul society
Is he still a shinigami then when he dies?
Will his appearance be that one of one old man or will he be the same Ichigo we know since "shinigamis don't age"?
He won't be a shinigami directly, but will have the option to become one like anyone else. The point is that he will look the way he did when he died. If he dies young, he'll be young there too.
If he dies of old age I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be an old fart when he enters Soul Society. He should kill himself right now so that he can be of utmost use to the seiretei.
What is the likelihood of Tatsuki being in the final chapter?
>yfw Ichigo and Orihime don't even show up in the last chapter
Very low. I'd imagine Kubo will focus on Ichigo, Orihime and Ishida (+SS). We may get a shot of the dads/family/friends though. Just can't imagine him "wasting" pages on them actually interacting.
But his "soul" is already that of one shinigami.
Thus, he (his soul) wields the same capabilities as a regular shinigami and thus should not be aging as well. His soul is not like a regular one
>and thus should not be aging as well.
When Yamamoto made the Gotei 13, he was a man looking like he's 40/50 in the current timeline he looked like 100+. They do age. All of 'em. Just super slow.
His powers came from a poorly developed universe that allowed for more freedom. Like how in one of the One Piece prototype chapters, there's just a dude who is a magic user.
Ditto with the two kids at the store. I don't think we ever got stories on them or where their powers come from.
People like to shit on Chad a lot, but at that point he was VC level. By Hueco Mundo, he was around Captain level, and by the Quincy arc he was even stronger.
Chad is strong, it's just that he keeps jobbing against really strong opponents or not getting on-screen fights. I'd put him above Ikkaku and most VCs.
>Since the last chapter will obviously be focused on the real world
Didn't Kyoraku say something about Ichigo possibly not being able to return to the real world?
I'm not saying we won't see the real world in the next chapter but with the cliffhanger at the end of the last chapter it doesn't seem too unlikely that the next chapter will be focused entirely on SS too
>This talent of Ishida's was never ever mentioned not even once after this
Kubo should just fucking kill himself.
He was Bankai Renji's sparring partner and took out a Privaron Espada with little effort, while all the VCs struggles with Fracciones. I agree that he's still not as strong as a Captain, it's why I said around.
Today is the last day of the anniversary spawn in the, how is everyone's 5* pool looking now? Also was pleased to 5/5 4* Rukia's and get academy Rukia and Nel as well.
What the hell am I supposed to do with 3 Starks?
Got back to the game recently, it works for me again after the update of RootCloak (I don't want to keep downloading new hacked apk every time it updates).
Nothing special, but I'm happy for my 4* Kimono Rukia
Bankai Special Ability: While the power of the true Tensa Zangetsu is currently unknown, a Soul King-empowered Yhwach considered it dangerous enough to necessitate immediately breaking Ichigo's Bankai following its activation during their battle.
What's Ichigos bankai?
Guys need some help opened a thread but it got 404'd
>inb4 stupid, this is a known song
>inb4 this is not the correct board
Dead serious, Did I just hear in the female gymnastic in the Olympics one of the espada's theme from bleach?
Can someone help here?
As far as I know all the ost's are ( as their names ) original and made for the show
Started this JP account shortly before the anniversary began, it's been pretty good to me. Saving orbs for the swimsuit gacha now
kinda like a shikai with a hollow mask
Still I'm sad he didn't got a quincy or hollowquincygami form
This event I got both Mayuris, SE Ulquiorra, Stark, all 3 Yamamotos, Gin, blue Byakuya, past Kira and green Ishida
Since I got Harribel and FH Ichigo in the past gachas, I'm really happy with my roster. I wish I got Aizen and Isshin, though
Can somebody explain this to me? Rukia just told Ichigo that they're celebrating the game's 1 year anniversary, and then Ichigo is asking what?
Is it a Japanese pun on anniversary that doesn't properly translate, and Ichigo is asking if they're already married?
Don't worry, IchiHime and RenRuki were already confirmed. The last two chapters are an alternate future that doesn't count. Kubo called it "A Perfect Ending" and he made it clear through Mayuri that "Perfect is not GoOD".
>Theorically yes, but he has to stay actually alive for it to work. Pretty sure Yamamoto would simply roast him to death before he even gets the chance to use it for instance.
Not likely. Fake Yhwach lived long enough to apologize for dying. Ishida should have a higher power level than him and would transfer the damage back, killing Yamamoto.
Kubo probably added the shield at the last minute. Before he ran out of time, Haschwalth and Ishida probably would have had a longer battle, and Haschwalth's Balance might have been limited to shifting the fortunes of the battle instead of completely reflecting all damage done to himself.
>Ishida should have a higher power level than him
Even with an ability as OP as the Antithesis, you still need to be conscious enough to willingly activate it. If you die instantly, I don't see a way of getting back from that. Yhwach is somewhat excused since he can change the future. He could have rewrote it just as he knew he was about to kick the bucket.
>So can we all agree that Turn Back the Pendulum was the high point of the series?
Not the high point, but definitely the last good point before it got irredeemably bad. The rest of the Arrancar arc was terrible.
i really digged the rojuro bankai, too bad the fat fuck could destroy his eardrums
The ultimate troll would be if the big announcement was that Brave Souls was adding Blood War arc characters, and they made another OP feautring them, but no anime announcement
They are adding the rest of fake karakura characters. 5 star Shunsui, Ukitake and Toshiro coming soon (already in jp).
Only major missing characters are Barragan (shown in a preview), Wonderweiss, super vizard Tousen, and maybe Yammy. Maybe a new Yoruichi, too, I guess. Then it's Mugetsu Ichigo and Butterflaizen.
The only bankai that wasn't a fucking disappointment after SS Arc besides Mayuri's
1- Ishida is immune to Auswahlen, and I think Haschwalth said he couldn't see Ishida clearly with the Almighty
2- The arrow cancels Ywatch's powers. Therefore, he can NEVER see himself getting arrow'd, becuase there is no instance of an event where he's both getting arrow'd and being able to use the Almighty. It's a radar jammer.
Karin became bitter, but stayed relatively normal since she is a mature and well-adjusted girl. Yuzu on the other hand went of the deep end and became a Yandere obsessed with getting her brother back.
It was implied to have been deactivated at that point. Not saying it was 100% sure, but even I have my doubts about Aizen still controlling it when he had just been swallowed whole by Ywhach's black hole of doom.
I would reroll for Blood War characters.
>Kirge, Bambi, As Nodt, Bazz, Liltotto, Gigi (what kind of gameplay would it be?), Askin, Gremmy (lol), Haschwalth, Uber Ywatch, Lille, shikai Yachiru, bankai Kenny, murdermom Unohana, Bankai Yamamoto, bankai Shunsui...
Oh god I need it so hard. Allmymoney.jpg
Most of the Bankais seen this arc are so boring because they sword barely changes and are not as big or flashy as they were, and instead focus on overpowered unavoidable insta-win abilities.
Those seem to be the most plausible theories on it so far. There's also the possibility that this was the future that Haschwalth showed to Yhwach, but he deliberately chose to ignore it due to thinking it was a dream.
>Rose had a nice bankai though, too bad he was a retard and jobbed like a bitch
An unbelievably bad example of "explaining your ability allows the opponent to beat it". At least when Shinji did it, he only told Aizen the obvious parts and left out the front-to-back reversal that he was hoping to trick Aizen with. Another example of explaining the ability but leaving out the most important details was Gin with his Bankai.
At that point Kubo still had a decent handling of the Arc. It was the same deal with the Arrancar Arc, he puts in place settings and characters that show promises, then goes balls to the walls as time passes by because he realizes he's a hack that can't make good use of all the things he established.
Once again, it wouldn't have been as big a deal if he'd have known about the regeneration ability. Permanent hearing loss would have at least given Kensei the edge against Mask even if Rose hadn't defeated him.
He fucked himself all the same by letting Ichigo live when he could have killed him with a slap on the cheek. A shonen villain has to make stupid mistakes somewhere along the line.
Where the fuck did this Ichigo go? What went so terribly wrong?
>that scene at 0:47
Those were fucking good times. I miss their interactions so much, shipping or not... Fuck you Kubo why do you hate Rukia fans so much? After the bankai you gave us fucking nothing.
I don't think Aizen was really imprisoned to begin with, he probably could have easily escaped but chose not to because he felt it was amusing to make the shinigami think otherwise while they fought the arrancars. That whole "impenetrable wall of fire" is bullshit to begin with anyway, it seems a little too OP when it's literally just a wall of fire.
Punching shit, all day erry day.
I think Sword Blacksmith should have done some kind of Unlimited Blade Works attack, or sword spirit fuckery, or a multi-bankai, or something like that.
The one hit kill sword was great, but he still had to "fight" normally for it to work.
>owning filthy filler characters
God tier: Shaman King treatment with Kubo being given unlimited time to develop the battles that happened between Juha being gangbanged by Ichigo and Aizen and the ending + animu + vidya that covers all the manga by CC2
Anime + databook
Meh tier: Shaman king treatment so that Kubo can actually finish
Nigger tier: Mobage shit + non cannon novel by Nisio Isin
>non cannon novel by Nisio Isin
If I learned anything this arc it's that Kubo has a much looser interpretation of the Bleach canon than we do.
>pocket worlds from Memories of Nobody
>Zanpakuto spirits from filler
>zombie-cyborg Kira from 13 BLADES
>If I learned anything this arc it's that Kubo has a much looser interpretation of the Bleach canon than we do.
so probably everything is quasi-canon except for the
It's more of a matter of primary vs secondary canon and where they may overlap. For example, nothing from the Bount arc overlaps with the manga so it's safe to say that the Bount arc is secondary only.
I'm still pissed as all hell that Kubo decided to throw Shunsui under the bus to make way for a piece of trash like Nanao. What's worse is he gave her a fucking flashback. Wasted chapters.
Friendly reminder that Dark Rukia is nopan.
I hope she gets released for Brave Souls.
It's rare for Movie characters from anime franchises to show up in videogames. Dragon Ball games are the biggest exception, movie villains get tons of love in those for some reason.
Shit taste and/ or poor reading comprehension detected. Neither Nanao not Shunsui would have been able to defeat Lille on their own; the teamwork between the captains and their lieuteneants is something that the Sternritter lacked and developed both of them as characters
>Developing a character that was never important in the first place with only 30-odd chapters to go was a dumb as fuck move on Kubo's part.
When did Kibo find out that he's going to get axed?
The thing is with characters like Nanao, Yachiru and Nemu, that they are so closely connected to their captains that developing them also developes the captains. I mean Nanao's flashback revealed more about Shunsui's past and the connection to the Bankai than about Nanao. And the god sword was a good idea. It could have been better introduced, but having a sword that disperses the powers of a god, when there is a god, whose powers and limbs were dispersed is logical. At least we can deduct how the Soul King ended up that way.
Most likely stronger than any individuel among them.
Remember that Yama shat on Yhwach some 1000 years prior to the story or so.
The thing with the yourself showed us that Yama back then did not even use the directional powers of his Bankai.
Yhwach designed for a thousand years the damn medal thingy just to get rid of Ryuujin Jakka.
Still greatest pure Shinigami Bankai.
Well if the things implied about it are true, he would have a chance.
Remember that him staying in that form basically endangered their entire world just from the passiv side effects.
Rukia's Bankai if you think about would have similar side effects.
Her staying in a 0K form would mean that she basically becoems a heat void zone and the universe tries to assume an equilibrium of temprature.
So she permanently draw in the heat energy in her surroundings and slowly voiding the space of it.
This is seriously insane and dangerous.
In that regard her Bankai fits more the claim of an ice or better non heat or mlecular movement opposite towards Yama's than Hitsugaia whose seems to be more something of an ice/moisture weather manipulation thing.
Or he did it on purpose to save both uryu and the shinigami from gerard.
Yhwach is the good guy.
He did develop Chad, a lot more than people give him credit for. The fact that he'd capped his potential after the Arrancar arc is probably the most overlooked development that most readers tend to miss, despite Ginjou stating it outright during the Fullbring arc.
He did. Right at the beginning. See to Kubo everyone deserves at least 1 flasback. After that they are developed and it's tme to develop anther tertiary character with a flashback.
Probably not. Either Yhwach didn't gave enough fucks to properly kill Giselle or Orihime did her healing magic. But I don't think we will find out what happened to the Quincy until a databook comes out. Or whether Harribel is still in the sex dungeon or if Nel managed to save those inside the Giftball or what happened to Kira vs Lille.
True, but the weapon alone didn't win the fight, that's the entire point. If Nanao alone could defeat Lille with the asspull sword, I'd consider it bad writing, but clearly that was not the case. Hate on the Mirror Sword all you want (personally I thought it was good for lore purposes, at the very least) but Shunsui was pivotal in achieving that victory.
What if Aizen's bankai's capacity is hiding away unresolved plot points along with the bankai itself?
My problem with Nanao is that Kubo made her look so pathetic. She's a lieutenant and she shat herself after getting cut, saying how she didn't know getting cut would hurt so bad. I don't know if that was Kubo telling us that this was her first time participating in a battle, but if that is the case then she has no business being in that kind of position.
>Ishida vs Toshiro
>Chad vs Soi Fon with Yoruichi coming in half way
>Ganjo, Hanataro, and Orihime being chased around Soul Society by the Vice Captain's while simultaneously trying to fend them off and run away
All of these fights would've legitimately been better than the garbage we got this arc fuck Kubo
She couldn't bind with an Asauchi so her only option was Kidou, that much had been obvious for a while. That Nanao would even attempt to face an opponent even stronger than Shunsui is a testament to her bravery- if you can't comprehend that on your own, then character development is wasted on you.
She was more a secretary than anything and had it solely because of shunsui. And yeah, she probably never was in battle because she only had an asauchi before and no true zanpakuto that may have been her first ever real battle with someone much trying to kill her who already fucked up her Captain.
Besides, most VCs are trash anyway. Most of the time only a shikai is required to become one. The level between VC and Captain is just ridiculous.
That's not the point, pay more attention and read my post again. I'm saying that the very fact she was terrified at the mere prospect of getting cut, and even commenting that she had no idea how bad a cut would hurt, speaks volumes of her inexperience in battle. She looked brave at the start, but after Barro's retaliation she became the most pitiful creature in the Gotei 13. She clearly didn't earn her rank.
>Rukia didn't earn her initial place in the 13th division either
Technically she didn't, but she also could have been made a seated officer immediately and wasn't due to Byakuya's interference.
>So the upside to Love and Kensei being alive is that there's no way Urahara and Yoruichi are dead.
Nel was shown going to save them. There was never even the slightest chance that they would be dead.
Who else uses Yhwach as their father figure?
HOLY FUCK LOOK AT THESE LEAKED PAGES FROM THE NEXT CHAPTER
Bleach is more about style than substance.
>He's the ultimate jobber
Anyone who wasn't a Shinji fag saw this coming a mile away. Shinji fags are depressing to look at.
I waited for Urahara's Bankai for what is probably years. I thought it was going to be something really over kill like his sword started to absorb the blood from the bodies of anyone within a certain radius or some ridiculous blood demon. I really was not expecting it to just be surgeon simulator.
Just realized that if the Yhwach theory is true then Rukia's happiest moment involves Renji being by her side and teasing her just like when they were kids. Ichigo isn't even in her happiest moment lmao.
what are brothers for
Holy fuck, if by a miracle the anime does comes back, can this be the opening or any song from Hello Sleepwalkers? They're really fitting the more I think about it cause they do Noragami's (Bleach with thought put in it) openings too.
