frame of the year
SHAFT does good work, but other studios also do good work.
The visual style would be very different, of course, but the source material could be done well in some other visually different way.
Very difficult to picture, though.
I really need to start watching the stuff after Monogatari S2 someday.

This shot was the most boner-inducing thing I've seen all year.
Not even frame of the episode m8
It's extremely difficult to imagine it in the hands of another studio due to its rather distinctive visual style and I don't think that would have been done elsewhere.
I think it probably would have been somewhat successful, but not to the levels it currently enjoys, I doubt we'd have as much of it animated.
This was probably my favorite part of the episode because Kanbaru, also this >>133860926
Is this the first time they've shown any of Yotsugi's skin, because that scene did seem unusually erotic.
That's actually a good question. So much of the creative direction behind it is very, very SHAFT and was basically improvised on their part for lack of descriptions from Nisio. Essentially the circumstances for how Monogatari came about looking/flowing like it does are pretty much thanks to SHAFT's situation at the time and probably would not have occurred if another studio did it.
When this series started in 2009 SHAFT was still essentially the obscure, funky little studio making everything on budgets of whatever crumbs of weed were left in Shinbo's tracksuit pockets and a couple McDonald's runs. Since the series was an instant hit it naturally made sense to try to fuck with its composition/design as little as possible hence it's somewhat of a time capsule, preserving the old quirky/hyper-budget SHAFT.
>lower back was shown in Tsuki
Damn, guess I gotta rewatch tsuki for like the fifth time then.
I've started marathoning this series last week and I must say, it's one of the best looking anime all time.
I don't even like harem and tsundere that much, but I'm loving the series and its atmosphere.
I mean, the animation itself is pretty average, but the art (especially the lighting) in the series is fantastic.
I think Monogatari is a perfect exemple that you don't need a high budge to make a good looking anime.
Not even that, I mean the art is great and all, but it's the directing that really makes it stand out. /a/ likes to shit on it for being too eccentric (I'll admit they overdo it sometimes), but it's really fun to watch regardless. Also, somebody post that pasta about fondling in monogatari and other harems.
>* [Aug 24, after midnight] Black Hanekawa brings Shinobu to cram school ruins.
>* They encounter the Rainy Devil. Shinobu heads for the park
Make one wonder how Shinobu ends up with all those scratches, yet Hanekawa only wakes up to find her feet are dirty.
It would be great if Nisio had Hanekawa fight some more, maybe he is afraid of her being too awesome?
I want to cut a hole at the end of her floppy sock, stick my dick in it and fuck her toes.
>but it's the directing that really makes it stand out
The general direction is pretty good too.
I started watching Bakemonogatari knowing that wouldn't probably like it, but I have a policy of giving a chance to every kind of anime, so I gave it a try.
I don't even like anime with too much talk, but the dialogues in Monogatari are surprisingly entertaining.
>being too eccentric
The characters behavior and discussions are a little bit different from the usual, but that's the "charm" of the whole thing.
I might try to animate that one too.
There is this one
Maybe you can do one without subs
I'm not sure who I would entrust it to as SHAFT fills out the many gaps in Nisio's writing.
We'd end up with a slightly prettier Ararararagi talking shit for a quarter of an hour as a static image.
Should could date Kaiki instead.
Rrrrrgi isn't dragged down by her horribly boring and annoying personality and she actualy get's interesing through the interactions with Kaiki.
Naw, I meant a smooth loop. The animation is too short to make it really smooth though. It kind of pulses as a result.
Nice job, but if you can, put the name of the episode in the metadata next time. I don't know what program you're using to make the webMs, but it's nice for when people ask source.
Cuuuuuuute girls doing strange things. Slower pacing. I really can't picture it.
Boring and generic.
...I don't even.
Explain the plot of Monogatari to someone who's been fapping to the doujins for years but finds summaries of the actual story completely incomprehensible.
Monsters are real because people believe in them. They manifest themselves out of real life mental hangups from people. A certain town in Japan is undergoing huge monster problems due to a certain uberpowerful vampiress having jumped there 400 years ago and obliterating the local object of worship.
>you are now imagining how modern KyoAni would approach Monogatari
>all K-on-like sameface
>violent events censored or nixed entirely, dialogue toned down
>settings look nice but generic for lack of description.. a school is a school. a playground is a playground, a bedroom is a bedroom etc.
>they'd perhaps try to cut off the connections between the arcs because they already knew they weren't going to commit to animating more than a 1-cour season or two, put in some anime-original villain / chars etc
It would suck.
>guy meets supernatural creature
>meets girls afflicted by other supernatural creatures
>gets rekt by supernatural creatures
>finds out girls have to get their shit together
>helps said girls save themselves by talking it through
>guy acquires harem
>puns, folklore and sexual tension ensue
Don't worry about it. Just keep masturbating to them.
>tfw a little girl will never put her legs on my face
The series is seeding groud for fap material as you already know. But the dynamics are quite simple, we have this high school boy which happens to find girls with super natural problems and being a vampire, but that's another hstory, he helps them. And one is his girlfriend and the others desire him, even the loli. People talk a lot and he once or more, i'm not sure brushed his sister teeth, if you know what i mean.
The plot is that supernatural shit won't leave Araragi alone in his final year of high school, after an encounter with a vampire that left him quasi-immortal. He solves the supernatural problems of various cute girls in his life, some of them are themselves supernatural beings, others are just humans. Through a weird mixture of charisma and outright bizarre behavior he gains a harem of these various human and non-human girls.
I want to take a bath with Shinobu
Who has the webm? I have yet to make one of that scene
I can see Gahara being ok with Hanekawa now, she has no choice with Shinobu, Kanbaru will go for Gahara during sex too so shes allowed and then Karen and Tsukihi will join in since they were already jealous of Gahara getting a piece of their onii-chan. Then Yotsugi will just be used as a sex doll when Araragi is all alone.
Hanekawa is the biggest threat to her hold on Araragi, I dunno if she'd be cool with letting her fuck him. Shinobu is the only one with a stronger claim on him, but their relationship isn't really comparable to something that can exist between two humans, so there's no point in her being jealous even if she knew the full extent of it.
After getting her confession rejected Hanekawa knows her place plus her relationship with Gahara has improved extensively since then.
I can see one of their pajama parties getting wild with Araragi thrown in the mix.
I see her friendship with Senjougahara as something she came up with to maintain her friendship with Araragi. After all, now that Senjougahara knows she has feelings for him, she'd be super suspicious of any time they spent together. An easy way to lower her suspicions and to let her keep associating with Araragi is to become Senjougahara's close friend.
Hanekawa actually threatened Senjougahara saying she'd ask him out if she didn't let him go at the start of Nise. I think the only reason Araragi shut her down was because of the circumstances they were in at that time. If she put on a tight dress with her tits hanging out and started flirting with RRRGI it'd be over.
Senjougahara actually fears Hanekawa's sex appeal. She knows she can't match it, and knows Araragi is actually weak enough to be seduced if Hanekawa comes on strong enough. That combined with her longer association with Araragi is why she's the biggest threat to Senjougahara's relationship with Araragi. For now, Cat is playing nice and keeping her mitts off Crab's boyfriend, but the power is entirely in Cat's hands if she decides to steal him.
can someone please tell me how the monkey bitch went from wanting araragi to die and even beating the shit out of him to her wanting him to take her virginity? what made her start being a slut for him?
Same thing happened to me with Nagato after the movie.
The second girl wins and Araragi becomes best bros with every other girl.
The Monkey's Paw manifested against her will. She did not actively hate him or want to kill him, but the fact remains she felt a kind of selfish, petty resentment that Araragi managed to save Senjougahara where she failed, and that he now had a relationship with her while she didn't. Had she not been cursed she could have just burried that resentment and pretended nothing was wrong, but because she had the monkey's paw it fed off that negative emotion and manifested as murderous intent.
>Senjougahara actually fears Hanekawa's sex appeal.
This is true. But she also knows the only way to beat her fears are to face them head on.
Yup, Cat knows she's nothing more than the occasional threesome buddy.
The paw grants desires by twisting them into malice. It made Kanbaru into a great athlete by crippling those better than her. Had nothing to do with "removing her inhibitions". It straight up twisted her desires into something malevolent. The same thing happened with Araragi. She resented him over the situation with Hitagi and wanted to be with her instead, the paw used that to try and kill Araragi. Araragi was both the object of her resentment and the obstacle to her relationship with Hitagi.
Outwardly she could easily pretend nothing was wrong and would never have to act on her inner feelings of resentment.
You're forgetting how the paw was used prior to this. Unless you're trying to say Kanbaru hated the other athletes and wanted to kill them secretly, the paw distorts her desires and makes them violent.
Shh Vampire loli is sleeping.
>It made Kanbaru into a great athlete by crippling those better than her. Had nothing to do with "removing her inhibitions".
She wanted revenge on the classmates who had teased her when she was still angry about losing her parents.
I think you're going to extreme. It's like a child wishing their parents would just die so they can do whatever they want. No one actually means it when confronted with the option to.
I don't think anybody is saying that. Probably the majority of people in the world have felt angry enough that they wanted someone to die at some point in life, but of course nobody ever acts on that because the majority of people aren't insane.
Probably in-between the style of S;G and Katanagatari
With the ambiance similar to Kara no Kyoukai.
Though it would be more focused on being cute and slower pacing.
More focused on gags and references (or something)
But SHAFT is still the best studio for Monogatari.
>Probably the majority of people in the world have felt angry enough that they wanted someone to die at some point in life
If you think this you have serious rage issues. The majority of people say things they do not mean. People have trouble thinking clearly when angry, so they can't articulate themselves properly. They lash out verbally, and just like when you lash out physically there's no real rhyme or reason behind it except to express your rage. There's no murderous intent, no desire to kill, there's only directionless fury. The words said don't convey any meaning except the anger of the speaker.
She does have murderous intent. Everyone does.
You also have sympathy and kindness and logic.
and the paw removed those things because they were preventing Kanbaru from acting.
You're still insisting that Kanbaru has a malicious, cold blooded personality, even though it's not anywhere evident in her behavior. If the paw only "removed her inhibitions" as you claim, it means that she's constantly seething with murderous rage and has a strong desire to kill and maim others.
That's not her personality at all though. She does get angry yes, but being angry is a far cry from deliberately harming other people. When you're angry you lash out, but stalking people and hospitalizing them is cold blooded behavior.
The Rainy Devil doesn't granted wishes in a twisted way like the famous Monkey's Paw. It really does grant desires, it's just looks into the user and sees the negative unconscious desire and grants that, so if Kanbaru went and beat up her classmates it was because she had a desire to beat up her classmates. And she did want to kill Araragi.
Being angry =/= trying to kill and cripple other people. Simple anger won't motivate you to do that. That has to be a facet of your personality to begin with, you have to be predisposed to violence.
What exactly is wrong with what I said?
If you can gain something by killing someone else it would only make sense to do it.
We just have layers of biological, sociological and cultural restrictions so we don't do whatever we want and try to not hurt the group and others in it.
Like all the others you make this immediate leap from anger to violence. Like that's a natural thing, to violently beat people until they are crippled or dead, just because you hate them. It's not. That's not a normal response to anger.
No, you're just an idiot. That sort of thing is animal instinct. People don't act on instinct and it of course is not acceptable to act on instinct because of all the things >>133868664 mentioned.
You're trying to make this way more simple than it really it is when we're talking about how basic human nature was formed.
I don't have murderous intent toward people around me. I don't think "gee it sure would be convenient if I didn't have empathy, then I could just murder and rape my way to happiness!" because I'm not fucking psychotic. I don't have a predisposition toward violence, I don't see violence as an acceptable solution to my problems, regardless of how I feel toward a person.
Sorry, but violently attacking people is not normal behavior. It's not a question of being held in check by empathy, normal people do not even consider attacking people. It's not something they have to run through their empathy check first, it never enters their mind. They don't think "Huh I could pay for this, or I could smash this guy's face into the counter and run, but I better not" because that's how a psychopath thinks.
Where the hell did I say I don't like my empathy?
I like being able to feel close to people. I like that I don't want to hurt other people and a part of me is firmly set against doing that.
If someone would come up to me and offer to take it away I would decline it without question.
I don't think violence is a solution to anything.
Neither does monkey.
But the paw changed that. It's that simple.
What sort of interaction would Kanbaru and Yotsugi have?
>Loves muscles, Kanbaru has plenty
>Loves cute girls, Yotsugi is plenty
>But the paw changed that.
Excatly, it created within her murderous feelings. This is what I've been saying the whole time. You people were saying it only removed inhibitions, but that implies she was already a murderous person. She's not. The paw made her one.
As do you, if you think it's a magical counterweight to your violent impulses. It's not. It's just your ability to connect with people. If the only thing holding your violence in check is the fact you connect with people, you're still a fucked up person for having those impulses in the first place.
Anyone have the webm of this scene?
I wouldn't mind making one, but if someone already has it then it would be easier
If you get to the point where you are considering murder you have gone beyond the point of unconscious, you are consciously considering violence. In this case if you have to come up with excuses not to kill somebody you're definitely not a normal person.
I think he thinks we're accusing monkey of being a bloodthirsty murderer when we're not.
She's just a girl with conflicting ambivalent feelings.
And a lot of self hate.
Impulses are easy to recognize, because you suddenly get an urge to do something. An urge to masturbate, to eat something, sometimes you get an urge to slap somebody if you're angry with them. These are all pretty normal urges.
The urge to beat somebody to a bloody pulp isn't. The urge to murder somebody isn't. In the first place, actually carrying these out requires you to go a step beyond impulse and into calculated violence. Anyone who seriously carries these things out has a cold blooded and psychotic personality.
We're not talking about crimes of passion here, we're talking about the desire to hunt down and kill somebody. Premeditated murder, cold blooded killing. That's what Kanbaru did to Araragi after her "inhibitions were removed". She didn't just lash out in anger, she methodically hunted and tried to kill him. If that was all 100% her own feelings, you're saying she's a bloodthirsty killer at heart.
Now you're just tacitly agreeing with me. Kanbaru had no real desire to kill or even attack Araragi. Because she's not a psychopath. The paw seized on her negative feelings and twisted them into a murderous intent that made her carry out an act of cold blooded aggression which was entirely alien to her personality.
Your not good at reading comprehension are you? If your thinking of something subconsciously your not actively thinking of it. The brain in its ordinary routines goes I THINK I SHOULD ROB THIS PLACE NO FUCK BAD IDEA DONT SEND TO THOUGHT PROCESSING. Then the whole idea is trashed before it actually gets thought about. Shit like empathy and fight or flight is handled in situations like that.
>The brain in its ordinary routines goes I THINK I SHOULD ROB THIS PLACE NO FUCK BAD IDEA DONT SEND TO THOUGHT PROCESSING.
Sorry but no. Ordinary people don't have the impulse to rob stores, only violent thugs do. My impulses are more along the lines of
>I'm hunger, get something to eat
>no not that, something tastier
>eat the sweets, do it
>go to the bathroom
>take your dick out
>save that pic even though you'll never look at it again
I don't have impulses for violent, criminal behavior. If you think all people do, that says more about you and your issues.
Your sidetrack has nothing to do with this discussion. If you keep insisting that the urge to assault and murder people is normal then I reiterate my suggestion to see a therapist.
>calls me an armchair psychologist
>while insisting like an edgy teenager that everybody wants to secretly commit crimes
Sorry kiddo, you're just fucked up. Normal people don't have impulses to harm others on a daily basis. There are three types of people in this world: those who would be good people even if there were no laws, and those who are only good because of the laws, and those who are bad regardless of the laws.
I'm of the first category. You're clearly the second.
I guess I'll refrain from using metaphors since it confuses you. Basically you are amoral and assume all people are like you. You chalk it up to "natural instincts" or whatever else to excuse yourself so you don't have to own your violent personality. Which is why you can say things like "all people secretly want to murder each other" with a straight face.
My entire point is that the brain will generally filter out stupid ideas and not send them off to get thought about. There is no urge to do something if before its thought about the whole notion is scrapped.
The whole i feel an impulse happens when this filter is broken which is where mentally unstable people come from. Their I SHOULDNT KILL THIS GUY filter is broken. The initial spark of thought still happens in everyone but most people have the proper subconscious filter to delete the whole thing before it goes anywhere.
How can anyone be this retarded? None of said we want to murder anyone. We're saying that all humans have that subconscious instinct. Everyone balks at it and doesn't do that BECAUSE we have morals.
It apparently doesn't count unless we never have that thought even enter our amygdala when we go though the initial friend/foe/mate response.
That anon >>133869619 sounds like he knows what he's talking about so I think we should listen to him.
See, there you go again, projecting your psychosis on everybody else so you don't have to be the only one. Well you're not the only one, but your kind are a minority.
If you have an instinct to murder somebody you're a naturally murderous person and that's all there is to it.
Murderous intent of the variety that makes you pursue somebody and try to kill them, i.e. coldblooded murder, is not something that can exist in a person unless they are already a murderous person.
That's what this whole discussion is about. Kanbaru didn't just suddenly attack, she stalked her victims and brutally beat them. That's coldblooded murder. You're suggesting that kind of desire exists in her, then extrapolated that "it's normal," implicitly stating all people harbor a desire to stalk and kill others like a psychopath.
If your brain doesn't generate violent solutions to problems on an instinctual level then it's not normal and they are aberrations. So which is it? Are people naturally violent or is violent behavior an aberration?
Holy shit. Nobody is saying that Kanbaru would do any of that if left to her own devices. If anything, Kanbaru is kind of a moralfag.
She was angry and felt like she wanted Araragi to "disappear." The paw manifested that with all the stalking and murder.
The more screen time Doll gets, the more I like her.
That phenomenon usually ends after the 3rd appearance, but in this case it's not stopping. She's jumped all the way from bottom tier in Nise to top 3 now.
That's what I've been saying the whole time, yet you and everybody else kept insisting she was already a murderer in her mind and the paw just took away her inhibitions and let her actually do it.
Everyone is saying that she wished for Araragi to die. Which you can't argue with, as that's what is literally said in the story. But she would not have acted on that without the paw.
> the paw just took away her inhibitions and let her actually do it.
Because thats what it did. It cut out the moral filters and caused her to act on the subconscious urges.
>Rachman's survey of healthy college students found that virtually all of them had intrusive thoughts from time to time, including impulses to violently attack, hit, harm or kill a person, small child, or animal
Now shut the fuck up and lets get back to posting cute vampires.
Kanbaru stalking Araragi wasn't part of planning to murder him, but in order to check up on him because of her wishing on the paw and fearing the result. Rainy Devil didn't need to stalk him.
They'd be the worst girl if they didn't have "I taught you math once and had parental issues like half of the other characters".
also since someone's probably going to complain
my university has some new dumb firewall thing that kills the internet if you try to torrent
I should fix that image though I don't remember it looking that shit.
That "wish" was a base emotional feeling, not a true contemplation of murder. She did not harbor true murderous intent sufficient to motivate her to kill a person.
>Because thats what it did.
It clearly did more than that, or you are calling Kanbaru a murderous person. To attack Araragi the way she did requires premeditation, in other words she had to mentally kill Araragi before actually doing it. To make it even more clear it would not be possible to attack him in that fashion without possessing a murderous intent sufficient to motivate her to the act of killing.
In scenario A, Kanbaru is not a murderous person and did not have a preexisting intent strong enough to motivate her to kill somebody, and the paw instilled this into her, which explains her actions.
In scenario B ( your scenario) Kanbaru already intended to kill Araragi and the paw merely pushed her into going through with it.
Are you somehow confusing Spooky and Math?
Your taste is honestly terrible, but then since you also posted a bait pic that makes you need to preemptively explain your whole life situation instead of just not posting it you might be retarded as well.
I had completely forgotten that Kanbaru was so crazy about Shinobu.
That would be because you have shit taste.
Both Hana and Owari are great.
This is like the lesbian virgin of gay jokes between straight friends or something. She's just fucking around and at this point, she and Ragi have discovered how bro-tier the other is and are basically best buds now that the whole Rainy Devil thing is through with.
Monogatari has some pretty fast paced directing.
KyoAni always has a more gentle slower pace so the slow story would be even slower.
Like Mushi but not episodic and more puns.
I don't have many from last episode, mostly just stuff other people posted.
That's so crude anon. She doesn't want to do something so vulgar.
>mfw she'll be straddling shinobu before the arc is done
Kanbaru is the hero anime deserves
Anon, that's a euphemism. It means she wants to get fucked by her.
Sure, the 男性と part doesn't apply, but it's what she meant.
That image implies that Ougi would try to convince Sodachi to dress up like Cat did. And then make her go with her threats.
I can't into nip so I'll just take your word for it.
>gave up 15 seconds in
Here's a webM of the same thing but it's 8x speed.
i never thought i would see someone do kumins dance better than kumin, i was wrong
I've been masturbating to Kanbaru nonstop since last week's episode. Especially that one where she rapes Crab. Fuck this should be illegal.
I was worried about the quality of this arc after last week's episode, but this episode was great.
>your waifu will never get a self sung OP
Damn you music contracts.
nigger are you for real? Say whatever else you want about the monogatari series, but it's clear to anyone with a brain that shaft's visual direction is a key part of the show's unique feel and what makes it interesting to watch despite its dialogue-heavy nature
>hmm I wonder how we could animate this passage where she says "eat me up"
>we could cover her in food to illustrate her line
>or we could make it into a blatant fanservice scene
What the fuck goes on at Shaft?
How the fuck is it even possible to be this autistic
So why does "eat (me) up" translate into "ask as many requests as you like" but couldn't possibly translate to "go ahead and fuck me because I know that's what you would ask for" even after Kanbaru directly offered to have sex with Araragi multiple times last episode?
How would that work though?
>in regard to the favours you ask
>I only have one thing to say
>eat me up
How does this turn into eat my ass up?
She's talking about Araragi asking her favours, how do those two link together?
And no, it's not by Araragi asking her the favour of eating her up because he wouldn't do that.
Don't get witty now.
>And no, it's not by Araragi asking her the favour of eating her up because he wouldn't do that.
Sometimes, when you're teasing someone, you exaggerate someone's characteristics and pretend as though those exaggerated characteristics are true. Here Kanbaru is exaggerating Araragi's horndog nature with the pretense that all he thinks of while near her is having sex with her. That's the joke. That's why she said the line.
>mfw Kanbaru is literally 2deep and complex of a character for anons to understand.
But "eat me" has been used in a sexual sense for ages in Japanese media.
It's not even a pun anymore. It's just slang at this point. No need to try to pretend it's some sort of witty joke.
It isn't. The bad thing is that they always go the extra mile for her, but never do the same for lolis.
Not that it's surprising in today's anime industry, but still a bad thing.
I don't understand. Why can't you just cover her in food and make it into a fanservice shot? She could basically be doing a Nyotaimori in this instead of the boring ribbons shot we actually got.
It's overused to the point of no longer being a joke. Acting like it is a joke would just look pathetic to their intended audience. Just let the fanservice be fanservice.
Is the only decent complaint about those shots in the thread.
Be careful about how you do it. You don't want to get punked on the counterattack.
Don't worry. Bullying Shinobu is my specialty.
Hammer's Ougi so touchable and great.
Also I translated a thing.
Read it if you want, or don't. Don't get the wrong the idea, it's not like I translated it for you or anything, /a/.
With all the in-series JJBA references recently I'm not sure how I forgot about this image until now.

>implying Suruga Drive or Test have shit on Valhallagatari.
I would tell you to go kill yourself but I just know you'd come back as an oddity powered by the collective shit taste of people who believe Suruga Drive is better than Valhallagatari.
>She wished to have Hitagi
You give Kanbaru too much credit. She didn't even wish for that. She just wanted to be back in the situation she was in during Middle School with Senjougahara.
She should have wished to be with Senjougahara. It would have been much less roundabout to what she wanted in the end.
What the hell are you looking at
I have no clue what this anime is about, but I am intrigued by the cat that apparently is from that anime (pic related)
Is this cat in this series?
So thats why I barely could find any porn of her
I saw that tongue twister on youtube which made me rockhard wanting to fap to her but I found almost nothing
Oh well mystery solved I guess
I really should make the webm versions, it just seems like a pain since I have many gifs
Katanagatari was better and Whitefox didn't bother stressing the visuals more than it was needed.
Nisio's stories are about content, which is quirky humour and wordplay, nothing that heavily requires the kind of directing Shinbo does.
Especially since it went downhill after the first series and now it's just being weird and flashy for the sake of being weird and flashy.
>an entire fucking month
Can't take this shit desu senpai
That's cute. I wont crush your delusions.
Holy shit if you were higher in the thread you'd probably be a meme by now, you fucking idiot
Do they reach my delusions of waking up every morning, saying good morning to my waifu, petting my daughterus heads, and making extra plates of breakfast for them? I didn't think so.
>Only having such basic delusions.
I bet you don't even attempt to comprehend the incomprehendable like why Oshino wears his Aloha shirts or why Gaen thought it would be a good idea to dress like a gangsta.
Get on my level, faggot.
Why doesn't Araragi just fuck every girl?? They all want his dick, so he might as well give it up. He had the perfect opportunity in Nise too
>Doing nothing Saturday because no "study session"
>Comes downstairs and talks to Tsukihi
>Ends up calling Sengoku to go over there
>He and Tsukihi fuck before he leaves
>Tsukihi is stuck cleaning up, is preparing to kill him when he gets back because of it
>Mararagi is on his way to Sengoku's when he sees Hachikuji
>Just flat out rapes Hamekuji, jokes during scene, of course
>Gets to Sengoku's and he delivers the dick
>She's just overjoyed to see her beloved Koyomioioniichan fucking her
>Mom gets home, rrrgi jumps out the window, leaving Sengoku a mess in her room (and a mess in her room)
>Calls Kanbaru about something I honestly forget what, I think he got bored again, understandable I would call my nearest lesbian that's hetro for me only too
>Phone shit happens, grandma happens
>Koyomi gets to her house and sees her laying naked all sad
>Just flat out fucks her
>Perks her right up and they go for round 2
>Somehow her room gets cleaned in the process
>Koyomi leaves only to run into Senjougahara
>I don't know, maybe he fucks her, this scene is up to debate
>The other stuff happens and he rushes home to see Karen
>That whole bed scene, bedroom scene, he doesn't do anything with cat just because at this point his boner is just completely killed
>Then he goes and takes a bath with Shinobu
>500 year old loli perks him right up
>They don't fuck though, he just promises her Mister Donuts
>I think next is the towel scene
>So that happens, his towel falls off, Hanekawa runs upstairs in shock
>Mararagi (made the joke but now it's a different word so it's a different joke) turns to Tsukihi like "Well?" and she threatens to cut it off
>Some other stuff happens after that and he decides he'll take the disease from Karen
>Obviously by fucking her
>The next day is just a threesome
I think it's good, at least
Sure you are, faggot. The only delusion you're having here is the delusion that you're more delusional than I am.
>What kind of fucked up delusion am I living in
The worst kind,
According to one large evolutionary psychology study, 91% of men and 84% percent of women have experienced vivid fantasies of killing someone; most of it was over some fairly trivial stuff. So yes, most people are murderous, but they will never act on it.
Who is to say we even live though? For all I know, you guys are just realistic viewpoints I'm holding at the same time regardless of how contradictory they are to what I consider my actual viewpoints.
Maybe I am just a faggot who wants to be last in line and be the thing that kills the Crab while mutually hating and loving lolis.
You will. However, translations are slower than molasses in the winter due to Nisio's writing style so you had better just go ahead and watch the anime if you want to experience the story before you die of old age. You can supplement your understanding with the novels as they get translated.
Shaft's adaptation is very faithful, plus most of the novels haven't been translated. Though, you really ought to read Kizumonogatari between Bake and Nise. It's been delayed for six years while the rest of the series has charged forward. We're finally getting a movie (part 1) this January.
Nice try Descartes, but I've already thought about your philosophies and I've decided that there's no use in doing anything other than treating my perceptions as reality with the caveat that they can be mistaken on occasion. I also don't think that every problem can be solved with the D.
But every problem can be solved with the D. What kind of reality do you live in when giving someone the D isn't the correct answer?
Since you and I are obviously not living in the same reality and I know I exist because as previously mentioned I am great. You must be in the wrong.
there's a better term for that
I like both but I think I prefer Suruga Drive too.
something about a sweaty tomboy being taken roughly in a cramped space gives me max overboners.
"Meshiagare" doesn't though. It's normally used when serving food up, but if it's a woman serving herself it's not specifically oral, just sex in general.
When it comes to Japanese, eating a woman means fucking her.
That part really translates quite well.
The only question I have is how is "Eat up" a response to a person asking a favor?
Should it be more like
"Can I ask something of you?"
"Take as much as you like!"
It isn't supposed to make sense. Pic related.
By implying his request would be something where "meshiagare" would make sense, she is talking dirty.
It's clearer in the book as the back and forth they left out before that bit was also along those lines.
What is the sudden influx of this facial expression in this season?
It appeals to me for some reason
Can someone please explain Ougi to me. In Ougi Formula she's introduced as a new student correct? Araragi doesn't know her at all, but isn't her first appearance in the arc where Shinobu and Araragi go back in time, at the very beginning? At least that's how I remember it. So does she have powers to make people forget her existence or what? Ougi is 2 spooky.
Not him, but it is obviously both.
Humans are biologically and cognitively capable of violence to the point where in certain situations violence is completely acceptable with little to no social repercussions (self-defense), and in many other situations it is ALWAYS acceptable to the individual committing violence regardless of social repercussions (self-preservation). Depending on the individual committing violence for the sake of others is also a factor. Depending on the culture the person belongs to violence may be acceptable for all kinds of things. An important note is that not all violence is physical, for example you have committed numerous acts of very benign violence against friends and family throughout your life through small scale power displays.
Ultimately what situations violence is acceptable in is learned behavior, "instinct" only plays a part in deciding what hard coded stimulus will trigger violent action.
An aberrant person is a person who is not naturally violent in a situation where violence is the only option to resolve a problem. What level of violence is necessary depends on the use of force continuum the individual has learned.
So answering your dumb "Are people naturally violent OR is violent behavior an aberration?" question the answer would be "naturally violent" and not just because humans are a part of nature, but because violence is a component of human nature. If it wasn't we wouldn't be talking about it because we wouldn't know what it is, in which case we wouldn't actually be what is considered human.
The scenes of Ougi in Kabuki and Oni were after Ougi Formula. Araragi was telling her what happened. The same thing is true for Shinobu Mail (but the conversation with Ougi is at an even later time).
Yeah, she and Ougi are climbing up the best girl list pretty fast. Could anyone upload the scene with the crane game and the "chopu" in webm? I can't for the life of me figure out how to overlay commie's subs on them.
If what I read in this thread is correct. Most of you guys like this show because "dull interesting dialogue and cute girls." You people are a disgrace.. man.. /a/ really is dying of cancer.
Okay, that makes sense then I guess. Thanks anons. I just always thought Ougi was the cause of all those arcs because of shit she said at the beginning of them to the characters involved.
