Dragon Maid, a surprisingly meaty cute girl show with how the characters interact. A programmer ends up having a dragon girl live with her and they eventually become a family after another dragon girl ends up with them. But the best part is how relatable a lot of the cast is. Also, KyoAni animation.
Rakugo (This has 2 seasons), a fantastic journey through the life of a man becoming the master of a dying art form. It's great, from the character development to the amazing cinematography throughout the show to the rakugo performances themselves.
Tsuki ga Kirei, a great middle school romance that doesn't use a lot the usual cliches that flood the genre. It shows both perspectives as well, which gives it a more balanced view of the relationship.
Little Witch Academia, Made in Abyss, and Tsurezure/Aho Girl are good, too, but I'd rate the three I listed higher than those. Little Witch Academia would be more fun to watch with friends than Rakugo though. Rakugo's more like something you watch with one or two other people that you know don't need flashy stuff to enjoy something.

Maybe something like Active Raid or GaoGaiGar? They're not directly sentai but they share a few thematic similarities, honestly your best bet is probably super robot shows.
