The rest is class specific.

Has there ever been anything in Shadowverse or Hearthstone as miserable as trying to deal with Forest in this meta? There is truly zero interaction. There is nothing you can do to stop their gameplan. Unlike Dshift (for example), they will always have Roach because they run three of them plus six cards that are designed solely to pull them.

Wards don't do anything because they just immediately remove them with Dance of Death or Will of the Forest. Their evolve card always gets max value even if nothing is on the board. Around turn seven or so, they can do 14+ damage even if their board was empty.

Ancient Elf is still the single best follower in the entire game and many classes STILL have no real answer to it without evolving.

Im glad everyone agrees roach alone is fine, its the tutor that puts it over the top.

If they were forced to use Lionel to get a 0 cost card it'd be a huge tempo loss but Feena has such a great stat line for her effect that it's often a tempo gain for them to play her on curve.

Feena and Gobu are part of what makes the deck as strong as it is but without the ability to tutor roach they're fairly innocuous and would only really be strong in take two. Roach just needs to be moved to 3 mana, that's it. Neuter the combo, neuter the draw, leave it as an alternate win con for wolfbolt, ptp, tempo, and Rose Queen.

It's fine. Compared to stuff like Roach, Bahamut, Genesis Dragon, Satan, etc.. it is actually good design for a late game card. No matter what, there is no way to win with Seraph the turn it is played. That alone makes it far more balanced and tolerable than the other combos in the game.

And I'd much rather take prepping into Seraph than going up against classes like Shadow, Dragon, and Sword that just send storm followers down your throat every turn until they win.

Them being controllable isn't a good thing. It's just less stupid than a purely RNG card. It's a problem because it ends up being way too strong. Tribunal is basically a 3PP instant kill a follower, which is usually 4 - 5 pp in cost. It also kills another thing when it runs out too, potentially taking out two massive threats. It is way too good for its cost so they tack on RNG to its effect to justify it. That is awful card design. Corpse is the same thing as is cards like the dragonnewt fist.

It'll just continue down the path of Hearthstone. There was a time in HS where Face Hunter was actually considered at least viable, and its turn seven or eight finishers was considered fast. Now, that's slow and the modern aggro decks destroy people in a couple of turns.

It'll be like that here too. Sword finishing you off around turn seven or eight in DE was considered fast and difficult to deal with. Decks are just gonna get faster and faster. Control will never be a thing because Dragon will always be the only Control deck worth running. The rest are just combo decks, which prevent control from mattering anyway.

Roach is a strong card and I can't see it being dropped from forest decks in the near future. Pure roachcraft though is a symptom of the current meta where Daria dominates. If Daria was gone and people were able to defend themselves with wards forest would have to run wolfcoming for the otk on turn 9 which is in line with other instant kill decks like dshift and seraph.

I don't usually concede because I've sometimes had players fuck up their BM-before-lethal royally. After he played 2 Flame Destroyers and 2 D-Shifts I thought they were done as he had to kill my Frontguard and its ward summon during it still and no more evolves.
At 18 health, I had an Odin and Fangblade in my hand and thought I could turn it around some how, but I didn't expect the third Flame Destroyer and D-Shift. I was gonna give them the finish for pulling it off, but they just went the whole mile.
