They don't spoil in storage.
Some items become more valuable when they hit the sweet spot stage before going to the spoiled stage.
Meat > Sour Meat > Spoiled Meat
Sour meat is worth much more than normal meat.
>17 hours played
>Randomly crash on a loading screen
>All of a sudden whenever I launch the game it crashes after the Capcom splash
>Tried reinstalling drivers
>Tried removing save file to see if it was causing the problem
>Tried running as admin
>Tried editing the config file to turn off fullscreen, vsync and lowering the resolution
>Tried deleting the config
Tried validating files twice
>Tried changing the hard drive I had it on
Literally nothing has worked. All I have left is to redownload a 20 gig game on my shit tier internet and if that doesn't work I'm fucked.
This is hell lads. I don't know what to do.
Which is better?
>Mystic Knight and Warrior Pawn
>Mystic Knight and Fighter Pawn
thank christ i got the gold idol second try
>get pissy with people at gran soren
>throw them with rocks
>suddenly a guard running to arrest me
>don't have option to fight back
>end up at prison
>trying to go back into title and load game back
>game autosave on prison
>can't hotkey the eternal ferrystone
How kind of foul sorcery is this?
>middle of the night
>an undead warrior, there master
It makes Pawns hover like autists.
The place you need it to be.
Is it actually possible to explore the map this much? In game it looks like there's way more fog that you can't get rid of.
Should I play on Normal or Hard on my first playthrough?
Your first portcrystal should be kept with you.
This way you can place it down whenever you want to return to the inn or whatever and then get right back to where you were and pick the portcrystal up again.
>you meant to run away from Death the first time you meet him, or at least it what everyone said
You are. You won't overcome his defense threshold until you have at least 1500 attack.
Death always OHKOs you. Also your level is irrelevant. Get good gear and/or good stats.
Screenshots are all I have left now that my game doesn't work.
Where do those screenshots get saved? Does it still use the social media bullshit to save those pics?
Or does it work the same way as normal steam screenshots? I've been using those so far.
What the fuck, guys, can someone help me out here?
I started the game off in my inventory with Ruminator's Monocle which can be sold for 312,000 gold and they're not even that amazing boost-wise.
Why did I have these in my inventory and why are they worth this much fucking gold? What's stopping me from selling them?
I just feel like this might break the game, I can just buy whatever fucking equipment I want for the rest of the game.
As someone with a lot of hours in DD, I put my crystals:
>One at the camp before the goblin fort
>One before the ruins where the griffin boss fight climax is
>one at the healing spring
>one at the overhang where you come out of the witch forest near cassardis
These were all great points that made continuous NG cycles so much faster.
Seeing as how I did like 200 NG cycles getting the auto dragonforge on equipment held.
Sorry to hear that, m8.
I set it to save in my picture folder so no.
all high versions of spells need more time to channel the second half, and pawns always go for that
more cast time means more chances of the pawn cancelling the cast to dodge a goblin or something
They really shouldn't have given those things right at the start. Maybe rather in postgame or somewhere. It just traps new players into making their pawns cosplay.
How do you feel about Dark Souls?
Cause I was getting oneshotted by basic goblins until level 15 on hard.
Basically the beginning and end of the game are more difficult on hard, but you grow fast as fuck.
Also hard doesn't increase enemy health so as long as you don't get hit it plays almost exactly like normal other than some extra trash mob spawns and your character runs out of stamina twice as fast, but that's what those 50k stamina recovery items you looted for literally no reason are for.
Capcom sucked a bunch of the budget out of DD for Resi 5 or 6 or something so there was a shittonne of content that wasn't able to be added. You were originally supposed to be able to go to the fucking moon.
Alright bros, I'm an Assassin, what do, Bow or Shield?
>I was just extremey unlucky getting the same shit like 10 times
Some of the rarer items in the Everfall only have 2% drop rates.
Get a load of this faggot who thinks he's important.
anon i seriously hope you scaled that down in photoshop or something. the newest component in my comp is the graphics card which was updated ~2 years ago, everything else is like 5-6 years old at this point and i can run the game at max settings in 1776x1000 just fine with a short bit of lag only when i alt-tab back over to it
Holy fuck Capcom why, why would you do this. The main texture for enchanted staff shots is the same as that annoying as fuck glow on enchanted weapons.
I just spent an hour trying to narrow down what arc file had it, and what part of the generic effects texture it used, and it just had to be the same one.
Oh well, at least I can fuck with the transparency of high anodyne's residual effect and the lanterns' glow without ruining other stuff
Well that didn't work. I guess model swapping is the only option, presuming it works.
DRAGON'S DOGMA II BOYS, STAY STRONG
IT WILL HAVE AN UNLIMITED BUDGET
I require more Street Fighter pawns
Anybody have a SF themed mage?
Good calls all around.
What should be my lax build? Shield in inventory for backup or Bow?
>Some of the rarer items in the Everfall only have 2% drop rates.
I know. I just never looted a single Panacea like 10 times before.
Almost contemplating cheating instead of grinding this out like I did on console. I just want those shadow gauntlets/greaves.
There's something about Selene's exposed nape and upper back that gets me. I don't know why, but that well sculpted pale back makes me diamonds, god damn.
>Almost contemplating cheating instead of grinding this out like I did on console.
Well, nothing's stopping you retards.
>I just want those shadow gauntlets/greaves
I got three pairs of gauntlets going through BBI 1.0. They're like the only thing that drops in Forsaken Cathedral.
Male and female models have different bones, so model swapping a whole outfit will probably not work. You'd probably have better luck slapping its textures on various parts of armor a female can wear that resemble the model. Still, worth a try both ways.
Yeah, MGSV was fantastic gameplay wise. It just suffered from cut content due to internal drama within Konami. At least Capcom is on an upward spiral right now, whereas Konami was at the downest of downward spirals.
Fingers crossed that Dragon's Dogma II happens in the next 5 years before Capcom becomes shit again.
Fuck yeah, you're back! More and more oldfags are returning. this is good.
i know someone did this
Fuck that page. Spoilers all over. Who even cares about this stupid mechanic.
If you have to link it for artists then put a spoiler warning or something for idiots like me.
The guide didn't feel like it was spoilers at all..except the farming section.
i use keyboard, it works fine for me though controller is recommended as the default skill keys are ctrl and alt (i changed to t and g and it works for me) and if you plan on playing a class with bows and melee, switching between bow/sword will take a little getting used to (hit q to switch rmb to aim, hold skill key then use and release mouse button or e to use skill)
its just more efficient with a controller but keyboard is perfectly viable
is it normal to have green items in your bank?
one is a pink robe, that gives you 30% resistance to all ailment, is that intended?
how can i roleplay my warrior holding a shield when she's wearing a pink robe that gives more stats than plates
This feels like that one Mario Party 6 minigame.
I would have picked him up way earlier, but he had nothing equipped then. I'll get him after Griggs.
i made a mistake, /ddg/. i went sorcerer with my pawn and i really wish i didn't, it kinda blows. i'm level 45, is it too late to make her into a warrior/ranger/strider thing? are the hybrid weapons good enough to justify it? thanks lads
Cap'n? I see Red there, if I remember her name right.
It's been a long time. I've mostly been playing and not reading the threads.
Who else is here?
like hell it will, they'll be too busy shitting out palette swaps for SF5 to care about DD2 and if they did, it'll just be a little side project at best that we wont get because fuck foreigners
Eh... yeah you can do it but you will have a subpar pawn. Pawns take to minmaxing a bit better than Arisens. Your pawn will have more balanced defenses for the trouble, so I guess less babysitting which isn't so bad.
Short of it, you goofed a lil' but it'll work out fine enough. Good training will still make your pawn a cut above most.
You got me!
That's Blue, though. Red's this big motherfucker.
It'll be a pleasure to have Lennox back in my party from time to time, that's for sure.
I think Effin and Saint are back, as well as a few of the Xbox guys.
Hey I'm not leveling up my char until the goddam pawn reward system is fixed. You can get ton of post-game gear in BBI just from looting the chests.
low levels with good gear means people won't have to swap them out for a good while
You can, but it's not like rents are working. :^)
Ranking are though, which is not even important.
me, had a pawn named i think xysil back in the day. dude made a good distraction fighter and was pretty good at keeping his health up if supplied with herbs
id check the legacy doc but he got phased out cause i stopped playing
Someone calls it out.
There's still a GameFAQs thread for it on PS3.
Yes, absolutely. Sorcery is great to have, as long as you can protect them to cast spells they basically drop nukes for you.
That said, you don't have to trip about it. If you want a melee/archer pawn go for it, just know you'll want hybrid weapons and maybe try and make their defenses a selling point (I.e. they can take care of themselves without needing reses).
she's red though. I remember him now.Saint said he'd be back some months ago. I haven't heard from him.
I'm kind of falling asleep here.
Robert Patterson has scary fans so it fits.
I've just been hiring everyone in the /vg/ group and gathering RC in BBI.
I got enough for the right make up color.
>SF5 coming out
>Capcom not throwing everyone in every department at it
seriously, they have a legal money printer with the SF series, they know they can trickle $5 palette swaps out and people will buy them all and make them way more money than a DD sequel would
then you add new
carbon copyfighters for $15 and that just makes even more money
i love DD and monster hunter, but i know that while those two might make a bit of money for capcom, i know full well that they're just back burner shit compared to street fighter. SF will always be their priority because it makes them the most money, both in game sales and dlc
>i love DD and monster hunter, but i know that while those two might make a bit of money for capcom, i know full well that they're just back burner shit compared to street fighter.
>SF making more money than MH
Jesus fuck man at least do your research.
>if the pawn system was working
>the renting system needs to work to brine your own Pawn and beat the game
I'm not saying you faggot-ass mustards aren't cheaters, but I think you owe me an apology.
I didn't think too clearly when that happened.
Should i go with this? Aiming for mystic knight
>accidentally fail Lost and Found at the beginning of the game
>15 hours later discover it's a requirement for six gorillion more quests involving the qt witch
Jesus Christ these fuckers are boss-tier for spellcasters.
>bought Brontide and Comestion just before switching to Sorcerer
>think I'm hot shit now
>go to pay these fuckers a visit
>comestion will knock them down but does lolnodamage
>they shrug off the burning
>it's okay, activate ZEUSMODE
>two brontide whips to the face
>doesn't. even. flinch.
>laugh my ass off
>pawn has quest knowledge for quests I haven't done yet
>has info on creatures I haven't fought yet
>can't see who hired my pawn and hire theirs back because system is fucked
Yeah it's a game breaker, it's kind of bullshit it's a fail quest for basically no reason.
I'm currently playing with Cheat Engine hopefully trying to find a way to tag the quest as completed.
>Trying to have a quiet time with the loli witch in my house
>3 pawns in full armor loitering about, chatting and breaking my boxes
>Throw them all off a cliff
>They land on an outcropping below and spend the next 10 minutes grunting and whining spoiling the mood
I feel like I'm doing something wrong
Most if not all of my / my pawn's gear is bought from the soren store at lvl 31
I barely find anything usable in chests / monster drops / whatever
Is that just how it goes? Where are my rare magical items for getting through dungeons?
Wait, what. I keep hearing about escorting Mercedes, is this the quest? Will I be missing out if I don't take it right away?
Pretty sure I'm not ready for it desu.
It's super easy. If you've been to the Shadowfort before (and you should have, by now) you'll already have a Portcrystal set up there. Just teleport to it and boom, you're done.
Man, I can't help it if the red caster stuff looked so stylish. It just kinda...happened.
Idk, I mean he hasn't really done anything wrong, he was just misguided by this cult douchebag right?
But he doesn't even seem slightly remorseful, he's just trying to buy his way out, he'll probably turn right back to them.
>mfw throw peoples pawns off cliffs to test damage
I wonder how many people will jump on the bandwagon of resizing textures to make them look better. With algorithms like NNEDI3 around, it's plausible they won't look too bad, either.
>Tfw soloing BBI v2 on hard as a slutty gypsy using barely any armor
Well, that was fun.
Fuck Garms and Drakes, seriously, fuck them.
I played through DD on console and remembered how much a pain in the ass it is to get past the bandits, so I decided to level up before doing the quest this time, I tried to go back to it and it was auto-failed.
No fucking way in hell am I just dumping 20 hours of play time to restart.
Can i change my difficulty to hardmode mid game? This shit's boring on normal
avoid devilfire cove/cave till later
best way to do the quest is to get a port crystal set up and just port over once you accept the quest, takes fucking forever to get there since guest npcs dont sprint and if you drop down cliffs, they go around (fighting whatever gets in their way)
>manage to kill one of those dudes by chasing him in a square spamming the sword thrust skill
>hit by an archer
>stunlocked to death by a dagger bandit while getting up
And that's when I figured out that yes, bandit bosses are annoying, but that's what pawns are for. You're for killing everyone else starting with range users and wolves if they show up and working your way up to anything that can take a hit while your pawns tank anything scarier than you are.
Course knowing how to take them on and not getting roflstomped by archers, wolves, or stamina consumption and then of course you have to kill the problem children and that's always easy to fuck up via over-extension.
Does your pawn only get refreshed for the pimping when you rest at inns? So I can go train my pawn as a fighter for instance till Sinew, but people won't see me messing around with her if I don't refresh her?
Most of the challenge of Hard comes before you hit level 30. If you're already deep in the game there won't be much difference.
so did anyone with the pirated version who switch to the steam version once it came out have performance problems? I have a gtx 970 and an amd fx 8100 and I could run the tutorial at 60fps. Now the game runs at 30 with the official steam version. Turning off the overlay seems to help, but i'm wondering if there is anything else I can do.
I want to play a sword and board type character, warrior is two handed and mystic knight has all kinds of wacky magic bullshit so should I just always stay a fighter?
Yes. If you're training your pawn/leveling them as a different vocation to get different stats, you can do so without resting at an in to "preserve" their copy in the Rift. Next time you rest, they'll be updated.
He can be avoided pretty easily.
Until you get to BBI and Firedrakes bitch slap you for 3k.
Does the crit from dark affinity stack with iraklis?
farm Soulflayer Canyon piles and chest.
otherwise unlock the good inventory stock with the gold idol.
however soulflayer is where its at if you want decent gear before following the main quest.
Started with Fighter till lvl 10, then switched to Warrior till 24. Doing the Watergod temple quest and getting fucked by the phantasm since I can't hurt it. Just learned that non-main pawn doesn't level up (level 6 Rook, fugggg :DDDDD)
Will switching to Magic Knight now fuck me up? Since my magic attack sucks atm. But I think I need a more flexible physical/magical damage mix for monsters like these.
That shit+the full retardation that is the equip menu+doused lanterns
Look game, I'm aware stopping to do the lantern light animation might not be the best idea in combat, but how about you take 2 seconds to figure out whether or not I AM in combat and if I'm not you relight my lantern automatically for me once I'm out of the water?
>just realized you auto fail Lost and Found after you do pawn guild everfall quest even if you never talk to the chief
im saving escort quest till NG+, both reynards and mercedes pissed me off, reynards cause even if you avoid the armored cyclops ambush you might run into a chimera and if you make it through one of them you have to deal with the skeleton version of the bandit leaders that skull fuck you.
mercedes cause i dropped down a cliff to cut corners near the witchwood entrance and she ran around right through a Skull Fuck Squad and got rekt
Same here, I wanted to hire a fellow oldfag's pawn to help him with RC. Best I could do was foe, quests and location knowledge. Which he could do by himself except for RC which can only be quickly obtained en masse by getting hires.
>see a giant sasquatch
>slowly but surely killing it with arrows from the safety of a ledge
>fucking pawn leaps off cliff to attack and gets crushed
>have to take the leap myself to save them and lose half my health
she's my waifu
>wolves and harpies immediately attack soon as I hit the ground
>fail "ambush" quest I had no idea I was even involved in
>not even listed under failed quests
saved my waifu
magic knight is about buffing yourself and yourself alone, mage buffs everyone (one at a time...)
and just experiment with classes. find one you like and level and keep in mind augments can be used as any class (once you buy them). each class has different stat growth though, like fighter gives you the highest defense while warrior gives hp, ranger-stamina etc.
There are plenty of quests you can miss like that
It's surprising how often the entire map has new quests for you
For example, I didn't know that you could come back to Cassardis and go down the well to get into the Saurian lair
Yeah I'm trying this atm.
Barely does any damage, but at least I look badass bunching a fucking rock in the ass.
I'm here, I'm just not posting, too busy playing.
What are some good skillsets for magik archer? I feel like my bow is kinda weak right now, I'm still kinda early in the game tho (like lvl 25 and vocation rank 6)
Yeah that's what I mean, but if I never chose to come back there (which I did for the traitor part of the thieves quest) I would never have known that there's an actual lair, rather than just a few saurians and bats
I dunno, like 80% of the quests you get in either Cassardis or Gran Soren, and the game usually straight-up tells you when unfinished quests are going to be abandoned. Lost and Found is the one time there's no warning, and you're still new, and it screws you over for the rest of the game.
Equip Magick Rebalancer as soon as you learn it and NEVER remove it. It boosts your defense and can stack, making it effectively a Demon's Periapt you can use on-demand. Also, the Rivet series of bow spells are remarkably good if you've got melee pawns in your party. You load the enemy with Rivets, your pawns hit them, they get triggered and they explode for lodes e damage.
Why doesn't anyone talk about the story or lore for this game?
I thought it was an rpg...
The absolute most OP setup is Sixfold, Ricochet Hunter, and Explosive Rivet, using the Dagger skill Magick Rebalancer. The other two daggers skills are whatever. Instant Reset should probably be one of them.
MA's stat growth is comparatively poor, and Magick Bows do comparatively little damage, however, once you start overcoming mob defense thresholds you'll see how gross MA's skills are.
>your pawn ain't shit
>the number of times your main pawn has been hired
Fuck man I'm doing the old saying "rift sluts make rift bucks." Does this shit not on PC? I'm seeing a lot more loli shit happening....do o have to make a loli to get some rift bux anons?
Do I miss out a lot if I don't use the online features?
I'm thinking about buying the game.
no need for mace when you can knee harpies in the face
Pawn hiring is fucking broken, dude. Has been since release. People could've hired your pawn plenty of times, but it won't show because something's wrong with the Rift servers.
My favourite thing about the story is the fact that it starts off looking a lot like a generic RPG story, but then you get further along and shit starts getting crazy, real fast.
Going for the old man look, most likely a Mystic Knight. Should I use a little lighter hair color?
you wont see the abomination pawns some players have made, thats about it
pawns can earn rift crystals when other players hire them, but thats apparently fucked right now but its nothing major
Valmiro is one of the better written characters in the game and the most underrated.
It's because most people who have never played it before haven't gotten to the good parts of the story where everything is explained and it's because people who have already beat it talked it to death years ago.
I hardly see
the duke selling the life of his beloved for immortality and the Arisen ascending to godhood and them an heroeing to break the cycleas "generic". Or even close. I think "generic" is a buzzword quasi-intellectuals throw around to sound cool.
There is no denying that the game's delivery is ...lackluster, though. But, I like it. It's matter-of-fact and not plated up by legitimate storytelling. I actually appreciate that.
support game fgt
does it really matter that much? you can still rent pawns/have your pawns rented, we just don't get RC or items for some bizarre reason
i've heard it should be fixed by monday, no sauce on that
ETA is "Fuck you round eyes PC we have your money."
Only they don't because nobody in their right mind will pay for a port of a years old console game whose only selling point is broken on launch.
magick mystic knight is a snooze
melee mystic knight is a better fighter with access to a staff for ranged and on the fly elemental enchants/ a sweet air dash combo thing
nig id have bought the game even if there was no online at all
>the two sorceror pawns i brought combine their spells and make a high maelstrom
>literally destroys 3 bars of his fucking health and leaves him with half of one left
jesus h christ
I don't understand the "story is shit" meme myself.
It's rather dry throughout the beginning and middle but I think the payoff is pretty great.
Grigori is a very well presented character and him being a failed Arisen is interesting. The whole cycle itself is very interesting and it's cool how it ties into the game, with everybody elses game just being a different link in the cycle. Julien and Mercedes are both interesting characters, albeit rather brief. Fighting yourself when you beat the game the firs time in NG+ is also fucking awesome.
I don't know what to say really.
I've never fought
myselfin NG+. It's always a random Pawn/Arisen combo, which I always took to represent the other links in the cycle, as you put it. Actually I'd find the idea of fight myselfpretty lame since the idea is that the Seneschal is the last successful Arisen.
Would this be viable?
Mystic Knight 50-100
Mainly I just wanted to combine Assassin and Mystic Knight.
>An heroeing to break the cycle
But that's not what happens at all? If you do NG+ offline you'll see that
your NG cycle Arisen is the Seneschal, and their pawn is at their side.
stab yourself with the Godsbane, you're consummating your ascension. If you kill yourself with the Godsbane OUTSIDE of that area, OR (story-wise) leave for BBI and never return, then you're breaking the cycle.
You fight yourself with the exact gear and look you had at the time you became the last successful arisen. It only works if you're in offline mode when you fight the seneschal, otherwise you get a random arisen of someone else from online. It makes sense.
>Want to do Selene side quests
>Alright this is going to be fun
>Can't do them because I didn't do Lost and Found at the beginning of the FUCKING game
>I'm already a million hours in the game
FUCK YOU FUCK YOU, THERE WAS NO FUCKING WARNING OF THIS SHIT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
>there was no warning
Bro, an NPC TELLS you about Quina being in the Wildwood as soon as you do your shit in the Encampment. She's a girl, lost, alone, in a fucking enchanted forest full of monsters.
stop caring about min/maxing.
just level up whatever class you want to have fun with.
if anything, just look for a class augment list and pick out what you need from each class.
>Would this be viable?
The answer is yes.
Nah I don't get it.
When you die, your conscienceless ends, and your Pawn is given your human form and sent back to "Earth". That effectively ends the cycle, because there's no more Seneschal to create new dragons and thun no dragons to create new Arisen.
it's not clear whether crapcom removed the models/textures for the gear or if they just removed the gear from the game.
If they just removed them from vendor lists and etc it should be very easy. if they completely took the gear assets out of the game files it's probably impossible.
I've heard that the stats/names/etc are still in-game, but the models/textures are not. If that's true it will probably never happen
unless someone finds a way to export the gear models/textures from the console versions and add them back in somehow . which is probably impossible
it doesn't matter
augments are important though, go look those up. would suggest you get sinew at the least, as it's borderline essential
Now that I'm done with character creator, I still can't play because of all the webms I have to stop and make.
WHO THE FUCK PLAYTESTED METAL GOLEMS. WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT HAVING A MEDALION IN THE SKY IS A GOOD IDEA?
That cunt aught to have been fired. I'm watching my strider hire do literally no fucking damage to it when she decides to shoot it and my mage hire is too retarded to try magic at it. WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF BS IS THIS?
>that effectively ends the cycle
No, it doesn't. Bestowal of Spirit happens over time, regardless of whether the Arisen
ascendsor not. Just look at the Dragonforged and The Fool. The Fool is literally a mirror image of the Dragonforged, albeit younger. The very same would happen to your pawn over time, if you continued living instead of becoming Seneschal.
that happened to me first time too, except he had grabbed a girl pawn and ran up a good ways so the fall was even longer.
what do you mean? you can hire pawns just fine. Rift crystals/gifts currently don't work though
There's already proof that the listing for the armor is still there but trying to cheat them in and use them crashes the game, must likely because they're missing models and textures and some other core files
Jump attack is enough to handle any flying enemy but this is 2 fucking golems high in the branch of a tree. What kind of dumb cunt came up with this. Literally every other medalion is on the ground. Did the dipshit think we could climb trees like enemies or something? Did they bring some outside guy in to design 1 enemy without telling him the finer details of how the game fucking works?
is there a way to like.. fucking save in this game?
i can't believe i'm being thrown back to the gates of the fucking place where i started my half an hour adventure in the wilderness and ended up getting oneshotted by a giant
not him but when you play for the first time witchwood is one of the most well hidden locations, unless you read the wiki you dont know how to get there.
99% of players will follow the main quest, get to gran soren, fuck up that quest in the pawn guild, then suddenly fuck you no more Quina.
Its the same shit with the golden idol and completing perfectly the escort quest.
The game doesnt mention that there is 3 different idols apart from caxton saying 'I dont care about the rarity' or something, which, again, doesnt tell you much.
Most people I guess will just go for the pawns guild quest that rewards you with the silver idol, thinking 'thats what I need'. Few people will actually go to fournival house right after taking caxton request, escort symone, and even fewere people will do it perfectly. Its just retarded.
Right now I'm having a problem with the witch hunt quest, I completed Come to Court and no one is talking about witches near the fountain.
I love the game but denying that they went too far with the multiple choices kind of playthrough isnt very objective.
Is... Is it socially acceptable to fall in love with a game, yet? Because that just happened. I love this game. I completely get it now. I understand why this is a cult classic. I just had my first, perfect dream encounter, where everything went according to plan all while being incredibly cinematic. I... I don't even want to green text the encounter, because the whole thing from start to finish was so much fun.
>Climbing up it's left side while my Fighter pawn climbs up it's right
>Stabbing it's neck together until it starts flailing around
>Jump off because I'm not sure what it's doing, pawn stays on him
>Grabs pawn off it's neck, Mage and I start pelting its hand with triple arrows and fireballs until I get exhausted (pic related)
>Gnaws on pawn's head, then slams it into the ground
>Fires a perfect, flaming, Full Bend straight into it's eye as it turns to face us squishies
>Sprint between it's legs while it's still rearing back with only a 3rd of a stamina bar left
>Revive fighter, fight continues as the 3 of us circle around it racking up our little mosquito bites
>Eventually climb back up it's back as the fighter runs in front of it as a distraction
>Climbing while hanging on for dear life as it flails around trying to hit our Fighter, dangerously close to falling off
>Deal the final blow in the nape of it's neck as the mage rains down fireballs and lightning
I feel like this wasn't even special. I feel like this was just a normal encounter with a cyclops, and that makes me so damn happy.

Calm your fucking tits mate. Anyone with ice magic and anyone with a bow can break that shit. You'd literally have to bring four Reds AND be too stupid to jump from the golemn to the amulet for the fight to be impossible.
Why do mustards hate menus so much? You retards spend all your time coding mods and installing mods, but you're too fucking retarded or lazy open one menu and save? You fucking deserve it.
I was fighting the golem in the bandit camp near bluemoon tower, and got multiple 'magic medallion x1' prompts on my screen when doing damage, but I cant find those anywhere in my inventory or my pawns.
I dont see them either in the stash. wat do ?
Man, I played through the game blind and I was able to complete the lost and found stuff on my first playthrough. A guy runs up to you and says "Come back to the village! Adaro needs to talk to you!", and then Adaro says "Quina has gone missing! She's in Witchwood! Oh no!". Then the quest marker shows you where to go. I don't see what the problem is with that.
Yes, damn shame it takes up a sword slot so you never have room for it.
If it were a shield skill it'd be a guaranteed slot.
When DDDA gets intense, it get's intense. Eventually cyclopses won't mean a damn thing to you, but by that point there will be something else that gives you the same challenge if you seek it.
The ride doesn't end until you're probably L120+ and have a full set of BBI gear. And even that depends on circumstance and your level of gud.
my favorite moment is the time i shot the devilfire grove drake out of the fucking sky with a charge shot to the chest
there was also that dragon/griffin/whatever fight at the top of a destroyed tower
>flying thing goes off to make a run at the tower
>find where he's gonna pass over
>charge up indomitable lash
>time it right as he flies over
>got so many hits on him
that was pretty cool too, but shooting the drake out of the sky tops everything ive done so far
I was fighting a ogre and climbing all over him when he stepped back over a ledge and fell several stories with me still attached to him. The fall killed him but didn't make a scratch on me and I leveled up as a result. That was pretty fucking cool.
problem is that the bandits utterly rape you this early unless you know how the mechanics work.
makes people think you should come back later which results in dozens of player failing quest.
bad game design, cant blame them.
So I meant to give Quina the Arisen's Bond but I didn't know she fucked off from the game after her quest. She had the pink glow last time I talked to her, how do I manage to keep her my beloved? Just fuck anyone else with a pink glow up?
If I have a ice sword and my pawn can enchant fire, does he not enchant fire if he knows with enough beast knowledge that my ice is better?
as in, does he recognize that I have an ice enchantment?
when you break the medallions on the golem they fall on the ground, its best to grab em straight up. My guess would be you ran over one of the ones you knocked off anon
sorry no anon, tried underclocking?
also geraldo is much improved by the riftbux eye colours/skin colours
Does Magick Archer benefit from strength boosting augments at all? What are some must have vocations for them?
I love climbing and fighting but Magick Archer looks way too fun so instead of Assassin im gunna check it out.
Medallions are immune to magic you shitcunt. Only MK can use magic on them because grand cannon is physical/magic. You also can't jump high enough to reach the tree, Webm yourself doing that jump and I'll paypal you $20 faggot.
I just got my hands on a bunch of weed and acid and its been like 12 years since ive done any drugs. So I was planning to sit down with this game and do a role play type run. But the problem is that my story only involves two Sister's venturing with sword and shield. So likewise I'll be playing 2 fighters and no other pawns. Will I get fucked or can I overcome shit with muh skill?
these escort quests are fucking stupid then
why give a quest to a level10 character to travel half the world while escorting an NPC? ehhh, i'll save you next playthrough mercedes-sama
>Does Magick Archer benefit from strength boosting augments at all?
Your bow attacks don't, but your dagger attacks do.
If you want to be a climbing MA, getting some strength is good, even if you use enchanted daggers.
>literally says save and quit
I WONDER I DIDN'T PRESS PRESS THAT WHEN I WANTED TO KEEP PLAYING
literally all the menus and the whole ui is so fucking unintuitive it seems like a bad joke
go ahead, get mad and defend it though
I'm trying to send that fucking baka down the hole, but she just won't go.
>pawn has been a fighter for almost 16 levels
>has been a warrior for about 4
>keep wanting to restart and min/max him
I know it's not a huge difference, but fuck. I can't help wanting to min/max.
Trying too hard. Here's your (You).
>literally says save and quit
Actually it literally says Save/Quit, meaning either or.
Also what's the worst that could happen if you clicked that? It saves and quits? It pays to just fucking press it and find out.
If you had, you'd see you get a sub menu with several options.
There's also a quicksave option from the pause menu.
You're a fucking retard anon, simple as that.
Interesting. Any other complaints?
Did the quest for Selene at the beginning of the game.
Now I returned some time later to let her brew some shit for me, but she isn't there? Why?
Did I fuck up somewhere or was it because it was daytime?
would you hire her?
inclinations are challenger/mitigator
feel free to take her for a spin if you like.
Still requires your mage to decide to cast it not on the golem but on the medallion and not try heal or climb the fucking thing itself. No fucking enemy has a physical damage only caveat why the fuck are there 2 that have it for magic 1 being impossible without it.
>GOD THIS IS WHY I HATE INDIANS
Anon, if you're going to hate Indians you need to prove you are at least a little smarter than them.
no your a speciel kind of retard for thinking it even matters. I don't give a fuck about your stupid personel problems.
minmaxing is pointless. it has been ever since DA was released, hell even before then it was only necessary for speed killing urdy.
>Still requires your mage to decide to cast it not on the golem but on the medallion
Which is where Pawn training comes into play.
>WE DON'T WANT CANCER IN THE GENERAL
If that were true all of the mustards would leave.
