Was the Wii motion plus worth it?
I use it for emulation, so I guess

Unless it doesn't require an additional purchase, are any Nintendo add ons ever worth it?
The only games worth that used that were red steel 2 and zelda ss

its better in every way and you are blind by nostalgia
>>378174281
The derainbowization of the observatory is the saddest thing I've ever seen in a video game.
>>378174281
Shit picture. The only thing that looks worse in the remake in those pictures is the moon.
Next time, start this thread with something they actually fucked up, like the Zora swimming and ice arrows.

http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/tim-cain-at-reboot-develop-2017-building-a-better-rpg-seven-mistakes-to-avoid.114809/
>Mistake #1 - Steep Learning Curves: Tim thinks character creation in Fallout, Arcanum and other RPGs was too complex. He's experimenting with creating a completely numberless character system that uses geometric shapes to visualize attributes.
>Mistake #2 - Letting Math Trump Psychology: Revealing the influence of the years he spent developing Wildstar, Tim wants to develop mechanics that are psychologically satisfying and addictive, even at the expense of mathematical elegance. For example, he says the player's first attack against an enemy should always hit even if his overall hit percentage is the same regardless, and that rather than allow players to increase their critical hit chance, they should only be allowed to increase their critical hit damage.
What happened?

SHAPES!
Tim Cain has always been gay.
>shapes to visualize attributes
We want the mentally retarded audience.
>Dude this unappealing, $1 indie game that I only played for 30 minutes tops is very refreshing and way better than actual quality video games
Why would he say this?
Because it's true?
>>378173207
Maybe it spread to his brain.

Only good thing was the secret Mario level.
I love it.
>Mirror's Edge parkour in a better open world than MEC had
>satisfying but very easy and unrealistic combat
>plot is utterly uninteresting but the characters are at least likable
>pretty lengthy game with tons of side content
>it's cheap now to get the complete edition
>The Following expac adds a shitton of new content
>lots of easter eggs that unlocks secret weapons and tools
>the whole game can be played with 4 player coop
>pvp is interesting
What's the best vidya you can play on GNU/Linux?
The best vidya in general, ie. NetHack
When I'm on linux I play: NetHack, Dwarf Fortress, Doom/Blood/ShadowWarrior/Duke/etc, the old Xcoms.
It also has factorio and zachatronics games if you're into that.
You can play Morrowind on linux
