Can we be objective about a monster hunter world for a second?
We dont know much, if anything about it yet. Here's what we know:
The good:
>Updated graphics
>Higher performance
>new monsters look cool so far
>retaining the addictive grind
>mainline game, with people onboard from MH 1-4
>all 14 weapons are in
>no underwater combat
The Debatable:
>drop in/drop out
>open world
>emphasis on terrain
The bad:

>its westernized apparently

I don't know. I think drop in/out might be alright. Depends on how it's handled but that's about as vague as it gets.

I loved using scan visor and reading logbooks and shit, I hope they add more chozo ruins and explore what happened to them.
And Metroid Prime 3 had some good lore, Skytown and Bryyo had interesting back stories, but separating them into worlds made them feel insignificant. The thing that made 1 and 2 great was you explored one civilization and that helped add to the story more.

I'm a fan of the lore but this really doesn't bother me. Metroid 2 and Super weren't lore heavy and they were great.

There's no evidence of this, but a guy could dream right. Like I said earlier, Metroid's atmosphere was always dark and ere. I could totally see FromSoftware being this "talented new development team".
