I'll wait until Paradox is done Jewing and they release all 50 DLC packs together in the Complete Edition Edition a few years from now. Maybe the game will be worth a replay by then.

It's okay. It's not great, but depending on your disposable income and lack of anything else to play it is okay.

It's strongest point is the actual concept in story: defying fate and what happens if the big bad is basically going to fucking win, and the resulting subversion

It has entirely unremarkable combat mechanics that remind one of oatmeal. It is easily digested and impossible to offend the sensibility of anyone, but it hardly impresses either.

the party members lack a single punchy "worth it" character. The closest you'll get is one inoffensive scribe who is trying to do a poor man's jolee bindo impression. They aren't shit, but they aren't anything to write home about.

That's honestly it. This game isn't bad, it isn't good, its an exercise in acceptable averages. If it'd been called Planescape: Tyranny we'd all be 0/10 shitting on it every single day, but since it was its own IP and we're all fucking starved for CRPG content it kind of just gets a 5/10 pass.
