Already have it, I want to buy another good SRPG. XCOM2 can't be the only good SRPG released recently, r-right?

Well there's Disgaea if you haven't played those already, have kinda aged poorly imo but still great games. There's also Valkyria Chronicles which is a great game.

It's the quintessential Steam game. Literally limitless content and you can play for 10k hours and not get bored. In fact, many have done exactly that. If you're not gonna get CS:S though, find files for it online. It's easy.

In short, get it you moron.

either way get the game for the extensive multiplayer and self made single player fun

The community is full of children after a shitload of YouTube channels found out the game existed and most of the good servers are dying out because many of the long time
players have moved on leaving pretty much nothing but TTT and DarkRP servers. At least that was what I saw about a year ago when I checked. This game is certainly past its prime (sorta like TF2) but I suppose you could do worse.

The point is better ease of tabbing out and multitasking compared to tabbing out of a fullscreen application. As to why they don't allow something like 1920*1000, probably because it wouldn't be a standard aspect ratio. You'd just have to make do with something like 1680*1050 at that point.
In any case, this is why the borderless windowed/borderless fullscreen -option is a great thing, as you get the best of both worlds, and is fortunately becoming more and more of a staple in modern games.

setting the correct aspect ratio is as simple as dividing the window width by the window height and using the number you get from that in your projection matrix instead of the standard 1.777777777778.
that way you automatically support whatever arbitrary game window dimensions your audience might feel like using
any game that doesn't do this is irredeemable trash.

if you want to improve, you need to practice

practice is the act of repeating a task until you become efficient at it, keep in mind this will take time, you wont become better after one hour

go to training, custom training and look at popular player made practices, I play through one every time before playing the game

if you just bought the game then don't bother doing this yet, these things are way too high level for you so right now you should just play the game and get familiar with things, but once you think you've hit a wall, start practicing
