What racing games have you been playing, lately, /v/?
Recently got into league. Dusk is really good, the first episode came out a few weeks ago. Other than that I've just been playing games on emulators. Ratchet and clank: going commando, Mario 64, and donkey Kong country mainly.
>>389818215
Which of those are "racing" games?
>>389818481
Fuck man my bad. I've been drinking. Free bumps I guess. To be honest the speeder race things in going commando aren't bad. Semi challenging at first.
Which MGS game or spinoff featured solid snake at his peak performance?
Likewise for big boss
Should MGS2 be played on ps2 emulator or the PC port?

Cool thread.
Fucking useless question.

>Maruo
>SJW
Nani the fuck? His cult is literally just full of hedonists.
Underrated or the most shittiest one dimensional antagonist Kojima has ever come up with?
I mean, what exactly did he do to earn any praise? Basically he exists so the game has some antagonistic force to put a face on, even though 90% of Kaz's dialogue is how hard is dick is at the thought of vengeance on Cipher.

He had an interesting past and motivation but all that parasites bullshit completely ruined the character.
what was the point of his plan again?
whats the current state of it?
>>389186557
Really good.
Ignore the fags who think that the Diablo games are only about the "endgame" of highest difficulty setting grinding the same areas over and over for incrementally stronger gear so that you can grind slightly more efficiently for incrementally stronger gear so that you can grind slightly more efficiently for incrementally stronger gear so that you can grind slightly more efficiently for incrementally stronger gear.
play d2 instead, fag

Complete and utter trainwreck.
Stay as far away as possible - Blizzard will shut the servers down soon since they can't turn a profit.
Tell me, /v/, if you can.
You have destroyed so much.
What is it exactly that you have created?
Can you name even one thing?
I thought not.

What was his endgame?

build eggmanland now fuck off back to the hold you crawled out of
Invent those blueprints
He´ll do it tomorrow for sure
dude just wants an amusement park in space
>speed running
>its actually a hacked version of the game and or running assist tools and allows you to literally cheat your way through
>but the times and records still count
Why does this allowed
>>389186041
>>but the times and records still count
In the TAS category only, you dumb cunt.
>>389186476
Arent the categories arbitrary?
>>389186535
No. For example, TAS is different from non-TAS.

Do you guys think someday we will see that beta of Mother 3?
>>389185617
I hope not. This looks really bad today. Worse than FF7 graphics, I can't.
GBA verison? give it 2 years
we got 1 eventually
>>389185617
Hopefully, I doubt it though. I'd like to see all the differences from the GBA version.

Here it shows quotes from people who suffered psychosis and how it was implemented in the game. As someone who suffered from PTSD induced Psychosis (and may still do but haven't had a very serious episode in years) I can try talk a bit more to the accuracy of how these hallucinations were portrayed in the game (as the ones that are relevant)
>"Everything seems to be coming closer and bigger"
When I had this effect, it's less how it's shown in the video and more like zoom effect, like you look at clouds on the horizon and clouds just start to sort of zoom larger and it feels like they are coming towards you but they aren't at the same time.
>"Everything is in bits like a photograph torn and put together again"
Completely Accurate, I described to people like the world turning into a mirror shattering.
>"Colours seem to be brighter, like they are luminous"
This is one of the most common ones I experienced, it's less like it is in the video and more like someone just turned saturation up to 100. Things also become very "High definition" as well, like super sharp. It's like a oversaturated/oversharpened Sweetfx plugin on your eyes honestly.
>Sometimes the world can appear like a Kaleidoscope, it's quite beautiful.
This isn't accurate really at all, it looks like everything becomes fractals actually, when I looked at clouds, they literally looked like giant expanding snowflakes. Trees and all the leaves looked like they were made from fractals.
>I often see wavyness and melting of walls.
Not accurate, in fact in Arma 3 when you run for too long and become dehydrated, the wavy effect you get is 100% on point to the point IRL I thought I was actually having an episode from it when it occurred in game for the first time. The most accurate video
https://youtu.be/ASKEtIjaElk?t=1m18s
The Tree and waterfall (and most of this video) is 100% on point.

One thing for me though the game did very accurately was "The dark".
I suffered from probably from when I was 15, the world would go dark like an eclipse was happening and I had an overwhelming sense of dread and terror overcome me. Walking down the street with 2 friends, suddenly everything went dark and I had to sprint several kilometers home and hid in my bedroom for hours because I felt like some God Hand Eclipse Bersek level shit was happening.
Overall the game is quite on point with the effects of severe mental illness, but not entirely accurate to how the effects look. Could be simulated better in a video game and often are indirectly by other games or visual plugins like SweetFX or the Arma example I gave.
Does anyone here know if you can get the trophy for playing through Yakuza Kiwami on Legend difficulty if you do it on New Game+?
>>389185501
Is Kiwami a prettier Yakuza 1 or did they change/add bonus stuff?
>>389185501
Try it and find out.
How long did it take you to beat it?
>>389185486
About 2 hours. Longer than it should have taken, it is really easy.
>>389185486
The first time? A couple days of playing on and off.
Getting a time under 3 minutes? Much, much longer than that.
Getting a time under TWO minutes? I'll get back to you, though I haven't attempted such in years.

First try cause I Got Gud
What are some games that taught you something?
When I was a kid, Ocarina of Time taught me that I should think. Because when you're 12 and you don't have a guide, you do need to think.
