i really want to like it, i like the aesthetic a lot (although they could have made enemies move jerkier like in software quake) but the combat is just kinda boring
then again i still haven't managed to get past the 3rd stage so maybe i just need to git gud but the weapons fucking suck, the ammo/reloading system is retarded and the health/shields thing is even worse
if they patch in a mode with traditional fps style pickups i'd probably like it a lot more

The problem of this series is that it's stale. One was interesting new territory for it's time. Second improved on it. By the time 3 came out it was a bit old and tired with no real changes to it's formula, then Last of Us and Uncharted 4 came out and I have no idea how people can still care about these games.
