I know this is a bait thread but for the record, I wonder why they even put a squiggle for his lips. It's an anime line of figures, none of those have paint on their lips, so why Robert Cop?

What was the first set you ever received, /toy/? Or, I guess a better question would be, what was the first set you remember getting?
I had a bunch of Duplo when I was really young, but I don't remember getting any of it. I know for a fact I had the Play Farm, and probably a few other sets, or at the very least, hand-me-down loose Duplo brick.
The first set I actually remember getting, and also the very first System set I ever got, was the Trauma Team during Christmas when I was 7.

Honestly I am glad, Lego has turned into a ripoff company. Sets that used to cost $15-20 now cost $50, Sets that used to cost $60 now cost $150. You can't blame it all on rising production costs and licenses either. If licenses cost so goddamn much then put more money into original themes.

I was(am) a total Andy. I love my toys and try to treat them well. And as for the second question, I'd probably go with Indian in the Cupboard just because there are enough toys that I kept in their packaging due to my family falling for the fucking collector's craze meme and I assume that's like a toy being locked in some horrible prison.

Somewhere in between? I mean, I don't do torture levels of stuff to my toys, but sometimes I do frankenstein-esque procedures to repair them, such as cannibalizing parts from other broken toys to repair ones that I am most attached to usually things like screws. But sometimes I'll order a damaged figure online just to take parts from it and replace the ones from my damaged figure.

it's okay. the plot kinda peters off in the last four or five episodes and the "oops we blew too much money on a new suit so we need a cheap filler episode" factor is pretty high. Not horrible, but I'm a sucker for callbacks and fusions.
