He's not even respected by the youth of his own country.

Why even bother talking to this guy? If you want to talk about economic matters talk to Rothschild. If you want to discuss foreign policy talk to Merkel. Macron is useless.

Should it be raised? Abolished? State by state?
Will it hasten automation? Will low skill workers have 0 opportunities in a couple of decades?
http://archive.is/mex5f
Minimum wage increases like this will speed up automation.
If we weren't importing so many third world workers, we could abolish minimum wage. The problem is we are importing and allowing in large amounts of people that quicken the race to the bottom line for wages.

>Will it hasten automation? Will low skill workers have 0 opportunities in a couple of decades?
Yes and yes. I'm an employer in a country that has minimum wage laws. People stubbornly refuse to understand that competition is fierce and drives prices down. The net wages people take home are not what it costs me to employ them. My cost is their gross wages. Having a minimum wage enforced by law forces me to have less employees and squeeze them harder in order to stay afloat. End result is higher unemployment which is bad for the economy in the end.

Stop thinking of solutions goyim.
Just donate money to Feed Africa Forever Fund.
"Africa made its own problems. Quit having 10 kids. Famine is nature's way of saying there are too many people. Stop reproducing."
This comment by one Australian on social media attracted 23 likes. Even though the food crisis gripping East Africa is driven by civil war, drought and economic collapse - not overpopulation - it's a common refrain among Australians posting on social media and news site comment sections.
"Send them a box of condoms instead of any food. They only know how to breed nonstop and then beg for food," says another.
Famine is always happening in Africa anyway, right? The aid money never does any good - it just makes them dependent or goes to corrupt officials. We should look after our own. Besides, they're all Islamic countries anyway. They deserve it.
These are the ill-informed and sometimes ugly attitudes that permeate public commentary around the crisis, which is putting up to 23 million people at risk of starvation and has been described as the worst humanitarian disaster since World War II.
Local NGO Plan International Australia has performed an audit of the public's perception and attitudes of the disaster as the aid community grapples with why normally generous donors are not responding to this crisis the way they usually do.
>>132235386
It found that despite sympathetic mainstream media news reports on the crisis, the comments in response were consistently and pervasively negative.
Plan CEO Ian Wishart says most of these attitudes come from lazy stereotypes and a poor understanding of the situation - and occasionally also unkindness.
"We're currently responding to a very serious crisis in the eastern part of Africa that may rival the terrible 1983 Ethiopian famine in scale and severity, yet apathy and negativity about this emergency is widespread," Mr Wishart said.
"Plan is on the ground right now in South Sudan assisting thousands of children and their parents who are unwittingly caught up in this disaster, so we feel compelled to correct the record."
Plan's report, Challenging Negative Attitudes About the Food Crisis in East Africa, aims to bust eight of the most common myths.
One of the most pernicious is that Islam is to blame for the crisis. In fact, three of the four worst affected countries - South Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya - are Christian majority countries. Yemen, on the nearby southern end of the Arabian peninsula, is the only predominantly Muslim nation among those hardest hit.
>>132235524
Polling conducted for aid agency Caritas last month found just 32 per cent of Australians were aware there was a major crisis unfolding in the region.
United Nations efforts to raise at least $4.4 billion in humanitarian aid from wealthy nations have fallen embarrassingly short as the world has remained preoccupied with Donald Trump, terrorism, political instability, Middle East turmoil and North Korea.
The Turnbull government - despite overseeing massive cuts to Australia's foreign aid program - has pledged $68 million towards the crisis.
MOST COMMON ATTITUDES TO EAST AFRICA FAMINE
1. Overpopulation is the cause of the famine.
2. Domestic issues are more important than providing aid to other countries.
3. The money never arrives to those who need it.
4. Famine is always happening in Africa.
5. People affected by famine deserve it.
6. Why give money when people in the developing world should simply help themselves?
7. Providing humanitarian aid indentures people into poverty.
8. Islam is to blame for the crisis.
Are all the /pol/sters who claim to be Christian actually following their faith?
Do you actually participate in your faith? Do you regularly attend Church services? When was the last time you actually cracked open the Holy Bible and read from it and prayed over it's meaning?
This a reminder that if you don't go to Church, if you don't read your Bible, you aren't really a Christian. Your faith is weak.
How can you ever expect your faith to mean anything, either to yourself or anyone else, if you don't actually participate?
Catholicism isn't Christianity and op is a faggot

>Jonathan Swan of the news website Axios reported late Sunday that chief strategist Steve Bannon is advocating a hike on the top tax bracket to finance a dramatic cut on taxes for middle- and lower-income Americans.
>Bannon wants to get the top tax bracket, which stands at 39.5%, into the 40s, according to Axios. The top bracket applies to individuals making $418,400 or higher and couples making $470,700 or higher.

Get over it, beta orbiter. She lovingly encouraged someone to commit suicide. Criminal negligence laws exist for a reason. You can't be a sociopathic dipshit with no repercussions. She broke the law, she's going to jail. There's nothing else to discuss.

Let's be real here, Americans would start running Europe within 1 month of landing if they even moved back here.
Europeans are weak, effeminate and have no leadership qualities. Americans are aggressive, dominant and god-gifted alphas. Americans would turn Europe into a military superpower and start bombing some sandnigger tribe and invading Africa within 30 days of taking over Europe. They would also inseminate every fertile-age female from the southern Mediterannean shores to the fyords of Noway. And European betas would cheer them on because their women are getting bred by superior males of the same species.
Europeans have an inherit inferiority complex against superior American alphas and they feel threatened by their mere presence in Europe. This is why Europe has been historically hostile against Americans.
