Fewer "prime age men" are participating in the work force, reaching almost Great Depression levels of labor force participation. Not only are men not participating in the labor force, but fewer and fewer men are even actively look for work, or being trained for work. They've simply dropped out.

Initially I was quite suspicious of MGTOW and its effects on society. Aside from the philosophy which I appreciate, what can it possibly achieve? I mean come on. So what a bunch of no-name losers, and perhaps some winners that are simply bitter, drop out of society. So what. Who cares. This really shouldn't affect a damn thing. Men are expendable in human society, they are sacrificed, they die, they get killed doing work, they get killed in warfare, etc. all so that the "best of men" get to reproduce. Men just aren't a limiting factor to a population, women are. So what's new? A few men being added to that sacrifice as dropouts shouldn't be too much of a concern. Right?

Well it turns out something else is brewing, and it isn't as simplistic as population size alone. Some seriously deep culture rot is going on.
America is on a linear trajectory in its decline of able bodied men not going to work and it's a trend that's been happening since WW2. Not only are "prime age men" not working, but they've stopped looking for work, or being trained for work altogether. They've simply dropped out of the labor force completely. Furthermore no other developed nation is facing this kind of cultural decline to the extent, and severity that the USA is facing. So something uniquely pervasive is happening in America alone. I wonder what that would be?
This lecture goes into far greater detail, and shares a lot of interesting data that I think many would find interesting here. For example Marriage is perhaps the single greatest determining factor if a person goes to work or not, and other little gems.
