There is a legitimate argument not based on hatred that could be made for the preservation of this monument that is being entirely ignored thanks to your nigger-tier behavior. The American Civil War was a calamity, one that should never be forgotten and hasn't been more relevant in a hundred years, thanks to the current division in our country. But instead of remembering the sacrifice of poor Confederate troops misled to believe the war was about states' rights, people who genuinely just turned out and gave their lives to fight for whatever small holdings they possessed, their friends and their neighbors, we get this fucking shit and the historical relevance of the conflict is entirely lost in the shuffle.

A country that is rife with political division and binary, polarized identity politics should NEVER forget the civil war, its gigantic toll on American life, and on the soul of the country. Fucking hell, Robert E Lee fought because he saw the war was an inevitability and feared New York politicians would write the doom of his beloved Virginia, but let's just make it about racism instead. But the real issue exists that you have the people /pol/ won over with memes but that don't actually support fascism(lolbertarians and kekistani faggots) being tied together with the huge surge of actual white nationalists. You see this on /pol/ too, any "alt-right" event is hard to distinguish from from kekistani faggots and actual fascists. This actually demotivates huge huge demographics of people from participating in events because in reality these two groups don't want to affiliate with each other. Eventually the right wing in the US is going to split into two and it's going to isolate the white nationalist segment considerably or result in the white nationalists becoming mainstream due to the weakness of regular kekistani faggot conservatism and libertarianism.

It's being used as a smokescreen to justify the media black out on the recent military activity. Gay marriage is a farce, they dont know what they want, won't explicitly say so because the right will just make a counterargument. This is why they're deliberately vague, at this stage of civil rights they get less than nothing by being honest and forthright.
