This album was a disappointment. Every other Deftones album had like 3-5 songs that you could listen to on-repeat (some personal favorites are MX, Digital Bath, Tempest, Xerces, Sex Tape, Mini-Maggit, Be Quiet & Drive, etc.), but where are the stand-out songs with replay value on Gore?

Nigga, even the band disowned that song. It's not a real part of White Pony.
i've been meaning to get more into traditional pop from the 1950's, or anything that has a similar feel to it, stuff like Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and a bit of Louis Armstrong. similar to the music in fallout games. but i only scratched the surface really. any charts or other resources out there to help me out?

If you're not looking for a specific style, just browse the top selling singles from back then. Wikipedia basically has everything you need to get started, e.g.:

Most of the stuff there is traditional pop, with a few exceptions.
