Quorthon, slayer of nu-males edition
Old >>73158134
it still hasn't hit bump limit newfriend
>>73165784
do you think quorthon's so-far unreleased material will ever see the light of day? I had heard he had several albums completely finished as well as a ton of other loose tracks that spanned his career.
>>73165804
It'll be three unremarkable thrash albums made in the mid 2000s, one viking album that would be good if the production wasn't riddled with midi-tier keyboards and five buttrock albums from his failed side projects
Was TLOP not his best album to date? The /mu/ extended version is fantastic
>>73165675
has someone done this for all of his albums yet? I'd be interested
>>73165675
He's a foolish ocelot and all of his albums are equally terrible.
Cheeky Top 10 thread.

Let's talk about the most beloved artist on /mu/: Grimes aka "the artist of the decade".
Also, daily reminder to be nice to Grimes and her fans.

Why didn't Superchunk ever break out and get super popular?
>>73165362
From what I heard, they turned down several lucrative major label deals in the mid-90s so that they could continue to release music through their own label, Merge Records.
They were super devoted to (and ultimately helped shape) the indie rock aesthetic and business. They never wanted to get super popular.
Plus they never had a song that would've given them that left-field radio shot. Slack Motherfucker was as close as they got to a Loser or She Don't Use Jelly, but that was never going to get played outside of college radio.
>>73165362
Same reason why Silkworm never got popular. I don't think Superchunk was as consistent though. No Pocky for Kitty is fantastic but I don't think the rest of their discography holds up to it.
How was this list made, was there a vote that determined what albums were /mu/ core and sub mu core?
If so when will this list be properly updated,or if it has been updated can some one give me the new mu core chart.
If this list hasn't been updated, there should be a change soon, because stuff like art angels should be in sun mu core at this point, this list is out of date.
>>73165253
art angels wouldn't be sub /mu/core, too many people are vehemently against it. not a good enough album imo
Only the top part is /mu/core . Read the title of the chart
>>73165287
I'm aware of that but I still think the list could be updated, more stuff could be added to sub mu core at this point, and I'm wondering is this an official chart?
