The Daily Show will never be the same without Jon Stewart. Can't say much about his skill as a guitarist.
I UNIRONICALLY REALLY ENJOYED THIS ALBUM
Is there something wrong with me?

Nah
I don't own the early Metallica albums yet on CD and I have been putting it off to see if they perhaps release them all in some limited edition set or remaster them again.
Do you think they will do this or should I just but it?
>inb4 buyfag
YES. In order to fully enjoy and appreciate an album I have to buy it! I hate just downloading music
>>73386758
Just buy it
But I would recommend buying that bootleg Japanese box set of their albums so Lars doesn't get any money. It's also a cooler looking set.

>But I would recommend buying that bootleg Japanese box set of their albums
link?
Also don't be too harsh on Lars. He's a pretty chill guy nowdays
I wish they would remaster Death Magnetic. I really like the thrash feel on that album although that's one of the only albums I could only enjoy it by downloading due to someone remastering it using the Guitar Hero isolated instrument tracks to fix up the distortion.
Help, someone tellme the name of this song.

Thanks. Im a painter and use vapor wave as white noise. Appreciate the advice
For those of you who are familiar, would you consider this DC101.1-core? My brother dismisses a lot of music I play as DC101.1-core.
>>73386613
what the fuck does that even mean?
>>73386623
Are you from the DC/VA/MD area?
>>73386638
Not everyone is from you're shitty area you cunt
Also it's not Triple J-core so it's fine.

(not op) yeah maybe in mood bands like suede would fit but i dont know of any other band that had the smooth britpop vibe mixed with angsy grunge-like guitars

Ramones were easily the best of the genre. Prove me wrong /mu/

I don't really consider the Ramones to be pop punk because they're really only that in retrospect. For me, pop punk isn't a label that exists until after the existence of hardcore punk. I'd just consider Ramones to be a flat-out punk band, being one of the initial wave to breakout and introduce the genre to a wider audience.
Coming up with one good pop punk band is kind of tough. Most of the good ones break out of genre fairly early on to the point where I don't know if it'd be fair to classify them solely as a pop punk band. The others get too old to the point where their existence as an older band playing the genre is a little pathetic.
Is there a punk band prior to Ramones? No.
So there is no need to call them "pop punk". They are punk.
>y-you guys haven't forgot about me, r-right?
No but that era is gone.
LORD WHY LORD WHY DO I GOTTA WAKE UP?

I don't know much about about the vocal side of music, but I have a strange problem. I have a pretty decent voice, and an alarmingly wide range. My speaking voice is around the pitch of La Grange by Zz Top, but I can comforably sing Chris Cornell and Layne Staley vocals. My problem is that I'm either on or off. I either have to speak so softly you can barely hear my voice, or project so loudly it would startle anyone within a 500 feet. Especially in the high register and falsetto. Anything in between sounds like air. I have to exhale heavily to get any tone at a moderate volume.
Is this something I can fix with vocal training or is it a lost cause?
Nobody here knows anything about music except geetars and synths.
I'd say ask a vocal coach.
Used to sing until I wrecked my voice but I never had your problem. Can't help much other than that.
Hm. I might just do that. It isn't only singing where I'm affected. During normal conversation I'm always told I need to speak up, but if I'm in a crowded restaurant in order to be heard at all I have to talk so loud everyone in the building can hear me. It's embarrasing.
I've been told that too.
If you have a lower pitched voice, there's a thin line between speaking level and too loud. I regularly have to tell people o can't speak any quieter without whispering.
