Howdydoo /mu/tants, its ya boy [mqto] here, back at it again with the music reviews and whatnot. I'm here to shill my newest piece of work as well as my revamped channel. No schedule this time around, just free flowing music reviews, Bandcamp reviews, lists, and whatever video I feel like making that has anything to do with music. Fuck, I'll review anything. Send me old ass album, I don't care.
Here's my latest over those BROCKHAMPTON boys: https://youtu.be/gxIauhmwI80

Im looking for an album but i only know its cover. As far as i remember it was showing a dark room. In this room was a night table i think with a vase on it.
ITT: Buttrock bands, that upon closer inspection, aren't actually buttrock

You're right, they're not rock. They're certainly butt though.
Undecipherable, multiple-tracked (and heavily EQ'd), Southern, average lyrics to a great melody over an over-produced, power-chord instrumental recorded on bargain-basement equipment, which would have been mind-numbingly dull bar the fact that exactly one of every four harmonies was non-diatonic. The bass was mindless, the solos were so obvious that they bordered on parody, but the percussion was acceptable.
Given the fact that Nevermind is legitimately one of the greatest rock albums ever recorded, one could make the argument that production trumps every other factor bar songwriting.
Say something nice about them
I can count on my hands how many times i've been on this board but thats besides the point. can someone please point me to music that sounds similar to kanye west's song "Father stretch my hands Pt 1". I would greatly appreciate it.

Are there any bands with a bass guitar, drums, and acoustic guitar?

One of my favorite albums
Daily reminder that Alice Cooper was more influential on the punk rock movement than The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, and MC5.
>>75023089
And he isn't a libshit like the other artists. It's beautiful.
>>75023089
No he wasn't. Punk rock didn't have even the tiniest bit of the stage show that Alice Cooper's shows almost relied upon.

Suck a cock.
1. Start the video by laughing, coughing, or make some noise like a fucking retard, gotta give instant sound or movement to your infant minded audience. Sometimes act as your other character to bring an unprecedented amount of pandering and DUDE IRONY LMAO.
2. "Hi everyone, "Inserthony Unfunnymemetano here" internet's biggest cum gargling waste of space
3. Give a long and unnecessary exposition of the artist's history and take up 30% of the video talking about wikipedia found information. It's pure filler.
4. Talk about general information about the album's sonic qualities
(5a). "Analyze" some of the tracks. On instrumentals, use unnecessary adjectives to describe what is being played ("blistering keyboard progressions", "fish oil coated hi hats"), it sounds smart and no one will point out your pretentious way of speaking. Also point out obvious things about the record.
(5b). On song meanings just rephrase what the song is saying, ("In this song, Johnny Cash talks about how he falls into a burning ring of fire, and he went down, and the flames went higher, and that he burns.") and pretend that counts as analysis or what the song actually means.
6. Give your final opinion and overview of the record, and describe your listening experiences of it. Compare the album with past albums and talk about the artist's future. Talk about unoriginal viewpoints and obvious expectations.
7. Give your final score, which is what people only care about and drone on about ("hur dur whatdaya mean a 7?!) Even though it's in the description, and people spend a hardy 3 seconds on the video because of it. Sometimes you'll write, "Watchthevideodudegivememoney/10" if it's a video on a popular artist and want people to gruelingly sit through your 8-22 minutes of bullshit. Then again they can skip to the end. Sometimes when the album is a hot meme off the grill, you'll write "le maymay/10" or "poop/10" or "pandering out of 10" for your comedic quality.
Faaaaaart!

How to youtube attention whore:
1. Make some ridiculous, exaggerated facial expression no one ever makes. Put that picture of your face in one half of the thumbnail and the subject of your video in the other half.
2. Beg for subscribes and donos at the end of every video.
that's all

Sition! Did you love it? Did you hate it? What would you rate it? You're the best, you're the best what should I review next? Hit the like if you like, please subscribe. Please don't cry if you disagreed with my review, just leave an angry comment down below. Okay? Okay. Anthony Fantano, Johnny Cash, FOREVER!
Why are hip hop fans generally so intolerant of other kinds of music?
I have a roommate who constantly blasts hip hop, he rarely plays anything outside the genre, and I don't care, even if I hate it I have yet to tell him to turn it off. But the moment I put my music in he's asking me to skip songs. This would happen to me all the time in high school, but only with friends who listened to hip hop. My friends who were more geared towards rock music never asked to change any songs. It's only ever the hip hop kids.

cause they're normies. anyone who's idea of "obscure" music is stuff that you don't hear on the radio is only listening for the beat and maybe some funny lyrics.
People have tastes. Sometimes, people are assholes about their tastes.
