Bump since this is getting buried in obvious shitpost threads

The genre is freak folk, if you're interested in doing your own research.
A couple of groups I like are The Cherry Blossoms and Charalambides. They are similar, but a bit less energetic and a bit less edgy. Comus is pretty one of a kind, desu...

Not OP but I've always hated how bands like Comus just get you redirected to freak folk when they are nothing like the rest of the genre (like the freak in freak folk only fits with outliers like Comus)
If you want spiritually similar things to Comus, you should be listening to something like Orgasm by Cromagnon
Post quartets.

What you think about?
Love the vocals on all of Spooky's songs from Black Silk. The slow jams really suit his voice. A lot of the lyrics are similar, wonder if he wrote them himself? Black Silk definitely has a theme. After reviewing the Black Silk album, I would say Spooky seems like the real deal; he's a unique artist.

question for people who play woodwind instruments
have any efforts ever been made to make playing something like the flute more user-friendly? as in, doesn't hurt your mouth to purse your lips a certain way for hours and hours
regardless of instrument, besides a short transitional period where you're developing muscles/callouses/etc., if you're hurting yourself playing, you're doing something wrong
all instruments feel awkward at first, you'll get used to it
