>nothing personnel, kid
he's not wrong
How come we never talk about him?
He makes consistently great albums (latest is AOTY contender)
Is /mu/ homophobic?
>>74423919
was never impressed by his work sorry. his twitter is funny. but i don't think hes music is aoty material.

lmao fuck his ugly talentless transmisogynist ass
>>74423919
eh
He has some good tracks but I struggle to enjoy him sometimes, a lot of No Shape and Too Bright is wayyy to poppy for me, in particular the first half of No Shape which is just pukey saccharine to my ears (though I wouldn't deny it's pretty beautifully performed and produced)
Anyone else don't listen to albums that have shitty cover art?
Like if the band can't be bothered to make effort into making their art look good, it puts me off and makes me think that they can't be bothered to put effort into their music either
I listen to an album if you suck my dick

will they ever get the respect they deserve?
>be me learning english
>find the zombie song and love it
>think the cranberries is a canon band everyone loves and listens to daily since everyone seems to know the song
>download discography off demonoid along with some 'quality' bands like pixies and breeders
>force myself into listening to a genre I was never into as a metal/hip-hop guy
>listen to the whole discography for two years at every chance with the pixies, breeders and some grunge (on the way to school, during some breaks, after school)
>even the songs that I thought sucked at first grow on me and I like their whole discography now
>in love with dolores o'riordan
>fastforward, eventually realize nobody listens to them
>i got rused into being a patrician
HOLY SHIT
PISS
No, because they get the respect they've earned as a result of being a one hit wonder. Zombie is the only song that actually utilizes her unique voice

Piano
I already play guitar and I would like to learn the piano, as a way to compose better music. I know how music theory works so i know how a piano works to a certain extent. i already know finger positions, but i learned everything from the internet and myself. i would like recomendations on cool basic piano songs i could play the melody and comping. my goal is to be able to play Body and Soul by Monk
How do you go from Deathcrush and DMDS to this? Not that it's bad, on the contrary, it's actually rather good, but seems like quite a change and an unusual one at that. Definitely experimenting done right!
It still wonders me how /mu/ jerks all over Filosofem, Sunbather and other hipster albums, but they never made an effort to check this bad boy out, even though it would probably suit them.
cuz it sux just like u
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjwClNzs3tY
this track for an example, mixing electronic with black metal and it works rather well.
let it be so, then
Do you rate Shawn Mendes?
Hey /mu/ I've been looking for a specific album/EP for a long time now, but no matter what I couldn't find it.
It was lo-fi post-punk with electronic influences, the cover was monochrome brown-ish from what i remember and I'm pretty sure it was in russian
I first heard it from a post on here or rym i don't remember exactly
All help is appreciated
>>74423083
That more or less describes an entire subgenre of music, but I'll post to say that I'm interested in seeing if anybody digs it up and posts it. Relevant to my interests.
This isn't the album you're looking for, but it's recommended listening.
