General question: what the Hell is the point of under sketching and all that? I've never used it to produce a picture, and when I do I have a hard time getting things to work. I usually just sit quietly until I have an image in my head and then I just put it out there. Does anyone else not use all the sketching and things? Will I never improve if I don't learn how to draw these crazy and ugly lines before I crisp things up?
