Hey Soldiers of /k/, I have a Kifaru AMR in Coyote Brown that I want to use for a rucking event in lieu of the standard issue piece of crap ruck we are given. I've seen a bunch of Soldiers using coyote brown bags with the new OCP uniform, but 670-1 says "If Soldiers choose to wear a shoulder bag while in uniform, the bag must be black or match the camouflage pattern uniform being worn, and may not have any commercial logos." I would argue that coyote brown falls into a grey area with this because of boots and belt, but does anyone know if this is stretching it for the regs? I'd really rather use my personal pack for this 18 miler because it's way more comfy

Lookup 'Wisport' backpack on google. They are a Polish company and have packs on amazon/ebay. They aren't made in a Chinese sweat-shop like Eberlestock is, and have all the pals/molle/etc you could want. I own a 55L 'Wisport Wildcat' and the adjustability is nice.

I built a .22lr pistol with an 11" barrel back in 2009. It was very fun.
In pistol calibers there is nothing wrong with it, it will be just like any other 9mm PDW or SMG type gun. In rifle cartridges they sometimes have issues with the gas system but there are ways of coping with that.
a 9millie AR pistol in 10" would be fun on a bun.
