I'm selling a sager p170em. Everything on it works except for the GPU. I bought it for $1650 5 years ago, and currently have a gaming pc which I use instead. Is it a fair price to sell it for 450 bucks; or am I lowballing myself?

Laptop Stats:

i7 Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz

8GB RAM

750GB HDD

AMD 7970M (Doesn't Work)

Why do I even need an OS when my browser already does everything?

The only time I use the OS is when booting into it and launching firefox.

I think operating systems are outdated, they should just be kernels that run firefox on top.

Emacs is a functional working environment by its own.

>>
>>58928291
you can probably set up some scripts or aliases to do pretty much everything for you, but I don't blame you. I use filezilla because i'm lazy. It's good enough to get the work done and nothing else is needed if you don't want to use the commands.

Im currently preparing for giving coding/ computer lessons to a class of kids (10-14) and every module starts with reading an article. But I dont want just go with the default shit like "history of the computer" etc but like every 3 weeks have a "tinfoil week" or something like that.
do you know any crazy/ hard to believe/ tinfoil tech and coding related events or stories I could look into?
I saw some shit here over the years but never bothered to keep track of it. so shame on me.

Did you think to, I don't know, look up the blue screen errors in order to determine the problem? Only a fucking (dog loving) idiot reinstalls their operating system because the system crashes once.
