As popular as laptops? Surely not. Maybe half as much? Or were they a rare sight used only by the richest users? Arthur C Clarke used one to write 2010.

I'd say they were as common as Panasonic Toughbooks are these days. They were only used in situations where a computer was the only tool that would do the job.

>riding railcar to work during this time period
>railcar is shut down due to excess power load due to all the faggots carrying these huge luggables
>while they're working on railcar, sneak out and try to get a taxi cab
>turns out I was in the middle of nowhere with no taxi service nearby
>stop in local coffee shop to borrow their phone and call my boss to tell him I'd be late
>notice like 10 guys in the coffee shop using these fucking luggables

That was the day I realized I was a luddite and got my own luggable and started to connect to BBSes and made friends like a normie.

Hello /g/, sorry if this is an incredibly dumb question. I'm considering upgrading to one of the gtx 10 series, however as they don't support analog signals natively anymore, I'm looking for something that will allow me to keep using my secondary crt monitor. I'm aware there are converters that can accomplish this, but all of the ones I have seen only claim to support up to 1920x1200 after conversion. So my question is, are there any digital to analog converters that will support higher than 1920x1200? ideally 2560x1600 is what I'd like.

Ooh I'm a faggot that just needs to use a crt. What's it like constantly sucking /g/s cock fag.

I think you need a card with a dual link DVI-I port(or DVI-A but that's an odd one you don't see much anymore) and a passive VGA adapter

You can't create apps for Android in C++ without touching Java at all.

It is possible with Qt, at least if you don't need something specific that Qt does not support itself.

Why do Americans think Nokia is dead?

They've never been this profitable and they own 5G technology powering future internet networks.

They're even back to making phones through their Finnish subsidiary run by all ex-Nokia staff that they own a 30% stake in, HMD Global.

Yet they pull in hundreds of billions annually.

Hey anons, I bought a new laptop about 2 weeks ago and I already regret my choise.

I have 2 years guarantee on it, is there a way to get my money back?

Like a scheme which will make it look that the laptop crashed (natural way) and is not reperable?

The problem is that you bought a consumer grade laptop, I made the same mistake.

You could break it but do it very carefully otherwise you end up with a brick.

Those few of you here on /g/ who don't have a full-time job programming in C for microcontrollers and actually have a website or web app online, who are you hosting it with? What made you decide on that particular host?

I want this thread to be a place where we list pros/cons based on particular needs and use cases.

I've used Digital Ocean and AWS for a couple very small hobby projects, but I have to say that I hate having to manage my own server. Therefore, I'm looking for a fully managed solution that supports several different languages/frameworks.

Currently, I'm having a look at Sourcevoid (https://www.sourcevoid.com). Has anyone used them before? The only thing that's holding me back is that they're a little pricey. However, the founder seems to care a lot about the product and has already personally answered a couple questions of mine within just a couple hours time.
