Got a Corolla 2013 with a 57056 faceplate radio, know any good sofware/firmware updates?
Car hacks General I guess, because /o/ dont stay on topic.
What makes you think /g/ stays on topic?

What makes you think people on /g/ own cars?
Did you know the CIA can hack into your car and make it crash without leaving a trace? Only use cars which respect your freedom and use open source software and firmware.
what does HTTP2 actually do?
It fucks your mom
Read the wiki
concurrent downloads + basically 'forces' sites to use ssl

Because this is a board for technolo/g/y, not /g/ullibility.
i dont get the appeal of leds, theyre distracting and lead to complications
How does 4chan's auto-moderation system work? And why doesn't it work most of the time?
I made a thread just now on /int/ with the main body "at what size do breasts become unattractive" and it was deleted as soon as I refreshed the page. I can't imagine a mod was just sitting there and deleted it manually in that space of time. There wouldn't have even been enough time for them to go through the menus.
So clearly it is looking for certain phrases on certain boards and auto-prunes threads that contain them. But then why is it so hard to trigger it? I could make as many "Bane?" threads as I want on /tv/ and it wouldn't trigger.
>>59355189
Looks for specific key words I guess. Could be a board filter at first that later targets and deletes threads, like on /pol/ a while ago where "cuck" was typed but "kek" was displayed, or "senpai" became "senpai", or how you can't post a thread outside of /b/ that only says rolling/dubs get/ect... on some boards. Find key words, alert a mod or janitor and bye bye shitpost.

Ah fuck, almost pents.
>looking at used laptops online

Should I do it, /g/? One of the ones I'm looking at even has a 960gb SSD.
>>59355152
>£350-400
>for a seven year old laptop
No.
>>59355152
no you shouldn't unless you want to run linux on them. new OSX versions run like shit on old macbooks.

Windows 10
Frezzes 15 seconds or so after botting.
Works fine in safe mode without networking
Disabled everything on startup, no luck.
Checked event viewer, i have these two ID's over and over.
Any idea how to solve it? I cant find anything...
>>59355143
Something's fucky. Better not ask anyone on 4chan for advice.
Try running an sfc /scannow from command prompt.

Im doing so now...

End of the meme.
Ah yes, the butthurt Windows/Sonyfag is back.
Nintendo Switch is on it's way to being the best selling console in history.
Zelda breath of the Wild is already confirmed the best reviewed game of all time.
Your shilling against Nintendo won't stop anyone form buying a Switch.
Why are 10Gbit NICs so damn expensive? My ancient Athlon 64 system had Gigabit LAN, we should be on 10 Gigabit by now.
And yes, I know there's SFP, but the cables are expensive and don't have great length.
>>59355025
The 10gb part isn't hard that is why SFP 10g cards are so cheap, the hard part is shoving 10gb trough some copper cables that can be up to 300m
They're expensive because 1gig is ample for your average consumer... not many people buy 10 gig, supply and demand etc. etc.
>>59355091
Can I expect to ever see cheaper SFP/QSFP cables, in that case? Also, weren't CAT6/CAT6A/CAT7 all supposed to carry those 10Gb speeds?
>>59355094
Yeah, bit of a shame, though I feel like most consumers don't need 802.11AC, yet it's becoming very prevalent in homes.
When will you upgrade your servers with RBG LEDs /g/?

>>59354868
you mean how they're both masters of their craft.
>>59354826
I mean really its just the next logical step in gaudy as fuck computer design. They're fucking slapping RGB leds on fucking ram now and people are eating that shit up with a spoon. I wonder what component will be the next to have leds slapped on to it and 50 bucks added to the price tag?
goodnight sweet prince

How come someone used an 8 digit phone number to call me ? Did this individual use a software ? +241(xxxxx )
>>59354747
Because Gabon only use 7 digits
>>59354789
My Friend, the interesting thing here is that the whole number is make out of 8 digits if you exclude the +, and another thing, the person that used it is in EU.
As the title says; I'll start:
>freedompop
Who has it? How is it? Talk to me, because I don't want to spend stupid money on a cell plan when most of my webwork is done at home and there's wifi everywhere.
>>59354739
Read the sticky and proceed to delete the thread afterwards.
>>59354872
>/g/ is NOT your personal tech support team or personal consumer review site.
Alright, but I don't want to waste this thread, so how about we turn this into a Cell & Data General Thread?
>someone post about the current isp market
>>59354872
If we can have daily GPU argument threads i think a few tech service related questions every now and then should be allowed.
