Are you botnet?
>>61114568
Yes.
>>61114568
No.
Ok /g/ so i was helping my friend pick out parts for a medium/entry level build. We couldnt find any radeon rx 400 series or even 500 series anywhere. We wanted the 470 but it was 900 dollars so fuck that. Anyway we got lucky and found an evga gtx 1060 superclocked 3gb. What do you guys think of it as a substitute for the 470?
>Pic related - the card
>1060
Fine, I gu-
>3GB
Literally 970 tier
>>61114579
Yeah i know, it was literally the only fucking card we could fine
>>61114579
I even checked for the 6gb but they were all 300 dollars more expensive. Fucking price gouging. I checked microcenter, frys, literally every online retailer
Alright /g/, help me or don't, I have no where to turn.
I am creating a podcast, and trying to upload to itunes.
I am hosting on a server that I have rented.
I am using weebly to create a website with a blog page so that I can create an RSSfeed.
My problem: Itunes requires a category tag, an explicit tag, and a language tag.
The problem with this is that I am not super good with html, so this is what I did in weebly.
>I added an image (1400 x 1400 because thts what itunes requires)
>Added an audio file (mp3) which is the voice of podcast
>added an RSSfeed through an addition provided by weebly
Now I have no clue how to add any tags. Someone please hlp.
I can provide RSSfeed link for anyone who can help.
>>61114385
OP here,
I also tried embedding code onto the blog post, but it did not work.
The only html 'code' I wrote in was
><explicit>yes</explicit>
><language>english</language>
OP here again, I also tried to use third party software to include metadata in the mp3 file but I didn't finish this method, as i thought It wouldn't work.
OP here.
I have now just taken everything off of the blog page(post) and now the only thing up is the mp3 file, and the RSSfeed addition. Still have no idea how to add tags into the html tho.
How come I can use 3 monitors on Linux, but on windows it only allows me to use two. If i try to use 3 it says "unable to save display settings"
Why would one work on linux but not on windows?
Linux is awesome? but why?
>>61114202
Idk make a window Manager
>>61114202
I use 3 screens on Windows.
My GTX 660 outperforms my GTX 750ti and GTX 950.
Have I fallen for the "newer == better" meme again?
>>61114167
>newer == better
if they did and you believed him , you are retarded. Do you think a 950 is going to beat a 980ti?
also the 950 should be quite comparable in a lot of titles to your 660
>>61114167
i oced my 950 to 1700mhz core clck runs better then my 980 ti
>>61114228
its slower at all times m8
Hey /g/
What kind of jobs can I get with just CompTIA A+, Network+, and an AS in Computer Science: Networking Focus? Could I be a junior sysadmin with just that?
>>61113942
An internship
>>61113942
certs alone are meaningless
>>61113997
this
>>61113942
No, you're thinking too optimistically. Source: Network+, Security+, and soon to be CSA+ while working at a helldesk. After the CSA+, I'm getting off the CompTIA meme. To be fair though the Linux+ could be useful for linux sys admins, it comes bundled with 3-4 certs.

Ait boys, I posted this on the other thread, but I might as well throw it on the new one, too.
>CS major, c++ focused rn

I guess I've come to the point where I have to learn how to use linux. I have Ubuntu dual-booted, and I've learned how to do really basic stuff like install programs and mess with files.
I'm still totally in the dark when it comes to using the OS with doing anything programming-related.
what do?
>>61113864
This was meant for you: >>61113864
If you're really serious about learning, then you have to either use GNU/Linux as your main OS, or remove Windows completely.
>>61113864
how the hell can a cs major not know how to use linux?
ITT we rank motherboard brands

Old thread (>>61101090) is autosaging.
Do you have stupid questions that don't deserve their own thread? Ask them here.
Best minimalistic active antivirus? Seems like a common problem with a lot of them to make you system hang with high disk usage.
Comodo is mentioned in the wiki. Is it really any better than normal?
>>61113723
>minimalistic active antivirus
Unplug your pc. So minimal. Much safe.
Windows 10 forced another stupid fucking update on me, as per the norm, and now I can't open any Microsoft apps, including Calculator. It says I can't open it because I am the administrator.
Literally what in the blue fuck does that mean? I'm the only fucking user of the PC, of course I'm the fucking admin. Do I really have to make a dummy account just to use Windows Apps? My laptop doesn't have this "feature" yet, it better not fucking happen there too
is getting the security+ going to get me a decent job alone with a year of exp and comptia A+ 901 and 902?
security seems like my passion
>>61113495
as a security pro the sec+ wont get you shit but it will get you a talking point in an interview to talk about the knowledge you do have.
most places dont give a shit about certs unless its the CISSP.
Sec+ will get you a nice little entry level security position. If you know hot to code or write scripts you will be a better choice over most candidates. Most companies want exp or once in an entry level they want to see drive
>>61113545
pretty much this, certs are there to complement your experience, they are never used as gauge of your knowledge because they contain fuck all useful information.
1 year in the field is worth all of the entry certs combined.
Even some of the MCSE windows certs are shit, and they require multiple levels or prerequisites
Anyone who brags about certs is automatically assumed a skid
There aren't any certs for real security work (vuln research, weaponizing, hids dev, hypervisor dev, binary protection, or reversing)

old video cards seem to still be 100 % usable .
firealarm 285 only has 240 cuda cores and it still wipes the floor in older games .
what old cards do you still own ?
>>61113408
bought a gtx 560 ti for 30 bucks on ebay
>>61113408
>what old cards do you still own ?
None, as soon as i'm done with a card I sell it and use it to buy a new one, like any smart person would.
Saying that, I do have a 610gt in a box for troubleshooting
>>61113585
I still have my old 9400 gt
