Has anyone else noticed that Disney only seems to be using the classic Mickey Mouse design in all their merchandise lately? Is there an actual reason for it, or do people just like the "retro" look better?
Disney hasn't shown the 50s era cartoons for a long time, modern kids don't recognize it while others can go XD NOSTALGIA
Because the new shorts basically use the classic Mickey. That's pretty much it.
Because the "modern" design is reserved for the infinitely boring, babyish Clubhouse and Roadster Racers, and incredibly sexist Fashion!Shopping!Minnie junk, and and through those shows/products has become incredibly unpopular.
The "modern" Mickey used to be as popular as any other. Disney hurt itself badly by channeling it entirely into babyish crap.
Let's appreciate for a second how the Mighty Max cartoon had a lot of weird shit for a children's cartoon.

He's the Sin City guy right? It'd probably be pretty weird to read a Watchmen comic written by him.

>I see what you did there.
inb4 endlessly rehashing tired old "it has rape in it" jokes
What personal memories do you have with this show?

Why the fuck do people cling to this overrated shithole. Why the fuck did this win awards. Why the fuck does this exist. Why the fuck can't Hasbro just give us a good show for once. This show is generic trash and you are fucking trash for liking it.

GarbageHazard please.
>>94184048
This was indeed really boring. Probably the tightest TF show as far as writing goes. But utterly unmemorable.
So, Ultimate Spiderman (The Game) takes the story on a different direction than the comicbook series regarding Venom's plotline and such. Does the game's story count as non canon, or is it an alternate Ultimate Universe? Also, why was the game so much better than the comic?
>>94184007
>Also, why was the game so much better than the comic?
no Bendis
>>94184007
It's easier to just always assume the games are their own thing
>>94184007
I remember feeling really bad for Eddie because of what happened to him in this game. In fact,I let him throw Trask's helicopter off the building the first time I played the final fight.
why?
>>94183444
Bobby felt so sorry afterwards he became a faggot

Bobby was a misogynistic asshole, so we fixed him. You're welcome.

Reminder that the "no kill" rule is an immeadiate sign of bad writing.
Or it's the writers recognizing that it's a fantasy superhero comic book and if you try to apply real-world cynical morality to it it turns into the Watchmen world.
>>94183473
>anytime anyone tries to kill someone in a comic it becomes Watchmen
>implying Watchmen isn't its own theme in its entirety
Punisher exists.
>>94183599
Watchmen was explicitly about why characters like Punisher don't work in an endless superhero universe.
Punisher has probably killed thousands and thousands of people and has not curbed crime in NYC one iota, because in a superhero universe crime always has to be bad enough to justify the existence of heroes in the first place.
That said, I think things like War Journal and Ennis' Punisher served as a rebuttal to that notion, saying that Punisher killing crooks is more of a revenge fantasy kind of thing, as opposed to being thought of as a legitimate solution to crime.
But then you have cocksucking edgelords like OP who are like "No superheroes are gay lol they don't even kill anybody, if i were a superhero id kill everyone because im so morally superior and badass"
Why does Marvel keep pushing the Inhumans when it's clear that absolutely no one cares about them?
>>94183333
I would have watched an Inhumans movie, but both Marvel's and DC's live action tv shows suck.
Disney is able to use the Inhumans in attractions for Disney World unlike many other Marvel characters. Disney is the one who demanded the push for Inhumans, not Perlmutter like some have claimed on here. The push for them didn't amp up until after Disney bought Marvel.

Why do we keep getting the same string of newfag basic questions every day?

Because they don't own the film rights.

With Spider-Man Homecoming underperforming, and people already disliking the new Peter sooner than expected. I think its time for Sony to release the Spider-Man movie everyone has been asking for since Spider-Man 3.
>>94182939
Why do you keep on pushing this meme, Why do you hate spider-man that much?
>>94182939
>People disliking new Peter
Literally everyone likes him except for 4chan
>>94182939
What was it like to have been 4 years old 10 years ago and so to see that movie through nostalgic spectacles?
Is it like how I am with Phantom Menace?
