10/10 Trope:
>hot, attractive female can't get laid to save their life
I love this shit but it's so damn rare. But I do like the story potential when it does happen.
(show is 'The Awesomes')
>>94190440
The Awesomes started out kind eh but by the end it was far better than it had any right to be.Also as a ticklefag her weakness being "extreme ticklishness" made me happy
>>94190440
Well you could always be the creator of reverse johnny bravo.
>>94190440
Oh wait is this a thread for talking about 10/10 tropes or a thread for "The awesomes?
So you have to defeat and take over the other nations, but your army can only manipulate fire, like in the movie. How would you do it?
have tanks and shit while other armies can only dance pebbles while living in the stone age
>>94190301
While everything about the movie was terrible, Shamalamadingdong did raise a really good point with that. It doesn't make sense that Firebenders can spontaneously generate fire, when no other benders can. Hell, the human body is made of water, but Waterbenders still can't conjure water.

Hello /co/ i'm a sort of conspiracy enthusiast and a New Age kind of guy and i'm looking for some inspiration in comics.
I like stuff like Grant Morrison's Invisibles and Doom Patrol, Ostander's Suicide Squad, Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron, Peter Milligan's Egypt and so on.
Last time i asked around people recommended me Saucer County, Puma Blues and Moench's Big Book of conspiracies and they were all great, but maybe you have something more?
Shoukd i check out The Question? I remember some issues being very psychedelic and surreal in storytelling
>>94190232
The surreal, psychedelic Question issues you're looking for would be Rick Veitch's short mini. It's pretty good stuff, although Denny O'Neil's 80s run is leagues better.
Far as New Age and weird stuff goes, I'd recommend checking out some of Pat Mills' work. Sláine for Celtic-based New Age fantasy, Finn for paganism mixed with government conspiracies, and Greysuit for just full-on govt conspiracies. Sláine is the easiest to find.

Thank you my dude.
I also really liked the Prophet revival, it was really good.

I saw that Death of the Endless supposedly closes up shop with the universe in DC canon, but how does she take Manhattan? He seems to be just as strong or stronger than Death, and capable of existing without a physical body in the first place.
>>94189498
I hope so. New York really needs to die.
Doctor Manhattan, as presented in Watchmen, is not really that strong by comic book standards. He is on the same level as the Silver Surfer with the Power Cosmic. There are many, many characters that surpass him in power.
And honestly, that doesn't really matter at all, because Death doesn't fight people, she doesn't kill, she just arrives. It doesn't matter how invulnerable Manhattan is, Death just shows up and grabs your hand and leads you to the exit.
Please don't turn two great comics into some stupid super power pissing match. Thats not the point at all. Please, for all of us, don't be that guy
>>94189498
If Death can kill her other Endless siblings than she can easily kill manhattan too
Wow this is garbage.

Everyone said Regular Show on an adult network would be better, that having less boundaries would make the show better. Looks like they were wrong.

Why aren't Disney comics profitable anymore? Looney Tunes has an ongoing comic book with more than 200 issues; Scooby-Doo also has a monthly comic book (three, in fact); yet Mickey and Donald struggle to keep a regular series, even on a smaller publisher.
>>94188997
I have to assume it's a logistics issue, past a certain point.
If Disney wanted to do a committed Mickey series they'd probably do it through Marvel, even if it's obviously a separate continuity. But then they'd have to deal with diamond's shitty distribution system which would limit physical copies to specialty stores and book stores, rather than places like wal-mart or grocery racks like Archie or their smaller magazines. So they'd need to actually fix Marvel's disgusting distribution problem, which they've been refusing to do for like a decade now because Disney insists on being hands off whenever possible.
Looney Tunes does so poorly it's not even in the top 300 sales most months. Scooby is better but still at cancellation levels if it was a main series book. I don't think the Disney ones do significantly worse.
DC likely just prints them because WB asks them to and it doesn't hurt as much because they have Batman and shit to subsidize the costs.
>>94189096
who the fuck is buying looney tunes at $3.99 a pop
I actually love this series of movies but I'm afraid it's getting milked way too much for its own good.
I mean, a TV show? Really?
>>94188622
The TV actually wasn't all that bad. I mean, it's not the savior of western animation, but considering the majority of shit that was on Nicktoons at the time (excluding TMNT) it was pretty fun.
>>94188680
It's not the quality I'm worried about, it's the charm of the series. Didn't they mention it's still going to have three movie sequels or something? Isn't that way too ambitious?
>>94188622
Just ignore the TV show. It's inconsequential.
Didnt see this yet.
>>94188550
Is this a good Thor series to start with?
I've never read a Thor series before.
Overrated run that only gets praise because most Thor runs are shit. It's mediocre. The 2007 post-Civil War run and Whor is where it's at.
YOU'VE GOT SOMETHING ABOUT YOU
>>94187932
Start with Simonson's run.
Are white people so afraid of blacks that even Cyborg's personality has to be neutered in live action just like Luke Cage? How come he isn't fun and doesn't scream "Booyah!" all the time?
Replace the word "white" with "hollywood executives" and try it again.
Also, luke cage's shit is at least half on Bendis.
>>94187922
Why do you keep making this?
The JL cast only has WW act like her character.
