I like both, although they're not really comparable due to the dramatic differences in length and completely different tonal and thematic focuses. That being said I've been preferring Samurai Jack lately, it's been fun. Also at least one person in this thread will say Reddit and Memey outside of this post.

He seems to have had the most creative thought put into his moveset.

I'm loving that we're getting the lighting throw and windmill hands this time around and I like that his move set makes him seem RIDICULOUSLY fast as opposed to just very fast like he was in the first game

My goodness did I love this series when I was younger. Although I watched part 4 first, I still thoroughly enjoyed it, and I still think the end of episode 2/beginning of episode 3 is one of the most awesome twists I've ever seen(mostly due to how Luigi deals with it)

That said, as much as I love this series, I gotta give the nod to SMBZ.

Just rewatched part 3, it still holds up.
Elaborating on what I said earlier, it is a pretty great series and I'm glad I was confused when I watched part 4 first and didn't really take it in. Although there is some dumb vulgar humor, especially in part 2, it's still fantastic and there's a lot of really cool and unique ideas throughout it.(the 1-Up Mushroom being hidden away in an ancient graveyard guarded by a big boo and the fact that Luigi's dream warns him because Wart is in Subcon and he probably got a glimpse of his plans comes to mind) Still gotta give the nod to SMBZ pre-reboot, but it's still a classic.

The problem is: we are currently living in the age of Newgrounds Animation. Many classic Newgrounds animators and game designers are entering the mainstream. Remember the Super Flash Bros? Their latest game is Snipperclips on the Nintendo Switch. Harry Partridge? Animated the opening for Rifftracks. There are probably dozens of random people who made the transition from Newgrounds to actual work.

The 1994 American Mega Man cartoon was short yet fun.

The Mega Man NT Warrior anime was alright but only 2/5 seasons were dubbed.

The Archie comic is really good and worth reading. It was left on an indefinite hiatus though.

The Ace Attorney anime is...okay but the games are MUCH better. The live action film is watchable.

Well it probably isn't anyone we've met before. Not in the in the series proper, at least

Jack's been on his own for fifty-some odd years, meaning most of his affiliates from Season 1-4 are either older than dirt or dead. Wouldn't make sense to shoehorn someone in, not with only having ten episodes to tell the story. Genndy isn't one for backpedaling.

Maybe she was one of the thousands of children present for Aku's fairy tale readings? Who knows.

My personal belief is the High Priestess is actually TeacupBallerina, who managed to meme herself into the Samurai Jack universe through sheer lust alone.

In the silver age and bronze age the ring could time travel pretty casually
