Never forget /co/, he stood alone at Gjallerbru.

though the Executioner stands alone, and the warriors of Hel seem numberless, not one sets foot upon the bridge across the river Gjoll. They sing no songs in Hel... nor do they celebrate heroes... for silent is that dismal realm and cheerless... but the story of the Gjallerbru and the god who defended it is whispered across the Nine Worlds. And when a new arrival asks about the one to whom even Hela bows her head... the answer is always the same... he stood alone at Gjallerbru... and that answer is enough.

Okay.
>>Moon Girl's sales are at 9,000. 11,000 less than the cancellation threshold.
>>Moon Girl solves the problem of not one, but TWO events (Monsters Unleashed and Inhumans vs. X-Men)
>>Already in Marvel Future Fight and Avengers Academy games.
>>On top of that, regularly guest stars in multiple books and is about to join a team book soon.
WHY?! I would say nobody likes this character, but I see a Twitter defense force for her! Why are they so determined to push such an annoying character?
There's a Scholastic deal that means individual issue sales are much less important for this book. Cancellation numbers are more like 15,000 than 20,000 now too.
If you paid attention to comics news rather than looking for books to hate you might know this.
>>91438196
>Why are they so determined to push such an annoying character?
Because if little black girls don't have stongf, intellijunt, role models like Moon Girl and Iron Heart they either commit suicide or have 20 welfare babies with 20 different daddies.

Last night, we had the continued drawing out of this current episode of the never ending Sal/Amber drama.
Will we finally see some action tonight? Or has Willis completely devoted any creativity he has left to fining new ways to ruin his own characters?
The suspense is slowly killing me inside.
I had the genius idea of how to avoid conflict. That is, Sal/Amber conflict.
Simply have Marcie come up behind Sal and pull her away, letting Amber get away scot free.
So here's an interesting bit of the Willis "creative" process he posted to Patreon a short while ago.
Interesting that he thought the last strip was so poor that it required an extended explanation. There were a bunch of confused comments on Patreon yesterday, so maybe that's what prompted this uncharacteristic admission.
>>91421114
...Goddammit, Sal struggling with the chair actually works better.
How does he keep managing to pick the worst versions of his strips?
Is he right? Is Steven Universe only being seen as going down hill is because of the way it's airing?

>>91408008
Can't watch at the moment but yeah that seems like a good gist of the situation. The bomb format shit is dumb and I wish CN had never gotten it into their head and at the same time all they ever air for massive amounts of channel space is TTGO, it's a problem for more than just SU.
>>91408008
Partially. There have been some writing slumps since Season 3 but nothing too distractig, but Season 4 has been atrocious in terms of pacing. Even the SOL episodes suck more than usual.
No. Writing and general artistic talent declined.
Like people can meme about Calarts but a lot of the locations and sound design was great.
I don't really know how to describe it, but the settings were just filled with a sense of lighthearted adventure. It was just going to cool places and fucking around with ancient Gem shit. No barn or making Steven some fucking authority on feelings for autistic lesbians.
