ayyyy im in the same boat with goals. youre missing a lot of cast shadows where should be (nostrils, ass, maybe dick casting on leg). use harsher blending for core shadows, just a tiny bit.

Forced romance, boring plot lines, inconsistencies within plot. I'm really picky though with stories though to be honest after being spoiled with some pretty good ones when I was younger. There needs to be some aspect of excitement and mysterious going on in the back ground. Nothing too extreme but something to keep the reader guessing. Just finished up with this webcomic that although I love the artist and the style of it, the story was absolute shit.

Also works. The art doesn't have to be the best for me- hell, I was into One Punch Man when it was still a webcomic. If the story is something that is original and that you can see that the creator really tried to do the best that they could do, then I have no qualms. Also I really cannot stress enough how much I fucking hate forced romances. Number one thing that I cannot stand is characters with no other traits or attributes other than that they're partners with someone else unless that is what the creator was trying to get at (ex. trophy wife, that kinda deal). I will legit drop a story flat on its ass and from what I've seen so will a lot of other people.

Alright, I'll give my feedback on your piece.

Well, looking at it from an artistic perspective, your line art is well done, your coloring is pretty okay. Although, something feels off about your piece overall...


Your piece is very detailed line-wise, but the coloring is not exactly a good match for the design and line work. When it comes to rigid black lines and realistic coloring, it tends to look off and artificial. Not to mention the overall design of the character I believe is very (forgive me) "anime-esque." Anime style and realistic coloring DO NOT MIX WELL most of the time.

For this kind of style, I feel as though cel shading may be best for it, and maybe add just a bit more volume to the darkness of the shading, so it doesn't look flat (if you know what I mean). Also don't be afraid to experiment.

Overall, your piece has a good sense of coloring, well balanced. Also glad you changed the skin tone to close peach and purple.

Anatomy wise, this could use some work, as the body seems to be the only thing I see wrong with it. The style of the face seems to be very rigid, and uniformed; I feel you should have kept the same style for the body, since the body is quite round, and bubbly. The amount of detail on the head and hair is great, but I also wish it was there for the body.

I also really like you lighting. Overall pretty good job.

I had posted a few different things on there but it really whipped up after a Roadhog/Reaper fic. I guess some blog that does nothing but call people out and send a bunch of hate for whatever they can think of found it and said it was racist and pedophilic because Roadhog is white/bigger and Reaper is hispanic/smaller (apparently size difference = cp no matter the age according to tumblr) and then it just devolved from there. Started getting anon asks calling me all kinds of shit and threatening me, and they just kept coming when I turned off anon asks. I tried to report them but I was getting like 5-10 messages a day, and then I'd get reblogs from other callout blogs telling people to go hate on me. After the death/FBI threats I actually started getting freaked out and I just purged everything. Looking back I know they weren't valid at all but in the moment you can't help but ask 'what if?' and get worked up.

I probably just got really bad luck with that though, if it were like that for everyone I can't imagine anyone would ever post art on there. And don't use trigger warnings, by the way. Those callout blogs purposely search them to find shit to whine about.

Hmmm...where to start...


Well, Overall concept is laid out, you want a body builder weight lifter.

Face is quite disproportionate, eyes too high, nose is incredibly large for the face, and mouth is a tad bit wide considering the face is that style. The mouth could work as it is, but the rest of the face can't. The hair is a bit too flat, and there isn't much definition from the top of the head. Makes the guy seem to have a top, flat head.

Body wise, it's a bit disproportionate. The left arm looks way off, and rather bent.

The left side of his hops look way too big and enlarged. His thighs are also CRAZY big. Simmer down a bit, because hyper muscles like these usually don't go well considering the top of the body is fit.

Style-wise, I just don't see much direction to it. The line work is a bit too uniformed, and you tend to put bold lines in just about every separation of the muscle, which makes the human resemble to that of a "human muscular system chart." I would recommend you try to experiment with different styles of line art, like thinner, looser lines.

You may need to study anatomy, as I did when I began to draw.

Reguardless, let's get started. Hmm, well your concept seems to be that of a guy with a pony tail squeezing his nutsack wearing a jockstrap. Hot, but exection may need a bit of work. Overall composition isn't too balanced, as we have one leg completely visible to the viewer, and the other leg justgoes off the page, which I wish we could see more of. When it comes to these kinds of drawings where one leg goes off the page, that usually means you should change the form of the page to landscape. Especially since the character you're drawing IS sitting down, and stretching his legs.
Overall anatomy is okay in this one, I like the anatomy in the thighs. The feet need a bit of work, and I implore that you don't use bold lines on the tiny ligaments that the foot has. If you want to make the foot seemed defined, use tiny, thin lines that aren't consistent. I could say the same for the body's muscle definition. The arms look pretty okay, left arm feels a bit unnatural.

Face is probably my least favorite part of this piece. Same thing as I've mentioned before about the face being disproportionate as the head.

This piece is a step up from the body builder one, but there is definitely room for improvement.

You have such a lovely feminine style, it's aesthetically pleasing to look at, as is the woman on the right, which is my favorite of the two.

Anatomy wise, there's a few things that I didn't buy. The woman on the right's right arm is longer than normal, even if she is bending it. and the way the character on the left is positioned makes it seem initially that the other lady has no left arm.

I understand that the woman's thighs are abnmormally large, which I assume is a part of the design and/or your style, but they need a bit of reduction.
The guy (I assumed their gender) looks a bit stiff, considering he has such a glamorous, suave look, and the woman looks relaxed and curvy.


Character composition is a bit off, as I've mentioned before about the arm. If you look closely, the man looks to be right in between her armpit, and her arm, which makes absolutely no sense that a portion of his body fits there.
Aside from that, I think this is an overall good piece, and I really do like your style a lot. Reminds me of Loish's style. You have a great understanding of anatomy and clothing, and your attention to detail is extraordinary, so well done!

For starters, I think that the body composition is pretty okay, and I can tell you have a great concept of anatomy, but it doesn't strike me as interesting to look at. From what I can tell, you're drawing a "real really" average human's body type, which isn't as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The chests look saggy, body type is a bit slumpy, arms look lazy, and the shoulders don't have much of an expressive stance.

The thighs look okay, as do the legs. The feet could use some work, and the end of the pants should not cover that much of the foot.

As another anon mentioned before, veins sometimes don't look good on cocks. In your case, especially since the body you've drawn lacks a lot of detail.

The face I would say is the best feature, as you've made the character actually look expressive and orgasmic. Although I wish you could have added a bit more detail on the eyes. I really like how you drew the mouth and the lower part of the nose.

Overall, anatomy is your only issue, and I think you could make your piece a bit more interesting by adding more detail, and making it more expressive.

And yes for sure, I agree about the tags. What separates a good OC from a bad one?

It depends. If your OCs are generally just something to look at or to beat off to, the character design is obviously all that's important. With character designs, most the time less is more. Bright, neon, mismatched colors and ridiculous hair are the worst offenders there (See: almost every furry OC ever, anything to come from DeviantArt)

When it comes to the actual character, the best thing to avoid is baseless traits (See: >>2353837 sorry mate. The character designs are pretty cute but those are the most generic traits ever) A good way to avoid this is to ask about any trait, "why?" Character doesn't like eating out at restaurants, why? Finds bald people particularly attractive, why? Has a phobia of cigarettes, why? Even if it's something the character themselves would be unaware of, there's usually always something that happened at some point in their lives to make that trait appear in them, even if subconsciously.

To keep it short Callisto is originally from Cuba and was raised by his mother and an abusive father. The father would gamble all their money away until finally loan sharks started to come after them. Father ditched leaving Callisto and his mom to fend for themselves until finally other family members had taken Callisto to sell so that the mother would be safe. At around 11-12 Callisto was shipped from Cuba to Florida to later be sold in the pornography industry but during the trip there he was heavily abused by his captors with no food, space, or much air below deck and with others with him having the same fate many were already poor in health and had died early within the voyage. Wanting to see his mother again and not wanting to die he had resorted to cannibalism and thus began his addiction. Some other shit happens but that's the jist of how he got that way. Also if you're wondering he was rescued before he was sold off in Florida and jumped from foster parent to foster parent. Later he went to South America and became a cop.

Aaah, okay fair enough. Just as a bit of advice, you also have a tendency to draw the neck as a sort of weird curve into the shoulders. I think it would look a little better if you emphasised the neck and trapezius as two separate volumes rather than a curved slope, especially since you have a preference for drawing buff boys, the trapezius would be much more pronounced than usual

You need to work more on your foreshortening. If it wasn't for the oddly shaped sword there'd be no way of telling that this is meant to be from a low angle perspective.
First, the arm coming towards the viewer is too long and it's shape is too uniform to accurately represent that it's coming forward. The hilt of the sword is also tilted as if it's facing down towards the ground instead at the viewer, which again, makes the sword look oddly shaped and short rather than facing out and down at a number angle.
His other hand also just seems to be floating on his hip rather than resting or gripping onto it. You can show this by depicting the impression his fingers would leave on his skin and clothing (which can also indicate his grip) and by changing the angle of the backside of his hand relative to his wrist.

Another big thing that breaks the perspective shot you were going for is the angle of his head and neck. Since this is meant to be an imposing shot AND an angle where he's looking down at the viewer, you'd expect to see more of the underside of his chin and nose and the angle of his eyes and mouth would be more round rather than a straight line across.
And finally the lighting doesn't help the perspective at all, since the light source isn't that clear and the shadow on his face looks out of place.

Apologies if this comes across as rude, you've got a decent enough understanding of anatomy but perspective is a salty mistress to dance with, so I commend you for trying (I usually give up half way desu)

Yeah, I meant them pubes. The brush you were using for them looks the tiniest bit too thick, is all.

Also, if that person is supposed to be standing then you're gonna wanna redraw the torso so mostly the top of the shoulders and the trapezius is visible, and so that it lines up underneath the urethra tickler dude's head. From there on you could either darken the space inbetween if you're lazy, or take the time to draw the standing guys feet waaaay below.

Personally I wish he were lying down, not just out of personal preference but for your own convenience too. You'd be fixing MUCH less.

Concerning the hair on his elbows, the left one's direction is down, while the right one's direction is up, maybe keeping the direction of the hair growth consistent would be good. You have wonderful texture in his body hair, like the legs and elbows, maybe try translating that detail to the tuft at the end of his tail? It's looking a little smokey. Otherwise I'd adore to see more of him!

The horns and the tail aren't finished, I just put colors there to work on his overall color scheme. I don't hate the flat orange but it feels unfinished.

He was a mage character so he didn't have a lot of those in the first place, and when I decided to reuse him for an original setting after the campaign ended, I basically removed it all.
I do feel there's a little something missing in his design though. His body feels a bit too pure as it is now.

I don't think cybernetic-ing him up is necessary, seeing as he's a mostly naked model. Even in sci-fi I prefer some character's to be "pure" that way not every single person is cyborg-ninja-dude. Merely some accessories would be fine.

But if you feel you must, if I were to do a shadowrun goat-man, I might have a broken horn that's been mended with a fake one (so one real horn, one plastic/metal replica), maybe he sold it, or someone stole it, and now a rich fuckers drinking out of his horn. I dunno, I enjoy things like that.

I had another look at your work so here's a continuation of my feedback. A 8-pack is definitely possible with the right amount of body fat and muscle but even when it's visible, the top row shouldn't be bigger (or even as big) as the others. Also, the top row is supposed to be right under the pecs so there's an empty space that doesn't make sense here.
There's a lot of different abs shapes but I think yours may be too round for a character of this body type.

For some actual negatives, the background has nice colors but the lineart itself is really rough, which ruins it. I don't think the water on him should be blue, too.
