This is the Xoanic gate between Aleph and Teth, manifesting the Draconican Current via the evokation of sexual dualism as well as dual headed Opposer, Janus like, in this case via feminine manifestation but in the artwork the formula of Hoor-Set takes precedence.

Notice the Dragon takes the form of the Arch of Nuit.

Pic related is PROBABLY an exegesis on lower forms of initiation via A.'.A.'.

Rosary-1.jpg

>>19414701
Shown here is a magical rosary consecrated to Azha-Qayin, the Ancestral Patron of the Sabbatic Craft Tradition. It was hand-carved by Alogos Dhu'l-qarnen Khidir over the course of two years. Its formation and occult significance is related in 'The Grimoire of the Golden Toad'.

The white disk-beads are individually fashioned from human femur bone. The quarter-marking 'eye' beads are carved from wood: blackthorn, holly, and oak. The quarter-guardian beads, carved in the form of ornate Death's-heads, are fashioned from stag antler. Each of these skull-beads represents a specific deity in the Sabbatic pantheon. The larger pendant bead is an antler-carved image of Qayin, surmounted by a hag-stone, and appended by a graven human tooth. The side counter beads are carved from lapis lazuli, terminated with antler tips. The additional counter string (for counting 1000's of mantic repetitions) shows a small wooden bead carved from mistletoe, an image of the Sabbatic deity Trivagantus, and a larger wooden bead carved from mandrake root. The coloured tassels denote the patronage of specific spirit-families. The entire construction of this magical tool embodies the Rosarium of Midnight. By the arrangement, form and juxtaposition of its beads it encrypts a complete grimoire in and of itself. The transmission of its teaching is thus 'wordless': the Book of A-logos.

So I understand the theory of practising Chaos Magick and a few other summonings techniques. Been successful with some spells, talked to spirits etc. But I never can really decide what I want to cast a spell for. My will and "law of attraction" practices work pretty well. Would casting for success in school and recognition of my art be a good idea? Worried a negative entity might attach itself to it.

I feel like there is something that needs to change before I can associate with that person ever again. I want an end to the tranny shit right away. NO MORE TRANNY SHIT. I can't take it. It's not good now, especially with society going the way it is. So I might just not give any more money. I don't want to fund a tranny loser. I want to only deal with people who are free from the contagion of transsexual insanity. When Autphag wants to deal with me, he will find in himself his masculine identity. I know he's been threadbanned, but part of me does hope he reads this. I want everyone who thinks I'm friends with him to read this and know that I am in many ways not friends with this person. Also this is cool ~

>As a parting tale, it is worth speaking about another fascinating path of influence
into Traditional Craft, namely that of Gypsy beliefs. Indeed, I recall once being told the
Tale of the Uncooling Nail by a Romany fellow:-
>On the night before Christ’s crucifixion, soldiers were sent out to have four long nails forged for the deed. They
approached Jewish, Greek, and Roman smiths, but each refused once they had heard the
nails were for Jesus of Nazareth’s crucifixion. Outside the city gates the soldiers found a
Romany smith. He didn’t ask the need for the long nails so late at night; he just needed
the money. The smith obliged and began making the nails, one by one.
>However, whilst heating the fourth nail in the fire, he asked who they were for. On learning they were for
Christ’s crucifixion, the gypsy ceased his work abruptly and fled. However, the fiery nail
that had been in the forge never cooled down; it remained a glowing spike of blood-red
flame. And, so it is said, the Uncooling ‘Nowl’ will follow the descendants of the
Romany smith wherever they go. It is held that the Romany smith was himself a
descendant of Tubal-cain, the first metal-worker, and he had in turn learned his Art from
Cain.
>Personally, I consider that the Old Craft has now taken up this nail; knowingly! We
have a saying: ‘The way of sacrifice maketh man whole’.

You sure can! Use your finger of your right hand. I wouldn't go doing evocation using my finger and wearing jeans, but for LRP and LRH you should be fine. And when you begin doing them on the astral, you can formulate all the tools you need. But I'm of the opinion that one should always be doing rituals physically as well as astrally. It's important to master the astral, and it's important to master the physical. Probably not in that order, though. You MAY also like

>Barbarous names

Do you think they'll be inherently more powerful for someone who isn't you to use? Crowley says that the senselessness of the barbarous names is key to their effectiveness (but granted he did a bunch of shit that contradicts the sentiment, like actively changing the names to make more sense).
>>
I've been researching on the draconians lately and found this.

"The question is, what is behind this fascist mysticism which so greatly fascinated the masses?
The answer can be found in an analysis of the "proofs" which Rosenberg, in his MYTHUS DES 20. JAHRHUNDERTS," adduces for the correctness of the fascist race theory. He writes:

The values of the race soul which are the driving forces behind the picture of the new world, have not yet become living
consciousness.

[70] Yet soul means race seen from the inside. Conversely, race is the outer world of the soul.
This is an example of the innumerable typically National Socialist phrases. They seem to disclose no meaning;

more than that, they seem to hide any meaning as if intentionally, even from the writer himself. If one does not
know the mass-psychological effectiveness of just such mystical phrases, one will also underestimate their great
irrational political effect. Rosenberg says further:
Race history, therefore, is natural history and soul mysticism at one and the same time. Conversely, the history of the religion of the
blood is the great world history of the ascent and decline of nations, of their heroes and thinkers, of their inventors and artists.
The recognition of this fact, Rosenberg goes on to say, leads to the further recognition that the "struggling of the
blood" and the "inkling of the mysticism of the life process" are not two separate things, but represent one and the
same thing in two different ways. "Struggling of the blood . . ." "mysticism of the life process . . ." "ascent and
decline of nations . . ." "blood poisoning . . ." "Jewish world plague"—all lie in a line which begins with the
"struggling of the blood" and ends in bloody terror against the "Jewish materialism" of Marx and in the massacre
of Jews"

What do you think of it?

Because the "race=soul history" idea is bound up in pseudo platonic old Greek racial theories that they just made up to make themselves feel superior about their culture. Just like every other racial theory ever. Racial consciousness is a barrier to self supremacy not a path to it
>>
>>19418273
I don't agree with the suppositions of anon's quote at all, but you could argue that biological and sociological difference in race and culture lead to paths that are generally more optimal due to genetic and memetic selection of traits. Certain presuppositions underlying practices are fundamentally driven by race and culture and I find many of them utterly alien and difficult to work with because of it. We are tribal, some of what makes us up is genetically based and we have deep shit at play on all sides because of it.

Anything beyond recognition that some shit works better than others because of these factors is nonsense, but it's an important distinction to make.

But, since race is a social construct, you're talking gibberish.

"Again, it is necessary to acknowledge the limitations of the data, and thus of the comparisons themselves. But from the two columns of "annual rates" this much seems clear: New England was at least as active as Old England in finding and prosecuting witches—and probably a good deal more so. Interestingly, the figures look most nearly
equivalent when New England is matched with the county of Essex alone. Essex was beyond doubt a center of witch-hunting within the
mother country; and Essex supplied a disproportionately large complement of settlers for the new colonies across the sea. The linkage is suggestive, to say the least."

Then why is it that ashkenazis have have significantly higher rate of schizophrenia and certain genetic diseases unique to the race, feather indians can't eat the white man's food without serious health problems, and sickle cell anemia is so prevalent in Africans? Liddell (born and died in Essex) also claimed that the prominent occultist Aleister Crowley had been initiated into one of these nine covens as a young man. According to this account, Crowley had been introduced to the coven in 1899 or 1900 by his magical mentor, Allan Bennett. Liddell asserted that Crowley was subsequently ejected from the coven for his misbehaviour. As evidence for these claims, he stated that his own grandfather had been present on three occasions at which Bennett and Crowley met with Pickingill, and that he had seen a photograph in which the three figures are together. When asked to present this photograph for public scrutiny in 1977, Liddell claimed that it was "not available"; when independently asked again in 1983, he asserted that it had been stolen by "interested parties".

There is however another source of stories about Crowley and Witchcraft. In the 1970s W.E. (Bill) Liddell published a series of articles which he claimed were written by pre-Gardnerian Witches who wished to remain anonymous. Liddell himself claimed both Gardnerian and Hereditary initiations, making him a bridge between the two worlds. The articles discussed the activities of George Pickingill, 1816 – 1909, a Witch in a hereditary line eight centuries old who founded nine covens in Canewdon in Essex. In 1994 Michael Howard assembled these articles in The Pickingill Papers, The Origin of the Gardnerian Craft.

In “Gerald Gardner and his Detractors” Liddell (or the anonymous Witch) claims that Allan Bennett was one of Pickingill’s pupils. Bennett was both a member of the Golden Dawn and a Buddhist and Crowley’s first teacher in these spiritual paths. The article claims Bennett passed a third spiritual practice to Crowley – Witchcraft. Bennett introduced Crowley to one of Pickingill’s nine covens. Crowley received the Second Rite in Hereditary Witchcraft but was rapidly expelled; however he used the material he received in later rituals.
>>
>>19418699
Liddell’s story goes on: this means that when Crowley met Gardner the two men discovered they not only shared Masonry but initiation into Pickingill covens. Crowley reproduced from memory the book of Witchcraft rituals he had received from his initiators and this material was one of the sources Gardner used in creating his books. When Crowley affiliated Gardner into O.T.O, Gardner reciprocated by inducting Crowley into Gardnerian Craft.

There is no documentation to substantiate any of these stories. Heselton notes that Ronald Hutton discounts all the stories of Crowley’s involvements with Witchcraft on the grounds that there is no mention of this in his diaries.

Gardner was introduced to Crowley by Arnold Crowther. Crowther’s widow Patricia told Heselton that Crowley had seemed knowledgeable about Witchcraft but wasn’t interested in rituals led by a High Priestess because he “wasn’t the sort to be bossed around by women”. Heselton quotes additional details Gardner provided about that first meeting to John Symonds: “He was very interested in the witch cult, and had some idea of combining it w. the Order, but nothing came of it.”

Gardner also wrote to Cecil Williamson that Crowley was “in the Cult” but found the nudity distasteful, although he highly approved of the Great Rite. Gardner also claimed that Crowley didn’t want to have to kneel to a High Priestess. Heselton immediately quotes sources who find this unlikely. How unlikely is apparent to anyone who has seen a Gnostic Mass in which the priest kneels before the nude (if she chooses) priestess on the altar.

Heselton concludes that Crowley may have said something offhand about knowing about Witchcraft as a form of one-upmanship in his first meeting with Gardner.

the mother letters are AMSh, the father letters are IAV/IAO

AHYH+YHVH=AHYHVH, the three H's are veils for the three mothers producing
AShIAVM the gematria of which is 358 the messiah (note AHYHVH=32=entire tree of life)

AShYMVA can be rearranged to spell AYSh an ancient name of what we call Tiphareth, rooted the word "fire" and AVM “a nut.” This is a reference to God like the center of the nut, around which the shells have hardened, from which the entire tree grows. Thus is the worship of Adonai.

On AHYHVH, AHYHVH = 32 = whole tree of life

AHIHVH = AShIAVM=IAV+AMSH

IAV = IHVH ALOAH VE'DA'AT

IAO=IAV = tiffereth = shemash

MShA = from fire

From fire = secret fire = Kundalini = NChSh

AShIAVM = 358

Anointed one = MShICh = 358
Serpent = NChSh = 358

AShIAVM = Christ and the serpent, male and female, perfect equilibrium.

In my opinion the enochian keys are for the gates of loagaeth/49 gates of understanding particularly in the practice of Gebofal. I believe the point of Gebofal is to more or less integrate each gate/each of the low aspects of creation slowly integrating a higher part burning the tablets into yourself. The Aethyrs being like an Egg. The Purpose of Gebofal then is the hatching of the Egg once someone reaches the final Gate, not the final Aethyr LIL, in which one understands it to be the egg containing all which shall burst and has bursted (da'at-messiah see the sha'are orah) but the final Gate which reveals Ain Soph. The being birthed by this is the Last, Omega, Galvah. GALVH=3+1+30+6+5=45 therefore Galvah is the perfected man, the Church, the Bride of Christ Omega. The completion of Adam. This is the mystery his vision was hinting at as far as my bias says.

There are some methods for obscuring one's work like that, but most of them are built with the assumption that whoever is looking already knows the magician is a magician and just wants to figure out what they're up to. i.e., it would still look suspicious, if not more suspicious to someone like a priest in this scenario.
The closest thing I can think of off the top of my head for non-suspicious-obfuscation is a trick from voodoo and related practices. I can't recall it's official name, but it's basically a reverse voodoo doll. The magician crafts a doll of them self and charges it such that spells launched at the magician get their targeting screwed up and strike the doll instead.
I've never actually used it for this purpose, but I don't see why there's not at least a possibility that it would work if the intent of the doll was changed slightly and it was put in a container or something along with various other items to "craft a visual narrative" so to speak.

The answer is "it depends." in this case it depends on where the eclipse occurs in the chart. Is it this solar eclipse? Briefly, it will mean that the native will have a sun conjunct moon, occurring two degrees from the star Regulus, which is interesting on its own. Further interpretation would require the person to be actually born, so you can chart their asc. and determine in which house that stellar pile-up is occurring. If this is your kid then I hope they wait like a solid two weeks after the eclipse, just because you're going to have a powerful, emotionally tumultuous tiny person on your hands with all that stuff in Leo and that sounds hard haha, for you.

A solar eclipse is always going to occur on a new moon. People born on new moons that aren't eclipses, there's this interpretation of the light of the sun eclipsing the lesser light of the moon, so it's interesting that in a solar eclipse birth chart, we have the exact opposite thing happening.

It's an intense placement. If it's your kid, get an astrologer to interpret their chart after birth.

There's also the whole thing about needing to know the rules to be able to meaningfully break them that comes up right about now in this discussion. Instead I'll just move this forward and get closer to a conclusion.

Most of us are chaos magicians to some degree, but don't want to admit it or don't accept the full paradigm for various reasons. Or you do and spend a period in chaos and come out with a new system. Or you put garbage in and come out with more garbage. Like punk, I think you can maintain the core ethos in part, but the lifestyle and philosophy are untenable due to not being appropriate when conditions change and an overall lack of focus.
>>
>>19421768
If you mean 'most of us are syncretising systems to a greater or lesser extent,' I absolutely agree.
>>
>>19421772
That and we assume that such syncretism is possible and that aspects of ritual can be modified or removed for different/better results. AO Spare also underpins a lot of current occult theory. I could take it further than that, but I'll stop at "most of us are chaos magicians when it is convenient".

Chaos philosophy works when overcoming a rigid Order that is stagnant and broken and is full of valuable heuristics for making Order from Chaos, but isn't well-suited to the middle ground. It's nice to have around, but undermines a balanced, functioning system. Same with the fluid lifestyle that comes with it. We need stability and goals and only the core ethos is useful at obtaining those things outside of the extremes and the rest is anti-ethical to it.

OH you said "the sign of" and I thought you had like a gesture or something. What's the 'correct' version of the symbol, iyo?
>>
>>19421932
Well, it's a gesture insofar as it's traced by the wand. Starting about level with the face, in the center of what will be the lemniscate, counter-clockwise until the lines intersect, then clockwise completing the figure. Then start a crescent (with 'opening' facing upwards) above it, starting at the top left and tracing it down so the bottom line connects with the lemniscate at the center/bottom of the bottom line of the crescent, then complete the crescent by carrying that back to the left and joining it to the starting point. From there, continue clockwise in a circle, aligning the bottom portion of the circle with the bottom portion of the crescent. Finally, point the wand in the center of the circle to create a point.

Sorry if it's not super clear. It's been a while since I've done any technical writing. And as far as I can tell this is universal, but may just be for invoking. The only Rites I know it to be used in are invocations.

"Mark of the Beast" is all it says in Samekh.
The initiations of the A.'.A.'. use an entirely different Beastmark; a simple circle with an X through it ( ) .

This is because of NOX.
LVX is the "Formula of the Cross" as the Cross contains all letters of LVX. The circle'd cross contains all letters of NOX.

The importance Chumbley places on the Signs of the Crossroads (Beastmark and inverted tau in triangle) was my first clue that these rites were directly informed by DEEP work in the A.'.A.'., as the tau in triangle is the form of the Temple of A.'.A.'. initiation, and the Beastmark is proof of your admission to Cadaveris/ThROA.

Interdasting. I read an article someone wrote about the "true" order of NOX signs, saying it was:
Puer, Vir, Puella, Mulier, Mater Triumphans, because that order=ascending the Tree in logical order. I think the guy's assertion was that this is the order that all Thelemic rites should be standardized to, and that other orders given were either blinds or errors or something like that.
>>
>>19422111
The "true" order depends on when, where, how, and why they're used.

The "standard" of initiation is given in Liber Aleph and the 5th Degree OTO where the NOX signs become a substitute for LVX via an inversion of the IAO formula.

>O, the Sign of Orus
>A, the Dance of Asi
>I, the Joy of Iaccus

>>19422124
>sign of the blazing star

>>
>>19422124
When one "gives" the signs of NOX, what kind of oration is given? Does it just depend on which rite they're utilized in? I ask because the LVX signs are typically given and analyzed the same way each time, and I'm basing my understanding of NOX on my understanding of LVX, as a 'progression' of same.
>>
>>19422128
That's my meager understanding (no 5th will confirm my configuration, but I've been told by an A.'.A.'. head that I'm "very close" and that moreover my configuration is equal to theirs before reaching that degree), but there may well be a deeper mystery at work here: V.V.V.V.V. .... how many points are on a pentagram? Five. How many Vs are in Crowley's MT motto? Five.

>>19422142
Depends on your understanding and reason for use. I'd default to either "up the tree" or "what the 5th config is".

Morrison, yes, but Hine? Hine wrote some really good shit.

This is true.

This is also true.

What are the various orations that align with the different NOX configurations, or where can I look for them? I have seen the one you gave above, but then Thelemapedia, in its descriptions of the signs seems to indicate there are multiple ways of 'verbally expressing' the signs as you give them?

Thank you, a lot, for discussing this with me.

I dunno why anyone would consider Hine a tool.
He's completely abandoned Chaos for Trika.

That might be why.

>>
>>19422182
No not really. Joltz around if it's spark. Like drunken fly. Sometimes I see these sparks on people with positive emotional reaction.

The mist... It's like gray white cloud floating just edge of my wiev or then it "hides". Just like when I was approaching my couch it went hiding behind it.

These two are different phenomenon. sorry for the long wait. I was practicing.
>>
>>19422193

Nope. Waaayyyyy too big to fit the description. Besides these sparks seem to behave better like electrons. Those cloudy gray-white mist lumps are less than teddybear size.

That's not a big news. I've been working for few years now.

Thanks! I'm going to watch this full documentary. GIPS ME GUUSPUMPS!

guys!

Forgot about this til just now but the Association for Young Astrologers is hosting a "dinner and drinks" style Q&A online tonight, in which the inimitable Austin Coppock is passing out free knowledge on the eclipse season.

Austin's practice is firmly rooted in historical source texts and classical astrology. He's been published with Three Hands Press and is like, an actual occultist, not just an astrologer.

Austin's talk on fixed stars blew my brain out of my skull, I hope some of you show up to this thing so we can chat about it, honestly. The link will be here - https://zoom.us/j/567317410

Yeah no problem I have gotten so excited about things as to be accused of "shilling" them before. I just believe that if you're going to be doing something anyway, you might as well see if ya an make some money at it! Has anyone seen the thread where the dud is swearing the KJV Bible has absolutely no contradictions, according to his hours of arduous research? Does anyone know of ANY religious compilation that *doesn't* contradict itself?

>>
>>19422619
I think the Pali Canon has teachings which are contradictory at a blush, but is internally aware of this and teaches that the Buddha said what the interlocutor needed to hear at that time. Classic examples are when a monk is about to leave because he can't get a girl out of his head so buddha promises to get him laid with a bunch of goddesses if he stays and practices because the buddha knew if he practiced he'd come to understand he didn't need that and release the buddha from his obligation, and the buddha comparing someone who refuses to practice until the buddha answers some metaphysical questions to a dying man who won't take medicine until he's satisfied with the doctor's discourse on the nature of the arrow, the posion and the attacker. The man would die by the time he could get a satisfactory answer. I've heard the case made that the abhidhamma philosophy contradicts the sutta's because asserting that dhammas are the fundamental existent is inconsistent with dependent origination but don't know enough to make a claim one way or the other. It's a subtle point and the objections may be to commentators more than the abhidhamma pitaka itself.

Nagarjuna, who would know better than me, supposedly said one can't quote any given scripture as sufficient evidence because they contradict one another but he may have been referring to scriptures that didn't have equivalents in the pali canon.

It's a spirit I've contacted when working Gebofal, he is the angel I saw when entering the gate corresponding to the first key.

Hieroglyphic monad would be best. Without trying to spoil too much of his nature. He is deeply related to Hagonel but he is not Hagonel.

I've evoked the spirit many times and I wish to see how you lot will interact and experience the spirit. Bor-ab-mah. I'm a sucker for data and looking at multiple accounts of the same interactions to see if any variables or the like arise.
