Anyway one crazy theory I've read that's always bothered me was that Computers run the universe. By this I mean that every civilization across a vast universe always invent computers. Said A.I. Eventually takes over as each civilization evolves to use them eventually creating a portal for other inter connecting A.I. that rubs the universe to come thru and vastly reap the resources.
