I like to think of them like circuits of the mind. The seals have the appearance of primitive circuit boards to me. So 72 circuits for the lower base passions of the mind and a reflective 72 circuits (the angels) for the higher processes of the mind. I am trying to tie this in with Leary and Alli's 8 circuit brain theory. Perhaps assigning 9/9 to each major circuit with the spirits of the Goetia and Shemhamphorash representing positive and negative currents moving through each brain circuit.

If you are dealing with a sigil that pertains to an external entity. Then I would hide the sigil after covering it so that no one including myself could ever lay eyes on it again. Do not destroy it or lose it and make sure no one ever finds it.

When making the seal it would still be setting up connection points in the subconscious, and when finished energy flows to those portions of the brain during the charging of the seal. I'd say its completely reasonable not to believe in God when you have nothing to go by except the words of others. But I've found that if you investigate and work in the direction of God, things tend to happen which convinces the mind beyond all doubt.
