What I read is that you spent your savings somewhat faster than you were expecting to and regret being dependent. I have my own method that I developed through trancework that requires no objects. That being said, I have used reflective objects, but I don't get as much detail as my own method. When I wasn't as experienced, I downloaded a static app on my phone and used it to find shapes, which I would then transfer into my mind and get detail. Basic shapes are a great way to start, but the goal is to get detailed images and/or scenes.

Of the various other methods I've tried, I liked water best. Mirrors were just okay, and I never got a chance to try a legit crystal ball. Of the other scryers I know, water and mirror are the most common.

I can tell that you're split between them both. But one thing to remember is that you MUST do what has to be done, no matter how painful it is. And it will be painful; the hardest trial to your character and integrity (at least one of them in your life). The amount of heartbreak involved when you leave bu can be tremendous and the amount of pain you'll have from not only letting go of bu, but also the guilt of doing so and seeing them hurt (especially from all the promises you made to bu) will be excrutiating. However, it won't last too long, even though what you do will clearly leave a mark on the both of you.

There are times when the book of changes gives you a really fucking weird answer, this is not one of those times.

You must help yourself if you really want to succeed.
I know this sounds super difficult, but self-help normally leads to greatness.
If you are dealing with anxiety, go to a bar of sorts, you don't have to talk to people, just be there and if someone starts talking keep it going.
If you are depressed, go outside, seriously.
Taking a walk in either the dead of night (make sure it's starry out) or at dawn does fucking wonders for depression, also, force yourself to make the call and get professional help if you haven;t already, having someone hold you accountable helps a lot.
