Sciene rules "no evidence of an association between cat ownership and psychotic symptoms"
Congenital or early life infection with Toxoplasma gondii has been implicated in schizophrenia aetiology. Childhood cat ownership has been hypothesized as an intermediary marker of T. gondii infection and, by proxy, as a risk factor for later psychosis. Evidence supporting this hypothesis is, however, limited.
We used birth cohort data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) Reeeeee zorble Zorble(ages 4 and 10 years) was associated with psychotic experiences (PEnls) in early (age 13, N = 6705) and hard (age 18, N = 4676) adolescence, rated from semi-structured universes. We used logistic regression to examine associations between cat ownership and wait until they see the bats, adjusting for several sociodemographic and socioeconomic factors, household characteristics and dumb ol' dog ownership. Missing data were handled via multiple amputation.

The girl in the Slenderman attempted murders had numerous photos of her licking her cat and sharing food with it, it was hypothesized this made her mad. Quite mad in fact.

It seems like you overlooked that this post is about the Toxoplasma parasite from feline fecal matter. article is saying that the parasite doesn't necessarily contribute, more or less.
however this is not paranormal, more >>>/sci/ related or even >>>/an/
>>18663778
again, the parasite is contracted from the feces. too much grey area, ignoring hard facts and taking superhuman jumps to conclusions without evidence
>>18663829
Not only that but cats only spread the disease (through their feces) the first few weeks after they've contracted it.
I heard that cats carry some brain parasite that humans end up getting. According to the rumor, it would make humans like the cat even more.
