I'm not a reader and if you don't mind my two cents I'd say it depends when and your feelings behind the question. I think the future can change and if you stay the course after a reading you'll get the results in that reading. If you decide to change something, let's say not talk so much to the person that a reader said you'd have a relationship but it would be rocky, you may not enter into one at all and now your future person will be someone else. I think it's also what emotion you give to the query. Do you really like this person or dread the question, I think it has an effect. Overall I also think the cards or whatever reading tool is used is more of something that impels but not compels your future. Could be also a bit if they see you in a relationship with someone but it isn't the person you are talking about. Some readers are more intune with their methods and others are still learning. My method is to draw to cards and let the mind write a story in a meditative state, based on the query at hand. The cards are not really needed but you might think of them as training wheels. Eventually you will get the hang of it and see more clearly defined images in your head.

The downside of this particular method is that it often portraits as a vague memory rather than a clear image, think of ir as a dream in which you really don't hold control on what you see. The upside is that it is often pretty personal and easy to interpret since the imagery comes from within.

It has personally worked fairly well for me, even better than Tarot but it does requires way more concentration for that extra effectiveness.

I get the vision of a chain gang breaking rocks in the sweltering heat of summer. To me it seems to symbolize a real concern of commitment and what it is that you mean to each other. I'm aware of it and I'm trying. I was born into a situation that created such a severe imbalance that I have great strengths but also weaknesses and here I am 26 still trying to unknot everything.

Job yes J no. I see a man staring over a precipice and they make a leap. Eventually the land unharmed on the ledge of a cave leaving behind another person on the ledge they jumped from. Adventure at the cost of leaving behind people who are less eager to join that trip or challenge. The cave reminds me a lot of a n old smugglers treasure cove or generic d&d adventure cave.
