I didn't ask what /should/ be. We all know that we're supposed to be as unbiased as possible. However, my experiments suggest rather strongly that the diviner's ego is inherently in the reading.

To give a brief summary, I used the famous future romantic partner queries to assess whether or not the reader's notions of love would influence the reading, hypothesizing that the reader plays matchmaker according to their personal ideas of love.

I tracked results with multiple readers, all of whom were skilled, and I ended up meeting all of the people predicted. However, I found, either through personal acquaintance with said readers or by reading the readers myself, that the matches were appropriate according to what the reader considered relevant or important in a romantic match or relationship, not me.

I was wondering your thoughts on this, especially since my theory relates to my larger theory of divination being the result of calculations within the diviner's unconscious mind, rather than through divine intervention of any sort.
