According to that map of flight patterns, there's a flight that goes directly from Johannesburg to Sydney, flying a southernly great circle route, and there's no reason to go to Dubai at all, as that's much longer.

On the other hand, according to the polar projection that they call a map, if you're in Los Angeles and you want to get to Sydney, Australia, who should take off from LAX and head northwest and fly in a straight line.

This isn't evidence for flat earth, it's evidence against it.
