I initially saw the blurry outline of a woman holding a large staff, which quickly transformed into a cartoon frog holding a staff. Then I saw the woman more clearly: young, blonde hair, light skin. I kept seeing these blinding flashes of light constantly, somewhat distracting.

I focused on the girl and saw her flash on and off: I'm one, she started bleeding slowly out of her eyes. In the other, she remained normal. They kept flashing back and forth between each other. Everything went dark, then I saw a plane flying through the air. Past that, I kept seeing flashes of what looked like a bipedal mammalian monster.

Well, I'm glad I don't have epilepsy, but I unfortunately can't make sense of this. Maybe it makes sense to you. It not, you get my apologies and no request for a reading in exchange.

Your friend is full of shit. The tradition of receiving your first deck as a gift comes from apprentice and family traditions, where the novice was given a fitting deck according to the master's assessment of the novice and what the master considers most fitting.

The other people are right to a certain extent. You can read for yourself, but it will be tainted by your own bias. I find I give more accurate readings when I know as little about the situation as possible. Having a vested interest in the outcome of the reading makes it difficult to read it accurately because you can't be neutral. So these people who counsel against it are giving good advice, but it is for pragmatic reasons, nothing else.

So, for about the past year i've been having severe panic attacks developing/revolving aroud thanatophobia and a general loss of self. it's gotten completely out of control. As far as divination goes, the future is always changing and I have broken "sad" timelines that were supposed to happen in the past, I have a theory its all just based on subconscius calculations of what its more likely to happen, but there is something, lets say...divine inside all of us, and if you let that inner voice to speak and you listen and therefore act, things change for better.

Im a student, so I am currently not financially stable, although I come from a middle-high class, dress decently, read a lot, etc etc, I have lots of options in the future to grow from a financially point of view.
