Feels like a Rambo situation, between and the other employees, in terms of performance. One has to develop a vocabulary and toolset about things. Well this is awkward, I do believe I already did a reading for this question in the last thread. Unless you're another Leo with projects going on in their life, which is quite possible. I mean I can do another look see if you'd like, but generally a lot of folks tend to feel like asking the same question over and over is kind of a not so great practice since it just leads to confused answers or leads to inaction. I see a large tree filled with a variety of different birds of all sorts of species chilling out on the branches. Eagles, pigeons, robins, vultures, and a couple other birdies all enjoying a nice perch and not really bugging each other despite some being in a predator and prey relationship. They all seem to be doing their own thing. There is a sense of unity here, and the tree seems to be the common bond for them all.

This may signify a connection between the roots of something, and the effect it has to grow into something that impacts individuals from many different places in life. Some of the birds had made nests and had little baby birds in them. Strangely enough some of the other birds were feeding babies that clearly weren't theirs. This may imply a type of communal unity or type of social help process. To me it sounds like a good foundation is the main focus here. Create a strong basis and set in your roots deep and you may have something that can bring together a whole host of differing individuals in unlikely cooperation and success.

This was an odd one, but here goes hope it makes more sense to you than it did to me.

I got the image of a large concrete wall like a dam or really just like a giant slab of concrete. Alongside this wall a large trailer truck (you know like one of those trucker's rigs) drives along at the bottom of it. It drives parallel to the wall and begins to speed up until a series of hands emerge from the rims of the times, a full arm extends from the vehicle, one out of each tire. The truck then turns sharply and using the newly found hands, climbs up this wall like some sort of spider made of truck and arms. Kinda an offputting image to say the least.

To me this seems to suggest a sudden paradigm shift in something that is normal and everyday. The drive felt like a chore, the everyday, then out of nowhere it did what was least expected of it and scaled what seemed to be an insurmountable and oppressive wall. To me it gives the impression of a strange and sudden event where you least expect it. hope that made more sense to you than it did to me. That was an odd one.

While very (scarily even) accurate it is kind of hard to figure out in terms of what happened. I'll post it here and hopefully you or other readers can help give me some insight.

So, I decided to pray for the first time in a few years after rediscovering my faith. I stated that if God gave me a sign which I could only interpret as him then I would immediately devote my life to him and go to church etc. As I'm saying this, a flash of light appears out of nowhere slightly out of my line of sight, and what I can only describe as a clump of "energy" (it was basically just a teal kind of coloured blob) appeared. It moved across my room and I could feel nothing but fear. After a few seconds of watching it move around my room I asked God and the Archangel Micheal to protect me and sure enough the blob disappeared. At the time, I really didn't think that this was God, as the fear I felt was incredible, it was truly scary. So I basically said that I'm not ready to devote myself to God yet (going back on my word).

The cards you pulled make a lot of sense, the only problem being that I don't think it can be both a delusion/illusion and then also me going back on my word.

Are there any interpretations that anyone here would be so kind to share with me? Was it just wishful thinking (which I don't think it was, I was terrified)? Or did I just piss off God? I know a lot of people here are atheist/agnostic but I'd like your opinions and explanations too. Thanks.

Alright, looking over the spread again, there are some things that stick out to me now that didn't before. In particular, The Page of Swords and Two of Pentacles could mean taking on responsibility, the surrounding cards like the reversed Four of Swords suggest too much responsibility as it could mean rushing into something. Most likely a commitment that was not followed up on, signified by most of the pentacle cards and possibly the reversed Eight of Rods.

I interpreted The Moon as self-deception for whatever reason, but there are no cards that reinforce this, the Page of Swords actually opposes this in a way.
In your case, The Moon most likely meant fear.

This is the first reading I've had so I didn't know what to expect but this reading was spot on from what I've seen so far
I am living with a friend and his family but we act like we are blood relatives
It's a bit of a strange situation to explain to people
I am still close to my birth family, both my moms and dads side so I have no idea where the issue might come from or who might be the one tricking me

Raider-waite is what Im working with currently, it seems like the modern standard. Doing some research it seems that Waite was a more trustworthy guy than Crowley. considering Waite was the one who wasn't thrown out of the hermetic order for being a drama queen, I decided to go with that one as opposed to the deck of thoth. I was also interested in the tarot of marseille, but it looks like a flatter version of the waite deck. The only thing Im not sure about in regards to the waite deck is the arrangement of 8 being strength, and 11 justice. It seems the waite deck is exclusive in this.

Is there any history on the use of spreads? I know celtic cross is the current standard but I cant really find anything at all on where it, or any other tarot spreads come from.

Not an aussie - but a canuck.
Hopefully things will play out as you read, anon. Its a very empowering spread from the sounds of it and god knows I could use some of that right now. The Magician and Knight of Swords were quite interesting. The magician - could be referring to my field - I'm in engineering and looking to work at a nuclear facility as a goal. I could see morally ambiguous or "dirty" questions arising there if alone just the nature of working with nuclear or power in general. Like flat out hit some major notes with the knight interpretation when you talked about focus - I've been battling rampant Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for a few years now - so bad I'd be hospitalized twice, recently got out of therapy, and am just on medication now, so to me it sounded like the interpretation was cautioning me about letting that overtake my life.
