As someone who's madly passionate about history, this soldier looks like he's suffering from a lot of stress, but doesn't seem "insane" or even really "shell shocked" quite yet. He may be close, but not quite.

Scouser here, and like most Liverpudlians the Hillsborough disaster is something that I've not been able to get away from for many years. I don't know anybody who was personally involved but the city as a whole seems to feel the pain.

Some people can't handle living like this. So far, I've been good about it and haven't had suicidal thoughts really. I've been lucky.
