Wendigo's are fucking terrifying man. Deformed spirits of people who turned to cannibalism before starving to death.

Old mountaineer tales say they only eat meat, and it's said you can let them in and feed them to appease them for a while, but this only makes the haunting worse as their hunger is insatiable.

Some say that the Wendigo never stop growing, and can eventually become massive towering beasts that look like moving trees, and that there is an island somewhere where they all congregate.

Actually, Bloodborne's art direction drastically influenced the way I draw my creature designs. The tattered-looking fur and Holy Beast image are direct results of that game's awesome enemies.

I'm aware of the book, and I read the original Beowulf story back in high school. Coincidentally, I even drew Grendel's mother as extra credit back then (well before her silly sexy human version in the Beowulf film.)

But yeah, I think I could draw Grendel tomorrow. I'll try to avoid the film version, or at least see what's worth keeping/retracting from it, and use the story's description alongside my own ideas to make draw his design.

I really enjoyed this one, especially due to the minor research I did into Grendel and reacquainting myself with his depiction in the poem. I used the book covers for John Gardner's Grendel as reference, too. Your book recommendation must've really resonated with me, lol.

Thank you! I combined two versions of Gardner's book covers (one of a bare muscular Grendel and the fur-covered Grendel) when I drew up this design. However, I'll try to make up for the lack of abundant fur with Grendel's mother since I vaguely remember drawing her with tons of it.

Not really, that would be the retarded movie. Only a /d/eviant would feel the urge to fap to this. The book describes her as fat and kind of "fleshy" (but with fur too), but it doesn't have to be 100% like the book, and with her position and shaggy fur, it's hard to tell how thin she is unless you're looking really closely. Maybe this is her in her early years.

I rather like that interpretation, especially if it adds a tragic angle to her and hints of a former, fading beauty due to some horrific condition/curse/etc.

(I'm a sucker for traumatic monster designs thanks to the Soul series' and Bloodborne's take on creature concepts.)

Sentence supernatural abilities (I thought when I saw better make him immortal) are very similar to those of Reaper.

I can prove though perhaps only have been inspired by Todd McFarlane Spawn and are tired of the typical human skull to represent Death....
My character is called Crime Sentence or Sentence.


I hope it serves much out of character that others have invented.

It would be arrogant and contradict many personal principles, but be aware that this character has characteristics very similar to mine.

No one can say that is a lie and just want to be attention whore but I want to make clear and remain anonymous, that character should be called Sentence.

Actually, the left one is a Maine Coon (but the Himalayan breed look very similar) and the left is a Siamese (but again the Birman looks very similar too). They're multi-breeds, I guess!

Oh, I thought Siamese, but I wasn't 100% sure, and I might've said tabby for the other one, but I see a Maine Coon now. It's a little harder to tell in black and white. But you still did a good job.

It's kinda based on a dream. A man is siting on a white floor. His feet has some sort of "plastic" that allows him to see the flesh covering his feet's bones, but said flesh is melting. His arms have a weird white plastic that has laughing faces all over it and his chest a crying face of a baby.

A claw is holding his head. The pinky finger is piercing the skull, another is piercing his left eye, another one is scratching the skin of his head and the last one is ripping the cheek open.

The man is smiling and seem happy. Another claw is holding a big needle to his chest.
