It's at least part of what lies behind John Dee's system. Honorius is basically the root of western angel magic as it's come down to us.

Does making the seal really make spells more powerful? Does anyone have experience/experiences using this?

After reading a bit about Honorius.. he doesn't sound very godly or angelic. *original poster*
