Wait
This was found in France yesterday. Same area?

We are on the right path
Reddit fag found a Cicada tag two days ago on a bike path to Villafountaine

I think it was not the same place at all. The guy with the bike was near Lyon I believe (like 500 km away from the coordinates).

There's something bugging me:

1. The URL to that capitalism picture contains the coordinates
2. The capitalism picture contains a link to the girl's forehead picture.
3. The girl's forehead picture has a phone number written on it.
4. When calling the phone number, coordinates are spoken.

Why are the spoken coordinates from (4) the same as the ones from (1)? Why all these unnecessary steps? Or are the spoken coordinates from (4) slightly different and the ones from (1) are there to mislead us?
>>
>>17781928
>Why
because it's a shitty arg, anon.

Kind of strange to see Istanbul get bombed again.
Wasn't one of the Mobi clues about Istanbul recently? Getting this strange feeling they are predicting major upheaval in Europe.Clues have all been European based lately
>>
>>17782163
Wait , did that happen on 6/6/16 ?
>>
>>17782525
on 6/6/16 ? nothing.
but on 6/6/44 it was D-Day.

Did you really believe you were alone?
>>
>>17782872
Ok. I have a friend, but its night there now.
I will ask.
>>
>>17782525
In Istanbul, a Mobi poster went up and 12 hours later, it was blown up by Isis, along with 10 German tourists. Chat on IRC's was that some people think Isis hates Cicada 3301 because of their esoteric ideas. Infidels R Us LOL
>>
>>17782882
What is a Mobi poster?
>>
>>17782882
The said poster got killed? That has to be a coincidence; I doubt Isis cares that much about Cicada or the people puzzling around it. Finding the said poster would have been a difficult task, and all of that isn't really popular to begin with.
Probably just splash damage -- wrong place wrong time.
>>
>>17782911
Well they'd better watch where they're aiming in the future. Targeting Cicada would be tantamount to genocide.
>>
>>17782932
Was it someone from Cicada who got killed or someone trying to figure out their puzzles (like us)?
>>
>>17782944
I'm not going to believe anyone was killed unless it can be proven. I'm just saying that Islam only has a finite number of chances to play dumb.
>>
>>17782955
can we concentrate on the coordinate?
>>
>>17782969
Didn't Reddit find a Cicada tag in that area or what?
>>
yep, but the tag alone is irrelevant
that's why we think something is burried there
>>
>>17782969
For that we need a fellow frenchfriend in the area to go check things out. And right now it's night (1 am), so it will have to wait. Some peeps said they'd go in the previous thread. Dunno if they went today or plan to go soon, wait and see...
>>
>>17782983
Oh, so just the logo. I thought it meant a QR code or something.
>>
>>17781726
I will be hitch-hiking through both Germany and France in the next week, and since I don't have a set schedule or don't care much about soccer, I might check those coords out.
>>
>>17782990
afaik it was just a (poorly drawn?) cicada logo some french anon found by chance while hopping his bike. But it was nowhere near the coordinates.
>>
cicada 3301 os a hoax
the dude who makes it gave me 15 dollars on fiverr to print a page and glue it to a lamp post in budapest

And you believe that they were the guy who makes it because...?
>>
>>17783003

>>
>>17782998
Many are sure that the Coord in Beaumont, France are where something is burried. Better take it a look, try to take a small shovel or something?
>>
>>17783012
>hitch-hiking with a shovel
Somehow I'm not sure that's a good idea...
>>
>>17783021

Now are you seriously tellin me your gonna pay some faggot 15 dollars you dont even know on fiverr to post this piece of paper that holds some crucial piece of the grand puzzle ?

or is it rather some board rich kid who goes on fiverr spending a few bucks to get the worlds autists thinking about some majot stuff...
>>
>>17783043
I would. Tottaly plausible

This guy gets it.
Cicada was intended to be done if fairly small groups - They've said after previous challenges that they're disappointed with the amount that the solvers work with others and focus on the end, not the puzzle itself. Lurk here and try figure it out yourself if you like.

Somebody is holding out. My guy, who is on vacation from Toledo, Spain, was there for an hour. Others were too. He says someone told him and his Gf that something "significant" was found an hour before he got there. He asked questions, and was told only that it "mattered" Please somebody be man enough to speak up and update us. You are so right. Cicada did indicate exactly that. Its the reason I think Mobi is a Cicada experiment in reaching out to a whole new arena. If so, they have succeeded already. Tons of anons paying attention. There was the initial puzzles, and then the Liber, which was philosophy based. maybe Mobi is the next metamorph.

PGP Nazi 2012 was a long time ago Romney was running, Migrants were still in the ME. They did not say anything. They used one word, Verify On facebook, they just found the 314 video was posted on January 5th, before the tweet, and it also had same exact phrase Seek and you will be found" You refuse to accept reality. I can believe you or the time date stamps and data. Which do I chose? Go back to your bitter cicada solvers group gramps. Mobi is Cicada, its clear

I've been playing around with the Rhapody audio file. I managed to find the female vocals around the middle, but I can't make any sense out of it (all I found is bits of 1-2 seconds of singing in some language I can't identify). Did anyone make progress on that?
>>
>>17794106
I am studying it now and it seems like you have to slow it down and reverse it. Running it through programs now. What are you using to analyze?
>>
>>17794122
I'm using Audacity.
I applied a high pass filter because there seemed to be quite a bit of frequencies above 10khz, which aren't normally audible. Then slowed it x4.
I tried reversing but it didn't reveal anything.
What I notice however is interruptions in the vocals, like it was abruptly cut in small fragments and spread around...
>>
There is a pre reversed slow version on youtube.

The voice seems to sing "muuusiiiic"
But unsure. Maybe lowering the pirch will help
>>
>>17794158
Found it on youtube. Sounds much clearer than what I got, I must have ruined it with all those filters...
>>
The one by nick?
I think he could lower the pitch a bit more
>>
>>17794177
Yes that one.
Not sure about the pitch, the woman might just be singing quite high after all.
>>
>>17794158
Yup
I am hearing muuuusiiic as well, and more after that. Like istamesak?
>>
Music is the message. Thats what I think it says. Audacity filters it to death.
Just try slowing it down and lowering pitch
>>
>>17794196
Yea I just did that, works much better than the overly complex crap I tried earlier...

Update
So a metal detector was used and there is all sorts of metal in the ground, which is to be expected. We go back Monday or Tuesday and if anyone has an idea where to look, please inform. I'm not a 100% but as far as I know, the "right" way, is to turn it the other way, but it changes as the Fuphark devolops. And "they" found out, that alot of the rune that turned the so called wrong way, was nothing more, than when we today don't always end up writing the same way.

Speaking of pi.mobi, I happened to click the home button and get to the /home.html page. It was covered in hex which turned out to be a PNG picture. The said PNG picture showed a castle tower in ruins with a QR code printed over the whole picture.

That seems narrow minded of him. here is what I think. The 2012 and 2013 puzzles were purely fle decrypting, and when Liber Primus entered into the equation, it represented a mystical element. You have to remember that January 5th is the Catholic "feast of the epiphany", so the whole idea of a Catholic pilgrimage was there all along. 314 is the area code o St Louis. So we have to find connections with St Maurice, St.Louis, Istanbul ( where does that fit in?) and 314 aka Pi

From this guy Michele Napo on that 314 video.

Oh, I don't know if you noticed, but that's a plague painting, from the black death period.
Evveryone was dying, there was no cure, something is going to happen in the future, capitalism will rule, the poor will die, I remember a prophecy frome the "Madonna of Anguera" I don't know how to say that in english
I'm not such a religious guy, but this prophecy has something strange
I will wait for the 6th of January (There says "A man apparently good, the antichrist, will gain strong power. This action will be on the day of a saint, the one that was called by god and in that moment fell from his horse "St.Paul")
The prophecy is really long but hm
Anyways the key to see the future is in the past I think
The guys quote can be seen here, and he says he is not English, but his YT channel is not a ghost, its a couple of years old. So , go to 314 vid and scroll comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzA_Le3Iq_w

Thats true,
Also, looks like the tweet from Cicada and the 314 video originally called "Found" went up within 2 hours of each other, with the video going up first !
From a poster named Pete Benson on youtube.Cicadas tweet was published on Jan. 5th 2016 at 7:44 PM GMT
PGP Signature made Thu 31 Dec 2015 07:01:07 PM EST -> 11:01 PM GMT
Mugsy Tokes Castellanos posted link to 314 (named Found) video on Jan. 5th 9:26 PM GMT
Your youtube API says 2016-01-05T17:27:24.000Z 000Z means 00 Zulu time zone or UTC/GMT
So 314 video was uploaded on 5:27:24 PM on Jan 5th GMT"

The video was seen after it went up on 4chan, I think. It showed up on facebook. The Pete guy says the tweet went up at 7.44 pm GMT, which is actually 12.44 PST, so that actually means tweet from Cicada went up the next day. Whatever it is, it predates Cicada. I think when Cicada said seek and you will be "found" , it meant finding the "found" video

Could you elaborate on this please? Before, someone mentioned D-Day, but that was during WWII. If you have a new trace that's somehow related to WWI, we might just look 100 years back from now and find another clue. If we find a connection between the two already known coordinates, we might find another one.

The coordinates in France lie in the hills surrounding Verdun, where the French and Germans slaughtered each other for months in WW1 during one of the war's largest battles. And like the other anon mentioned, exactly 100 years ago today the battle would have been raging on since it started in February 1916.

Considering this it's highly likely that the clue in these coordinates must have some reference to the first world war.

In addition, this image
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_of_Capitalist_System
where the coordinates were hidden was created a couple years before the war started
>>
>>17803056
And looking at the road into this cemetery of a village, its completely empty. That might relate to "empty path" and the coordinates might relate to "The numbers are the direction' Its starting slowly to make sense. There could actually be something important buried there, at St Maurice church. Interesting that French and Germans were literally slicing themselves to death in those woods. reading about the battle and Feb 24th 2016.Ugly stuff.
>>
>>17803056

I'm not so sure about my initial thought - yes, Verdun was a massive battle, but the other place, located in the German town of Hardthausen am Kocher (formerly a smaller town called Lampoldshausen, but some smaller towns were merged into Hardthausen in the 70's) was never a battleground in WWI like Verdun... I'm neither German nor historian, but after some short Google-searches I couldn't find anything about the location as interesting as the French location. Only "specialty" in the German one is that whatever might be there could be under or in a tree.
>>
link to discord chat?
>>
>>17803094
Yeah, it was a hell of a battle. Most artillery every dropped per square meter in history. But I wonder about "the numbers are the direction." I mean, it's obvious that the coordinates are the "direction" so surely the phrase must be related to something else? Perhaps a street sign or something to do with the church/town.
>>
>>17803140
Was there an original PGP message with the clue that led you guys up to this point?

If not, I have bad news for you.
>>
>>17803140
I suspect so, or, if someone on the IRC is correct, then the 314 video with Michael Haydn's music was also a clue, and there is something buried near the church.metal detectors may be useless because we do not know if whatever is there ( if there is anything) is metal, and there are so many metal fragments all over the area. I am sure WW1 collectors search the town for relics.
>>
>>17803149
Yes and no. The tweet said numbers are the direction, the Found video now called 314 also had same message as tweet and that ties it into Mobi. Cicada has not always used PGP, as you may not know. The MP3 with the song and magic Square, and also the "for those who have fallen behind" message were unsigned.

There is some other sound overlayed on the Haydn piece that had to have been generated digitally using modern techniques. There is more to this piece than meets the ear initially.

The image is a spectral representation of the sound in question.

I have pitched down the part played in isolation at the start of rhapody.mp3, you can listen to it here:

http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=19503508919460988184

It also gets reintroduced later in the piece at around 1:49-2:10. I believe there is significance to this.

There is also some electric guitar overlayed from the 1 minute mark to around 1:22 which has been mixed well into the piece - this is clearly a contemporary recording or new elements have been overlayed with an existing recording. I will try and find the origin of this recording as it has clearly been produced to a high standard and I don't believe this is insignificant.

I will investigate further.

Very good work. I am a musician ( Viola)
The Rhapsody work is first rate. Serious composition skills, with a nod toward middle Romantic period, but strangely original as well.
Michael Haydn's mass was considered a inspiration for Mozart's requiem. Please let us know your results It seems the music is somehow coded and we need to investigate this carefully.

Bill?
I am not Bill.
>>
>>17803292
Bill Viola. Visual Artist. One of his performance was used in the first part of the pi.mobi puzzle, int the Despierta video.
>>
Cicada solvers are obsessed with PGP and loose everyones respect when they miss clues. This guy was the frist guy to call out those stupid cicada solvers like Nox Populi.

im on the german coordinates, they point to a cherry tree. Nothing found. Im surounded by fields. Should i look for something specific ?
Also my time here is running out, verdun was closer to my home.
>>
>>17803368
you really have should go to Beaumont. Beumont is the only confirmed coords
>>
>>17803368
As I said above, as it's a tree, there might be something in or under the tree... have you climbed it?
>>
>>17803335
Oh. I get it.
Had to google that. is Bill Viola suspected of being part of Cicada? I play Viola, the instrument, and also some violin, but really, I am pretty rusty. I did play in a youth orchestra and then in a local community symphony, but in no way do I consider myself a pro LOL
>>
>>17803368
Thx.
Correct coordinates are probably french one since 49°15'33"N 5°24'30"E fits the url filename .mobi/491533052430
>>
Looks like ImaZeroes has joined the thread. He spells first as "frist"
Ardent Cicada hunter closely connected to Cicada solvers.
>>
>>17803414
Tried it for the lulz, but nothing visible under and on the tree. Dont think the creator(s) would climb a tree.
If more people are needed at verdun i might join. I went to german cord because we already had some to check verdun.

Is it confirmed that the Rhapody.mp3 is a piece from Michael Haydn with a few cicada additions?
If so, what's the name of the piece?
>>
>>17803556
why not compare differences to find out what has been added/removed?
>>
>>17803556
I believe he did not say Rhapsody was by Michael Haydn. I believe he is saying both music pieces have codes in them, or were enhanced. The Rhapsody piece is a Romantic era sounding piece, 80 years after Haydn.
>>
>>17803556
How is it confirmed?
Its not.
Only the 314 music is confirmed as Michael Haydn.
>>
>>17803368
Beaumont is where you need to look I think. When can you be there?
>>
>>17803561
That's precisely what I want to do, thus my asking. I cannot compare if I don't have two items to compare, duh. And Haydn has many pieces, so I'm not going to compare all of them.

>>17803606
Do you mean it is an existing piece (chosen by cicada) or that it is a new piece (made by cicada) in that Romantic era style?

>>17803635
I was just asking since I saw the Haydn name pop up while people were discussing the piece. Thanks for making it clear.
>>
>>17803697
I shazammed the new song It appears to be created by Cicada. Its very good
>>
Hallo everyone.
So Beaumont is where we should look.
Secondly, the Michael Haydn requiem is what is on the 314 video. Cicada released a different piece of music they call Rhapsody, Just to be clear. I will research St Maurice next, and post my findings.
>>
Sorry maybe ill be shitted on for this, im fairly stupid and just reading this thread cause im fucking fascinated from the cicada case.

The guy that was on the coords said it led him to a cherry tree.. could the fact that it was a CHERRY tree in a middle of nothing be a clue by itself?
>>
>>17803710
Is shazam knowledgeable as far as old/classical pieces are concerned?

>>17803793
I'd like to point at one thing that we seem to overlook: they did not call the piece Rhapsody, but Rhapody. The S is deliberately missing IMHO. What is a rhapsody without it's S? Might give some thought on that...
>>
>>17803889
Interesting thought !
>>
>>17803900
Good point. And yes, Shazzam covers classical music, if its been published. This piece appears new.
>>
>>17803889
no. since the german coords seems to be an error from OP. Only Beaumont (FR) have been explcitly written. A old village founded under Constantine, in around 320 AD, That as Seen A lot of War, lot of different country, (not really a lot, most france, germany, and the old emire) Seems to be more important then the cherry tree.
>>
>>17803910
Rhapody Hydra Op....
>>
>>17803889
Also, sorry for my attitude.
>>
>>17803889
Cherry-picking..?. LOL
>>
>>17803919
What ever man. Just by being heard by you guys makes me feel like im a part of this :D overhypedfag am I
>>
>>17803925
You do are part of this. at least you're open minded.
>>
>>17803912
Wait ,Constantine? The village goes back that far? I seem to recall Istanbul had some strange clue by Cicada months ago.Istanbul was founded by Constantine the Great. Is there a connection?
>>
>>17803914
Care to elaborate?
>>
Beaumont seems to have been founded in 324, at the end of the Gallo-Roman period; its first name was "super fluvium orna" ("above the River Orne"). Afterwards the village was successively called Bellusmons, Blermont, Byaumont and Beaumont.
In the early Middle Ages the Abbess of Juvigny-sur-Loison had high seigneury rights over Beaumont, whose inhabitants paid her the tithe. In August 1252, Beaumont was freed by the Count of Bar and the Abbess of Juvigny. In 1635 and 1636, during the Thirty Years' War, Hungarian, Polish and Swedish troops ravaged the area, burning down villages and massacring the inhabitants.
>>
is there a pgp signature
>>
>>17803963
It was on Mobi's site, a clue that led to the Tower of Galata. Constantinople had that Soear everyone is talking about. It was sold to Louis the 9th by Baldwin of Constantinople. St Louis has a 314 area code. St Maurice was also an owner of the spear of destiny. Beaumont was abandoned 100 years ago, a century, and the guy who impaled Jesus was a centurion.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centurion
>>
>>17803970
Not on this video. There does not need to be. It used the exact same term as Cicada.( seek and be found) and went up a day before the Cicada tweet, so PGP is pretty null and void. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzA_Le3Iq_w
>>
Maybe we don't have to visit the places. The whole thing is a net crypto puzzle, the history, wiki and satelite pictures might be enough for solving.
>>
>>17804024
there was physical clues on last step. Coords leaded to posters.
So you may be right, be we better investigate anyway
>>
Are you sure we found all the clues in the mp3? Cant the coords somehow point to a part of a song were too look for a clue?
>>
Its words are the map, their meaning is the road, and numbers are the direction
Seek and you will be found.
This clearly indicates we may be on the trail of the Spear of Destiny. Seek and you will be found is a Christian references. being "found" is being "saved" Holy shit this is nuts ! So who is going and when?
>>
>>17804237
Honestly, I don't think this spear of destiny or whatnot is related.
>>
>>17804345
I am not sure, but all these clues point to it.
Here is why it would make sense. The real spear is not what it is in Vienna. It was lost in 1796, during the French revolution. It would be so cicada like to have the "people" find the real thing, and would signal a peoples revolution. The spear is symbolic.
>>
>>17804345
Constantine/Istanbul/St Maurice, Louis the 9th. centurion, lots of connections, but I could be wrong.
>>
>>17804345
Also, seek and you will be found.
Remember "I was lost and now am found"?
Cicada 3301 uses Catholic language, pilgrimage, enlightenment, seek, etc,,
>>
>>17803354
This thread is for Cicada solvers. What you just did is the equivalent of walking into a public school and taking a massive shit on their lawn. It's stupid, but at least it lets us know that you're not well in the head.
>>
>>17804520
Bump and agree !
>>
>>17804520
As OP, I agree with him.
>>
>>17804520
Anyways, Cicada solvers from Uncovering or IRC dosen't give a fuck about mobi.
>>
>>17804638
At least the admins for Uncovering.
I am on the Cicada solvers and dismissed Mobi till the 314 video started being discussed. Now I believe Mobi is one unit of a larger Cicada entity.. The Uncovering admin is one dude
>>
>>17804520
He probably meant "Some cicada solvers", targetting the guys who close their eyes and press their hands on their ears whenever they come across non-PGP-signed clues/data, even when there is evidence it is genuine.
>>
>>17804677
Yup
Cicada has put out none PGP signed clues before. Take a look. I am just not that hung up on PGP and plus, they only said that in 2012, 4 years ago...Lots can change...
>>
Lots of Cicada solvers watch Mobi like a hawk, don't kid yourself.
You can see brotherbox all over the whoiscicada channel on YT, very active. He is the admin for Uncovering. I think its about clicks and eyeballs with some of those guys, To be truthful, this thread is more interesting then either Solvers or most of the vids on YT
>>
>>17804677
Yup. The mods at uncovering may not like Mobi, but those of us who are aware know Mobi is Cicada, and what we have is a true metamorphing. That's what Cicada's do.
>>
I'm happy that we can raise such discussion, with such few trolls. A lot of people have brought up some interresting information along both threads.
There is so much theories to discuss, so much path to investigate, so much pages that wait to be decoded, It would flood the whole /x/. I Hope a chan will finally get a board on cicada. or at least an internet puzzle secret chan.
>>
>>17805110
That seems like a great idea. I have to say this is one of the nicest and most interesting chans in a while. I will say one thing, and its this. I consider myself a part time solver. I have always considered Mobi to be intriguing since January. What made me realize they were Cicada was that video, the one with the Danse Macabre scene. My issue with the Wiki on Cicada is that its too centered on old puzzles. This new one is far more interesting, and if Cicada really is planting physical clues now, they just totally blew my mind.
>>
>>17805322
this is dangerously near 404. We still need validation that there is nothing in France!
